Che posto fantastico 🙌 Absolutamente stupendo ❤️ Ci piaceva ogni minuto. La particolare attenzione ai dettagli è così sorprendente. Tutti i dipendenti sono assolutamente meravigliosi e gentili. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare. Questo è stato un evidenziamento nella nostra visita a Cape.

Durante una recente visita al Sudafrica, ha trascorso un bel po'di giorni a Old Werf. La posizione è grande all'interno di Stellenbosch, meravigliosa di camminare sulla vecchia città e di godere di gallerie d'arte vicine, vigneti e altri siti. L'hotel dispone di camere molto confortevoli e il personale è sopra il top meraviglioso - cercando ogni possibile bisogno.Non perdere il (gratuito) bar caffè e le meravigliose colazioni. Tutti i nostri pasti erano grandi e non potevamo avere una migliore esperienza.Grazie all'intera squadra per un fantastico e memorabile soggiorno.

Boschendal Estates must rank as one of THE places to stay in the Stellenbosch area. Surrounded by mountains on one side and rolling meadows on the other, the scenery is spectacular, and the location is ideal for visiting vineyards in the region. The Retreat Cottages where we stayed were charming and the staff at both the Deli and Werf restaurants were most helpful. Special mention for Marylise who went out of her way to accommodate our requirements and Peter our young hiking trail guide who persisted despite a severe allergy attack. Great breakfast at the Werf too!

My husband and I did a bike trip up to Barrydale for the long weekend in September. Coming home on the Monday, we got caught in the worst storm to hit the Western Cape in the last 100 years! We made it into Montague and made the decision to rather stay over that night, as it was just too dangerous to continue on the bike. We were lucky enough to find accommodation at the Mimosa Lodge. Our entire experience there, from my initial call, to the warm personal welcome we got on arrival (despite leaving a pool of water behind in reception because we were so wet!), to the hospitality shown in the restaurant that evening and again the next morning at breakfast was amazing. The employees were working under extremely difficult conditions. It was the end of a long weekend, so people were on their way home, but because of the storm, there were so many people who ended up stranded, literally sleeping in their cars because all the churches and school halls were full. I watched the staff show compassion and kindness to so many people who came in begging to be allowed to get something to eat for their families, as most of the places in town were closed. Their staff did an outstanding job in trying to accommodate everyone as best as they could and ensure we all had a good evening. In fact, their receptionist wasn't able to get home, so they put her up in a room for the night and, in return, she worked another late shift helping out her colleagues, which shows you the kind of dedication their staff have to making your stay the best one it can possibly be. Our steaks were divine and the service was too. Our room had a carafe of complimentary sherry and fruit waiting to warm us up, the bed was big enough for a family and the views are beautiful. The next morning I was greeted with a huge smile and a hug from the very same Manager who had been on duty the night before and he went out of his way to keep everyone updated as to when roads out of Montague were being re-opened and the safest way to travel back to Cape Town. What could have been an extremely unpleasant situation turned out to be absolutely wonderful, mostly because of the staff - they truly represent the warmth and hospitality of the South African people. I would love to go back there again!

When I booked my 1-person stay for 3 nights it was not directly through the hotel website. This may have caused the hotel to place me in the self-catering apartment located a 5-minute walk away. I didn't learn of this until almost the day of arrival. Arriving at night via shuttle service (arranged by the hotel at my request & which was excellent & good value) I checked in at the main hotel & was then driven to the apartment where it was confusing to gain access. The night watchman, however, assisted in gaining access & transporting luggage. The room (Apt 3) was clean & otherwise satisfactory. A church bell nearby may be a bother for some & barking dogs in the residential neighborhood too. The second morning I was awakened by chirping crickets in the room! I reported it to management that day but the problem persisted. On departure day I walked with luggage to the main hotel for check-out (they offered to have it collected) which wasn't too difficult. It was stored until my departure for the airport later in the day. Among the hotel staff, Clinton was the most notable. He was very helpful & pleasant to converse with. I certainly would recommend Eendracht, just be mindful of which property at which you will be staying.

Una delle più grandi e più belle camere (207) sono rimasta in casa per un po'. Pulizia, moderna e tutto quello che hai bisogno. Grande caffè complimentare. La proprietà di classe mondiale con così tante strutture che puoi usare. Backs Restaurant: Menu piccolo ma molto conveniente. Ristorante Valley: Puoi mangiare circa la stessa colazione per quasi metà del prezzo a “Back” Negativi: Golf: Questo deve essere il più caro dei 5 migliori corsi in Sud Africa per giocare come membro affiliato. Non proprio come catering per i sudafricani. Come golfer molto avido, non sono disposto a pagare quella tassa. Anche il tasso scontato se si rimane all'hotel è eccessivamente. 2/10 L'accesso alla proprietà è scioccatamente lento e inefficace, soprattutto per gli ospiti che soggiornano/ritornano all'hotel. Ogni giorno la stessa procedura per ottenere l'accesso. Codice valido solo per 1-day. R40 per l'acqua ancora in una bottiglia di plastica normale! Prezzo: 6/10 Personale: 9/10 Posizione: 9/10 Servizi: 9/10 Totale: 8/10 Poiché la proprietà è così grande, una mappa della posizione di tutte le strutture sarebbe grande.
