Burnley

Firstly we have spent lots of nights in premier inns up and down the country over many years so we have plenty of experience of them. This was probably the worst. Room was a bit grubby, smelt of damp, walls were stained. We took other members of our family as we have always had good experiences but safe to say they won’t return to premier inns. In the night we returned to have drinks in the beefeater at 10 but were told they had closed. This was despite the opening times advertised until 11 and I had earlier checked to be told 10.30. I asked if we could have drinks to take out only to be told the tills were off so no. This meant our group of 10 were all in bed for 10.15pm. Not good! One of our party had to walk to a garage to get their children drinks as the vending machine didn’t have a good choice. Breakfast was awful. If you waited for bacon the sausages were all gone. The food was coming out in dribs and drabs, none of us managed to get a full breakfast. Toaster was broken as was the coffee machine. Plates were constantly running out. There only seemed to be about 4 staff there, all of whom were working hard. Not sure if they had staff sickness or they need to employ more but it definitely needs sorting out. We stayed at the premier inn London and windsor a few months ago and the difference between these and Burnley were chalk and cheese. The fact that we were n bed for 10 completely spoilt our experience. Friends stayed at the omorod b&b up the road for 1/2 the price and it was much better.

Reception staff was lovely it was nice and quiet the hotel overall was lovely it was a normal premier Inn I would definitely go back for sure.

A nice hotel that is situated in a very pleasant location on the edge of town.There are a couple of lovely parks in the vicinity which were nice for a walk. The hotel is fairly close to the motorway, and also near to the town centre and football ground.It was a decent enough place to stay without being spectacular,though the price was fantastic.

I really liked it friendly staff, big rooms, quiet location, very short walk to town and next to a very nice park to walk around, I had my breakfast in the pub next door that worked really well and was very tasty, Also the free parking was a big plus to,

Great welcome from PRIYA at reception . You were extremely helpful as were were going to a wedding the next day and not familiar with the area.. thank you so much we really appreciated your help and friendliness . It does make a difference to receive help like you give

This is the worst experience I have had at a premier inn. The noise made by the worn out staircase was the start of the issue closely followed by the maintenance work that started at 7am outside our room window. The good night guarantee is a lie. Having raised the issue with reception I was told to contact guest relations, they told me that I don’t tell reception quickly enough for the guarantee… I guess I should have not tried to sleep there!

We had a lovely time at Premier Inn Burnley, very warm welcome and smooth check in by Priya , he made sure thay we have all the information and my kids wowed with chocolates by him. Clean room and all the amenities were avaliable for us to use, the pub next door was a treat, free car park and the hotel is close to local attractions. Thanks for the great service.

Another great stay at the Burnley Premier Inn. It’s not the most modern hotel in the chain, but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The hotel is only a short walk to Turf Moor and so is popular with people going to the football. There is on site parking as well. Ultimately what makes the hotel great is its staff. They are top class and invariably friendly and helpful - same at the adjacent Brewers Fayre.

We were so surprised to find Easter gifts and eggs for the children. It was so thoughtful and unexpected. It made a difficult stay so much more pleasant. My daughter couldn't stop smiling. Of course the beds were as comfortable as usual. Thank you.
