Be careful of being unknowingly charged with a ‘discussionary charge of tips’ (supposed to be A Conpulsory charge of tips, don’t be fool by the name, it is non-discussionary) AFTER CHECKING OUT of the hotel. I was being charged with a discussionary charge of the tips on the credit card automatically without being informed upfront after I checked out and left the hotel. When I checked out, i was informed at the counter that they were closing their account for previous day and they would help me check out my room and email me the invoice of my stay after they finished closing account. As a result, I innocently left the hotel since I thought a 5-star hotel would not have anything gone wrong. However, I was totally wrong until I saw extra charges on my credit card while not receiving any so called invoice from the hotel at all. I then reached out to Trip.com to request for the invoice that they have promised to send to me and it was then I was informed that the extra charges were from a discussionary charge of tips. I wasn’t happy about the way this was done hence I requested for a refund for this since it clearly stated this is a DISCUSSIONARY fee, not a compulsory fee. However, I was informed that this is a Non-refundable fee and my request was denied. Out of so many hotels I have stayed, it is unbelievable that in a 5-Star hotel, I was forced to pay something that wasn’t even being informed upfront. In addition, with the fee name suggested, it is a discussionary charge of tips NOT a compulsory charge of tips, the hotel has forced the customers to pay it as COMPULSORY CHARGE OF TIPS. In addition, the hotel services were very inefficient and lot of rooms for improve. We ordered for an in-room meal and we were told that it would take about half an hour to deliver. Hence we waited, and until an hour later, there was no update on our meal and we had to make a call again to check for the progress of our meal. It was then we knew there was a delay in the meal. By the time we done with our meal, we made the call again to request for someone to collect the plates, we literally waited for more than an hour and had to call twice before someone came to pick up the plates. This shouldn’t have been the service received in a 5-star hotel and the worst of all, the hotel should have more transparency in their charges and should have informed the customers on the charges upfront before the actual charging. When we signed for the amount paid for the meal, there were no statement on the discussionary charge of tips at all, and we didn’t expect there would be as we were not even informed. It is not that we are unwilling to give the tips and we did give the tips during the stay. However, it made us very uncomfortable that we weren’t informed anything upfront and it was charged to my credit card AFTER we CHECKED OUT of THE HOTEL. It made us feeling very unsafe to provide the credit card to the hotel as they can charge whatever charges they want after checking out the hotel. In addition, it is a discussionary charge, isn’t it should be discussed before I was being charged? If not it should be called a a compulsory charge of tips.

Ottimo hotel boutique vicino a Westfield Stratford. L'interno è bello e moderno. La camera è molto pulita e il letto è comodo. L'accoglienza è molto gentile. Problemi minori riscontrati: c'era una luce blu lampeggiante sotto la TV. L'ho coperto invece di chiamare la reception perché ero lì solo per una notte. È stato difficile estrarre il gel doccia dal flacone del gel doccia anche se il flacone sembra pieno. Ci tornerei perché è un hotel ben posizionato ed eccellente.

The Corinthia met all of our very high expectations for a 5 star luxury hotel in London. All staff were professional, warm and attentive. In particular, the concierge (we dealt with Rafal and Dario) are sophisticated, knowing and responsive and provided great recommendations. Fab cocktails and live music at Velvet Bar. The suite had the perfect mix of contemporary elegance mixed with some British charm. Very well located for walking to attractions. Overall an excellent experience and we will certainly be back. Corinthia is a new favourite property in London.

Rooms were clean - booked a twin suite, but in all honesty I wouldn’t class it as that. There were 2 single beds, a small table and 2 chairs but that was all as the room was very small. Definitely not worth the extra cost: would book a premium twin next time. Lots of airline employees stay here so the foyer can get very busy. Great location - shops, restaurants and underground very nearby.

This hotel have some weird rooms. There is a small platform inside the room. A coffee table plus 1 chair on the platform. Then no space to put my luggages. We travel to Europe for almost 1 month. We have 4 big luggages and 2 small luggages. I can only open one suitcase and no space to open the door or walk to the bathroom. . After an hour negotiation with Reception, the Front Desk Manager finally let us to have a bigger room. Anyway, we are happy to be staying at this hotel during my birthday trip. The reception offers me an access to the lounge because of my birthday stay in this hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location, minutes walk from different Tube stations and close to the National Gallery. You can also take a nice walk up the Mall through the garden and towards Buckingham Palace. And you can get to Chinatown within 15 minutes walk and Covent Garden within 10 minutes walk. The hotel is a bit old but they have maintained it well.

Lovely basic hotel with excellent transport links. We had a lovely hot breakfast every day during our long summer stay. Staff were clean and polite. The fitness room is clean and quiet. Sheets were properly installed with every housekeeping visit. This is a lovely place to stay when visiting London.

Hotel fantastico, molto utile per il personale cibo e bevande nella zona locale. Molto buoni punti notturni vicino e molto facile per arrivare al centro della città. L'hotel stesso le camere sono un piccolo per un paio di notti è buono come un paio di nostre notti non avevamo problemi e non sentivano davvero nulla la nostra camera era sopra guardare il fiume e vedere le cartucce del cielo ect. Se siete a Londra solo per il fine settimana questo hotel è un dovere di rimanere pianificati di restare qui presto.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location within walking distance to the Westfield shopping centre. A great place to spend a day shopping and the food court is fantastic. There are a few decent pubs within walking distance of the hotel. The staff at the hotel are friendly and accommodating. We did not like the first room that we were allocated. It was dark and dingy and had concrete blocks outside the windows for security. It also had one of the bathrooms with the see-through glass so anybody in the bedroom can see what you are doing. It was not a room that we could have spent a week in. Fortunately, we got re-allocated up to the seventh floor to a nice bright room with a great view and a nice big bathroom. The breakfast room had changed since we last stayed at the hotel about 7 years ago as there seemed to be a new development being built (DAO at the Dorsett) where the old restaurant used to be. The cooked breakfast was okay but the fried eggs were a bit rubbery and hardly ever runny. We tried the eggs benedict but the poached eggs were hit and miss. We finished the week off with pancakes with maple syrup which were delicious. All the staff at breakfast were very nice and the manager gave us a free waffle to share with fruit, cream and syrup on our last day. There were 2 ways of getting coffee at breakfast but neither were very good. There was a large metal coffee dispenser but the coffee was not hot and it was very bitter. There was also a coffee machine dispensing latte, cappuccino etc. but the coffee was cold. We ended up topping it up with hot water from the same machine which improved it a bit. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the room service. We kept our room very tidy so we thought that we would be looked after but not so. We had a couple of coffees on the day when we arrived at the hotel with brown sugar but this was never replenished so I had to get some from the breakfast room each morning. The coffee sachets were not always replenished in the room and sometimes we were just left with decaf. We did contact room service a couple of times to get some coffee brought up to our room as we figured that we were paying for it anyway. Also a few of the sachets were 2 years out of date. Good thing we took a jar of coffee and some Coffee Mate with us. On two of the days we did not receive our allocation of 2 bottles of water in the small fridge so we had to contact room service to get some. As the temperature outside was about 36 degrees we needed all the water we could get. On another day we only received one bath towel as the hotel policy is to replace all the towels every day so we had to contact room service again. At the end of our week we also ran out of toilet paper so we pinched some from a downstairs restroom. On one of our days we were woken at 7 a.m. by the fire alarm but it was a false alarm. The Elemis products in the bathroom are a welcome change from the bog standard stuff you get at some hotels. There is a Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel that offers 15% discount to guests but we didn't fancy the menu and it never looked very busy. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit London (probably next year) as it is quite reasonably priced and the overall experience is good.

Se prenoti su Trip.com in anticipo circa 2 mesi prima, la tariffa è molto ragionevole. Il prezzo include la colazione giornaliera che era deliziosa. La colazione è la stessa tutti i giorni, ma mi è piaciuta nonostante ci sia stata per 11 notti! La camera era abbastanza grande ed è uno dei pochi hotel con letti gemelli (la maggior parte degli altri hotel offre un letto matrimoniale, che è più piccolo di un letto matrimoniale). L'hotel è a soli 50 metri dalla stazione di Russell Square, sulla Piccadilly Line. Ciò significa che puoi raggiungere l'aeroporto di Heathrow tramite la metropolitana direttamente all'hotel. Ci vuole circa 1 ora per arrivarci e la tariffa è solo 1 sterlina se paghi con contactless. Ma tieni presente che dovresti salire 1 breve rampa di scale nella stazione, il che potrebbe essere una sfida se hai molti bagagli. Sebbene l'hotel sia situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, è tranquillo e pacifico. È proprio accanto al Brunswick Center, un mini centro commerciale con Waitrose e negozi al dettaglio, ad esempio Boots, ristoranti e persino un cinema! La stazione di Russell Square è a solo 1 fermata da St Pancras International, che è l'interscambio con molte città fuori Londra e anche con Eurostar. La stazione di Russell Square è a 4 fermate dalla stazione di Piccadilly Circus sulla Piccadilly Line e altre 6 fermate dalla stazione di Paddington sulla Bakerloo Line. L'unico inconveniente è che la camera non aveva un frigorifero e l'acqua della balneazione era tiepida e non abbastanza calda. C'è una palestra in comune appena fuori dall'hotel a 5,99 sterline all'ora per gli ospiti dell'hotel. Per la posizione e il prezzo, ci tornerei in futuro.

La seconda volta, pensavo fossero quattro persone, perché la foto mostra due letti. Il soggiorno è stato solo per scoprire che c'erano sei persone. Cinque sorelle grandi vivevano nella stanza. La sera, c'era un po'di freddo. Ha colpito diversi ghiacci. Mi ha sorpreso abbastanza di tutti coloro che incontravano freddo in un periodo speciale. Ho fermato la transizione per una notte e ho fatto un bagno prima di partire.C'è un lavabo in sei camere, un lavabo può lavare i denti e la faccia, un bagno pubblico e un bagno fuori dalla porta, sono ancora peggiori di quelli in quattro bagni.Se non mi piace questo, puoi controllare la prenotazione e l'alloggio. Non ho detto molto in pubblico, ho già dato informazioni dettagliate e commenti prima.

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

Non piaceva · Il doccia era in calore - quando ho detto al proprietario che lei aveva detto che ”molte persone” avevano lamentato, ma la colpa era con me (e con la gente precedente) perché non abbiamo usato il dial. Ho usato il dial e era in calore. Poiché molte persone hanno denunciato, il problema è chiaramente il doccia e non ”molte persone”. Dopo ha detto che erano due persone. Il proprietario era ostili alla mia denuncia, che non è davvero ingiustificata. La stanza è sbalordita (vedi foto). Le tende non sono adatte, non sono affiancate correttamente (vedi immagini). I mobili sono sp**** e shabby (vedi immagini). Il quadro di Windows sembra essere fuso. I buchi nelle tende (vedi immagini). Il letto è squarciato non appena viene toccato. Quando mi lamentai della doccia, il proprietario ha detto che non era un hotel a 5 stelle, è un hotel a 0 stelle. Questo non è davvero abbastanza buono. I principi che mi aspettano sono un letto che non si spruzza e una doccia che è utile.

Siamo arrivati circa 12 in pomeriggio, ovviamente la nostra stanza non era pronta, anche se la signora alla ricezione ha chiesto un deposito di 20 sterline prima di entrare, e non hanno menzionato nulla di questo al check-out. Ho dimenticato di chiedere il mio denaro e devo cacciarli ora. Sono costretti a fare colazione per i bambini, quindi si prega di prepararsi se viaggiate con i bambini. Le camere sono pulite ma non di buona dimensione, soprattutto se siete claustrobici.

Questa è stata la nostra seconda permanenza all'Hotel Clarendon, Blackheath e siamo stati altrettanto felici della nostra scelta. La camera del super re era spaziosa, pulita e ben provvista.Se ho qualche critica (consapevole di essere costruttiva), sono che si dovrebbe fornire acqua potabile e sacchi di tè erbacei. Lo stile della stanza, pur bellissimo, era un po' confuso.Mahogany e arachidi veneered mobili, e bianchi di pittura di tenda in legno ... Il colazione incluso nel prezzo era eccellente, con molta scelta e fresco colazione inglese. Il menu di cena era anche eccellente e il cibo non era deluso. Il personale della sala colazione/divorzio è estremamente utile, attento e amichevole.

La pulizia era molto curata e non c'era nessuna trascuratezza a causa del gran numero di ospiti, il personale delle pulizie era tutto molto giovane e camminava anche al trotto! Ho messo le ciotole nel lavandino e ho aiutato anche a lavarle! Eccezionale! Una volta durante il viaggio, la presa del nostro convertitore si è rotta, causando lo scatto di un interruttore. L' hotel si trova in un bellissimo palazzo in una zona centrale, bella e tranquilla accanto al London Eye, a pochi minuti dalla fermata del bus e dalla stazione di Waterloo. Lì vicino si trovano un supermercatio, una farmacia, tanti ristoranti e caffetterie e una bittega aperta 24h. La camera era bella grande, ben arredata e pulita, il bagno nuovo e carino e i letti comodissimi, abbiamo dormito meravigliosamente. La colazione era abbondante e buoni piatti anche a cena, consiglio infatti la soluzione Meal Deal cioè colazione e cena con due portate e bibite comprese. Il personale gentilissimo.

Hotel 5 stelle in posizione perfetta per visitare londra, affacciato sul London Eye e a due passi da Westminster. Le camere sono luminose e pulite, anche se più piccole e austere rispetto a hotel della stessa fascia di altri paesi. La grandezza dell’hotel e la presenza di un solo punto ascensori si traduce in grandi “passeggiate” fra i corridoi, con camere distanti anche 10 minuti dall’ascensore. In generale, prezzi decisamente troppo alti per i servizi offerti, probabilmente alzati di un buon 25/30% per la posizione ottima. Personale cortese e disponibile (soprattutto la concierge, capace di trovare un tavolo per 7 nell’esclusivo ristorante all’Oxo Tower)

La pulizia era molto curata e non c'era nessuna trascuratezza a causa del gran numero di ospiti, il personale delle pulizie era tutto molto giovane e camminava anche al trotto! Ho messo le ciotole nel lavandino e ho aiutato anche a lavarle! Eccezionale! Una volta durante il viaggio, la presa del nostro convertitore si è rotta, causando lo scatto di un interruttore. Il problema è stato risolto rapidamente e siamo stati invitati in un bar per un drink gratuito.

La stanza è piccola e pulita, senza pantofole e dentifricio e spazzolino. Ma è molto comodo viaggiare e la colazione è molto ricca per 7 sterline. Ci vogliono solo pochi minuti per arrivare all'Abbazia di Westminster. Segui la navigazione per vedere il Big Ben, il London Eye, Buckingham Palace e St. James's Park. Ci vogliono circa 3 ore, più che sufficienti per prendere l'aereo alle 15:00 . Molto vicino anche alla stazione della metropolitana di St James. Non dovrebbe esserci l'ascensore quando esci dalla metropolitana, quindi devi salire le scale alte con una grande valigia, haha😊 Le luci nella stanza hanno molte modalità, mi piace molto.

Worst hotel ever. No effort made to clean the place, never mind that no one has attended to the interior since 1970. Gloss paint should have been retouched in 1980s, dust mites should have been hoovered yesterday, plug socket should have been Installed beside bed 1990’s and mould all around bathroom, ceiling and walls should have been cleaned this morning. The wash hand basin sits on your stomach as you sit on the toilet. You can’t move in the shower in case you fall on to the toilet. You need to see this place to believe it. But, don’t bother. I’ve stayed with many places on this street and I never bother to review, but this place makes the exception. Look somewhere else folks. Can’t believe how much I parted for it Go somewhere else.

First time in a hostel by myself. Everyone seemed very welcoming and friendly. Facilities were good and worked well. Reception is open 24/7 which is always useful. Communal areas were nice also. Location is great, particularly if you wish to go to the British Museum. Definitely bring an eye mask and some ear plugs. The lamp lights on the bed are quite bright when the lights are out and also sound travels easy through the building.

Edison è come sempre buono e la qualità è così.L'hotel a Londra è troppo costoso, quindi ha determinato il tipo di camera più economico.Il male è che non c'è paesaggio fuori dalla finestra.Questa casa è molto sensata, l'entrata è molto bella, ma ci sono molti bar intorno alla notte, se cammina. I servizi di lavanderia sono ancora specialmente personalizzati. Il sapore di caffè è al piano di sotto della mattina. Il sapore di laboratorio nero è molto comodo.La stanza è piena di accesso, il bagno è tutto circondato da pioggia e acqua di riserva.L'interruttore della luce è anche molto delicato.

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

Ho trascorso un soggiorno incantevole qui. Posizione un po' fuori città (zona 2/3) ma i trasporti pubblici sono accessibili. Comunque anche Greenwich è un bel quartiere. La camera dell'hotel è molto pulita, ben attrezzata e, soprattutto, più economica del 50-70% rispetto alla zona 1 dell'hotel.

Qualche disguido durante il check-in. Abbiamo specificato nella nostra prenotazione che abbiamo 2 bambini. Abbiamo anche dichiarato la loro età. Quando siamo arrivati, hanno detto che la prenotazione viene effettuata solo per 2 adulti. Ho mostrato loro tutto quello che dovevo dimostrare la mia prenotazione. Hanno detto che abbiamo utilizzato un agente di terze parti per prenotare (ad esempio trip.com). L'agente ha commesso un errore e dovremmo parlare con lui. (Cosa???? ) Ma mi faranno un favore e parleranno… ?? (Mi stai facendo un favore come ho fatto qc??). Alla fine ci trasferiscono in una suite familiare, aggiungendo che potrebbe essere solo per una notte, potrebbero chiederci di trasferirci e bla bla bla….. Sì, mi hai aggiornato, ma allora! L’atteggiamento del tuo staff è l’intero problema. Ho utilizzato un agente di terze parti, ma è un'azienda che hai approvato. Quando sorgono problemi dai la colpa al cliente? Ho dato un 2/5 per il servizio semplicemente a causa dell'aggiornamento.

Un ragazzo dello staff Saihou, ci ha accolto gentilmente in struttura quasi alle 4 a.m per fare il check in e alle 6 a.m per il check out e ci ha stampato i biglietti aereo, ci ha messo a nostro agio da subito. Lo staff molto disponibile, camere pulite e calde d’inverno. A 2 minuti dalla metro che collega a zone come Liverpool street, St. Paul, Oxford Circus ed altre. Unica pecca non funzionava l’areatore in bagno.
