Venendo in Sudafrica per la prima volta mi confortò di rimanere in un hotel conosciuto. Usavamo la navetta aeroportuale. Un allenatore accompagnò il nostro conducente. C'era una miscela con il numero di persone, quindi non c'era abbastanza spazio nella macchina per tutti. Il treno è rimasto all'aeroporto (che sarà poi preso) mentre il conducente ci ha portati all'hotel. Così sacrificioso e bello! Ci sono state goduto la decorazione dell'hotel e l'atmosfera rilassata che le divano offerte nel ristorante. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suite fantastica, e il personale era molto amichevole e disposto a aiutare con qualsiasi cosa.

Overall a good experience at the hotel. Was greeted promptly by a staff member. Got a good room on the highest floor and the hotel was smelling of Indian spices (what a great way to start off). It was the slow season so two of the three elevators were operating. Did not wait that long. The rooms were small. Would recommend only staying about three nights. Great for people traveling business. Breakfast was good and had good seats. Wasn't crowded and did not need to come at a specific time. Laptop vault worked. The adapters did not. Luckily I got some Euro plugs which actually worked in the bathroom area (no where else). There is a USB port by the bed but those are not that quick. Wifi was good in the room but not that good in the lobby. I slept comfortably and it was quiet. Easy to get Uber. Would stay again (if I am on a short business trip). Tip: Do not exchange money at the lobby UNLESS it is an emergency. Also, know where you go and do not look lost.

Room and especially the bathroom were small but adequate for a few nights. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was good with many options and an omelet station. There is a market that sets up every day in the square directly across from the hotel, however, this was not an issue. Our room did not overlook the square but overlooked rooftops. The bottom half of the window was frosted to block the rooftops. The rooftop pool and pool area is small. The location is the best reason to stay here. With your back to the market, walk down Longmarket or Shortmarket street to catch the Hop on Hop Off bus on Long street or continue to Bree Street for restaurant options including Hacienda (Mexican obviously), Burger & Lobster (limited but excellent menu and great bar). SCAM One evening, when we were heading to Bree Street, we were stopped by a gentleman with a security lanyard telling us the street ahead was closed because they were filming a movie. We could pass if we scanned a credit card into a wall mounted device. No charge but they need our names to protect the filming equipment. We declined and went up another street to the restaurant. Road not blocked, no filming equipment. We were glad we were suspicious. Amazing how you could be duped by a security lanyard.

UUtente ospiteSono rimasto lì per qualche notte, e ritorno di nuovo; anche considerando un lungo soggiorno. Il posto è pulito; la zona della cucina e dello studio è invitante, il pub e il balcone adatto è confortevole e dà il senso di una festa privata, sopra il bussto di Long Street sotto. Amo i molti nodi e giri e angoli della vecchia casa e dei piani in legno che credono, ma gli ospiti sono ciò che fa sentire il posto come una casa lontana da casa, una miscela eclettica di visitatori locali e stranieri che passano attraverso la città. C'è un'atmosfera e un'atmosfera di essere in un bagagliaio in una città straniera, da qualche parte all'estero, facendo sentire uno come se fosse in vacanza, da qualche parte lontano da casa. E' diventato il mio alloggio di prima scelta, per una festa o due notti in città.

UUtente ospiteEinfach spitze! Der krönende Abschluss unserer Südafrika Rundreise. Schöne große Zimmer, mit 2 großen bequemen Betten, sogar ein Fenster kann man ein wenig öffnen (ein sehr großes Plus), sodass man die Klimaanlage nicht unbedingt einschalten muss. Großes Badezimmer, extra WC, extra Dusche, Bademäntel und Badeschlapfen ebenfalls vorhanden. Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt, ganz toll. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und aufmerksam, besonders beim Frühstück. Im gesamten Hotel Lobby- Bar- und Frühstücksbereich nicht zu stark unterkühlte Temperatur. Ein angenehmer Duft „White Tea“ strömt durchs ganze Haus. Ein kleiner Pool und ein größeres Hallenbad stehen zur Verfügung, beides aus Zeitmangel nicht genutzt. Zur Waterfront geht man ca 20 Minuten. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, leider nur für 2 Nächte.

UUtente ospiteHaving travelled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels worldwide, I can confidently state that my recent experience was the worst ever. Despite seeing several negative reviews about their service, I thought they were just occasional lapses. However, I soon discovered that the hotel had a persistent service problem. I had a problem with my reservation and spent two days trying to resolve it, but no one cared. To make matters worse, I was charged ten times the amount I had originally paid for the same room (i.e., $300 instead of $30) without any reasonable explanation. When I questioned this, the staff merely shrugged it off, citing fluctuating prices as the reason. The lady in charge of reservations was extremely rude and disrespectful throughout the ordeal. In addition to the issues with my reservation and the exorbitant charges, the air conditioner was not working properly and made a lot of noise. Furthermore, the fridge in my room made a huge noise, which disturbed my sleep at 2 am (I recorded a video as proof). Moreover, the noise levels in the dormitory were unacceptable all the night! making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. In short, I urge anyone considering staying at this hotel to think twice and look for other options.

UUtente ospitePrima notte a Cape Town in luna di miele, e cosa troviamo ad accoglierci al Pepperclub dopo le ore 10 di sera???Lenzuola e copriletto con buchi!!!Vorrei specificare, non piccoli buchini, ma veri e propri buchi ben visibili ad occhio nudo. Mostrate le foto al responsabile, mi sarei aspettata scuse immediate con altrettanto immediata sostituzione della biancheria...Invece cosa accade???Accade che il direttore pro tempore appare incredulo, e chiede di poter vedere di persona le lenzuala. Una volta constatati in loco i diversi buchi, assume un'aria incredula , chiama due governanti, fa nuovamente constatare l'occorso, e con calma, dispone che avvenga il cambio. Francamente non mi sarei mai aspettata di ”trovare” lenzuola buche in un albergo 5 stelle, ad ancor meno di dover assistere ad una sorta di ”processo farsa” nel quale direttore e personale fungevano da periti e giudici al tempo stesso! L' idea che ci siamo fatti è che questa struttura accolga spesso, tra i rinomati ospiti, soggetti che ”vanno un po' di fretta”, amanti del ”carpe diem”, forse poco o nulla interessati a pretendere il ”minimo sindacale” in tema di biancheria da letto!!!

UUtente ospiteIl mio amico e io abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti in una camera privata con bagno privato al 91 Loop Hostel. Non è la camera più conveniente che troverai, ma è relativamente costosa con altri ostelli simili. Il buono: - È un personale molto amichevole che è felice di aiutarvi con ciò che avete bisogno - ubicazione stupefacente - se volete essere in grado di camminare molto ovunque, sicuramente resta qui! -Pulizia, efficiente e sicura -Servi il caffè e il succo al mattino con fatto a richiesta uova e tosta o musli e yogurt (durante i tempi di COVID) -Comfortabile letto con una sicurezza personale e molti plug USB per caricare tutto quello che potresti bisogno -Caldo - Lavanderia in tutta la strada che era veloce e facile - non così bene: -La nostra stanza era al terzo piano, ma la finestra era aperta all’area del giardino e ogni volta che la gente passava tempo li sembrava parlare all’interno della nostra stanza. La musica che si giocava nell'area di lobby ha anche reso difficile dormire, e fortunatamente, in qualche momento, la notte, ci ha fatto stare tranquilli.

Ma l’allarme di casa mi turbò ripetutamente nel sonno, e le mutande non erano confortevoli, rendendo il mio soggiorno meno piacevole in questa volta; se queste questioni fossero risolte, sarei certamente tornato a rimanere di nuovo.

EEddieOnTourWe stayed here for 3 nights, and it was the perfect hotel to finish our holiday in S. Africa. Staff were very friendly, and we had excellent service from everyone in the hotel. I needed to see a doctor and this was very quickly arranged by the hotel and the doctor was at the hotel within 20mins absolutely unbelievable. Our room was beautiful with a view over the ocean which was absolutely stunning. The rooms were beautifully appointed with the usual Nespresso machine kettle and some complimentary soft drinks and snacks. AC was excellent. Wi-Fi speed was OK but at peak hours slow. We loved our stay there and would definitely recommend paying extra for an ocean view room. Given our flight was not until 10pm we asked if we could get a late check-out to 6pm and this was not a problem and the additional cost was reasonable and this allowed our a very relaxing last day in Camps Bay. We would definitely come back

JJulian PeensThis bed and breakfast is in the ideal location to visit Simon’s town and its coastline however the actual set up of the bed and breakfast is a huge let down.
We arrived to find our room was not ready, once it was the place still looked unkempt, there was a bucket in the bath, the furniture had not been returned to its original locations well and the complimentary items seemed used.
On our second night there was load shedding a common occurrence however there seemed to be no precautionary measures taken and we had to use our phone lights to climb the three flights of stairs to our room only to find the rechargeable light (obviously for such occasions) had no batteries and was therefore useless. As South African citizens we fully understand the uncertainty of power but for the cost and normal clientele of this accommodation we really expected there to be more in place.
The meal times had been adjusted for the convenience of the staff who were on the premises compared to the welcome sheet details we received on arrival. The whole place seemed to be being run by support staff with no obvious manager on site for the three days we were there (we stayed over a weekend which I would assume to be a prime time)
There is about 4 parking sports in front of the building but they were not being used to their full potential and often we had to park a little further away.
Overall the location was the main positive. Considering the price we would have hoped to have better amenities and hope that the profile for this accommodation can be amended as there are no pools on the property unlike what the description had lead us to believe.
Luckily the charm of Simon’s town and the beaches made up for the serious lack of attention to detail and luxury you would assume a place this price and in this location would have.
3/10 would probably not go there again.
