Das Hotel liegt nahe der Fußgängerzone in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel. Es besteht aus zwei Häusern, die durch einen außen gelegenen überdachten Gang verbunden sind. Das geht aus der Beschreibung im Internet nicht hervor. Um beide Häuser herum gibt es genügend Parkplätze. Der Empfang durch die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war nüchtern und nur mäßig freundlich. Um vom Empfang zu den Zimmern zu gelangen, muss man sein Gepäck entweder einige Stufen hinauf, mit dem Aufzug eine Etage hoch und dann einige Stufen hinunter oder außen um das Haus herumlaufen. Auf den ersten Blick ist das Zimmer bei Betreten nicht schlecht. Es hat die versprochene Einrichtung und ist sauber. Das Mobiliar im 70er-Jahre-schellackweiß ist jedoch eher kühl als ansprechend. Die Matratzen sind für mein Empfinden etwas zu hart. Auf den zweiten Blick wird es allerdings unangenehm. Das Bad ist sehr klein. Die Dusche ist ein Witz. Wenn man die Duschtüre schließt kann man sich nicht mehr umdrehen, ohne irgendwo anzustoßen, auch wenn man nicht stark übergewichtig ist. Ich habe mal einen Stuhl in die Dusche gestellt (siehe Foto), damit man sich ein Bild von der ”Größe” machen kann. Die Stoßkantenfliese hängt am Eingang der Dusche so über, dass man sich durchaus beim Betreten/Verlassen der Dusche daran den Fuß verletzen kann. Die Türrahmen der Verbindungstür zwischen Bad und Zimmer sind ausgefranst. Das Zimmerfenster ist so geschickt angebracht, dass man es nur zur Hälfte öffnen kann, weil das Fenster dann an die Gardinenleiste stößt. In der Kaffeemaschine war abgestandenes Wasser (die Wasserstreifen am Rand lassen darauf schließen, dass es nicht erst einen Tag stand) und am inneren Boden des Wasserbehälters befanden sich braune Schmierflecken. Das Frühstück war gut und die Mitarbeiterin freundlich und aufmerksam.

Parking facilities (in case of the hotel ones being filled) just across the courtyard. Rooms: Small, dark and if you have the bad luck to have on to the Main Street it is either loud or it gets really hot. No much fun at all in staying in one, just be good for sleeping and showering (small as well) and that's it. But sleeping is not only marred by the hot or loud dichotomy but also by the fact that this was the second most worn out mattress I have ever slept in. Terrible. Food. Did not have any but the breakfast buffet looked nice. Staff:Friendly and most efficient Communal areas: Nice and clean but nothing to write home about. Sorry guys being cheap on the beds - which is the most important item in an hotel -does not pay out.

Quando siamo in cella, ci trascorre sempre qui. Il rapporto prezzo/prestazione è molto buono, la colazione è molto deliziosa e si ottiene tutto quello che si desidera preparare freschi. Il personale e il capo sono molto precoci e amichevole e si occupano del benessere degli ospiti. Torniamo.

L'hotel Heidekönig è uno dei luoghi più economici per soggiornare nel magnete turistico di Celle, ma non sembra un compromesso quando si tratta di comodità e comfort. Le camere sono state recentemente ristrutturate e, sebbene non siamo stati molto apprezzati dal tema arancione, è stato bello guardare con un comodo letto, sedia, scrivania e gabinetto. Come punto di consiglio e non critico, dovrebbe esistere un vento in bagno, come l'unico modo per ventilare è aprire la finestra, che può essere un'esperienza fredda in inverno/primavera. All'esterno del centro della città, l'hotel offre parcheggio per gli ospiti e accesso al bus della città. Ma a pochi passi (circa 20 minuti) dal centro preferiremmo camminare. Possiamo anche consigliare il ristorante La Brasserie. Arrivando tardi, non ci sconvolse di andare in città e cenare al ristorante, è stato un buon pasto, una bella porzione di dimensioni e delizioso.
