Struttura ben posizionata per quanto riguarda i collegamenti con autobus e tram nelle vicinanze Viale un po' rumoroso, ma le camere sono ben isolate

La posizione è a Buda e fuori dai sentieri battuti.

Hotel situato nella parte di Buda, servito benissimo dai mezzi pubblici che in un attimo ti portano ovunque. Bella la camera e il personale è gentilissimo e sempre pronto ad aiutare e a fornire qualsiasi tipo di informazione. Consigliato

Un hotel molto pulito e moderno. La colazione è a buffet serviti da soli. La tariffa è varia e abbondante. Se hai il sonno leggero, prova a prendere una camera sul retro dell'hotel poiché l'hotel è situato vicino a un trafficato incrocio di quattro strade. Non ci ha disturbato perché eravamo abituati al rumore del traffico vivendo su una strada trafficata a casa. Il trasporto pubblico è eccellente e la fermata dell'autobus per la città si trova a circa settantacinque metri dall'hotel. Non è possibile acquistare i biglietti dall'autista, dall'altra parte dell'incrocio trafficato dove si ferma l'autobus di ritorno dalla città c'è un distributore automatico di biglietti. Acquista un abbonamento per l'autobus da 24, 48, 72 ore o più, questo ti consentirà di utilizzare tutti i trasporti pubblici a Budapest tranne gli autobus sali e scendi. Ciò include i tram e la metropolitana. Se non desideri acquistare un biglietto, puoi comunque utilizzare l'autobus senza, poiché l'autista non effettuerà il controllo. Tuttavia, a volte un ispettore sarà sull'autobus per controllare i biglietti, se non ne hai uno dovrai pagare una grossa multa. In autobus ci vogliono circa dieci minuti per arrivare al ponte Elisabetta, scendere lì o alla fermata successiva una cinquantina di metri più avanti. Controlla la mappa e cerca Vaci Uta, questa è una strada senza traffico con numerosi ristoranti. Abbiamo trovato il Cafe Ana un buon posto dove mangiare e bere dato che è situato in un posto piacevole e proprio dall'altra parte della strada rispetto al mercato coperto. Infine, se decidi di raggiungere a piedi il ponte Elisabetta dall'hotel, preparati a incontrare molto traffico lungo il percorso, è più lontano di quanto pensi e non molto piacevole in una giornata calda.

Questo hotel, anche se un po' datato, era molto pulito e adeguato alle nostre esigenze ed era un posto dove riposarsi dopo una giornata di esplorazione. Eravamo a circa un miglio e mezzo a piedi dal ponte verso Pest. Abbiamo scelto di camminare e di non usare i mezzi pubblici, il che significa che ci siamo imbattuti in posti meravigliosi che forse ci saremmo persi se avessimo usato i mezzi pubblici. Uno di questi, non troppo lontano dall'hotel era Il Giardino della Filosofia sulla collina Gellert. Abbiamo prenotato solo la camera e abbiamo fatto colazione a buffet in hotel in due occasioni a un prezzo ragionevole. L'hotel aveva un piccolo frigorifero in camera, un set per la preparazione di tè e caffè, asciugamani e asciugacapelli. C'erano cuscini extra disponibili e la nostra camera era situata in posizione tranquilla sul retro dell'albergo. Il signore che ci ha fatto il check-in è stato cordiale e cordiale nonostante fosse notte fonda e ci ha informato che l'hotel non serviva il pranzo o la cena durante il nostro soggiorno. Questo è stato deludente e piuttosto scomodo la seconda notte quando eravamo stanchi e non avevamo voglia di avventurarci di nuovo in città. Abbiamo preso un paio di panini dal garage dall'altra parte della strada ma erano piuttosto tristi! Non sono sicuro che questo sia lo standard dell'hotel o solo una tantum. Hanno organizzato un ricevimento di nozze mentre eravamo lì, il che era molto rumoroso fino a mezzanotte circa, ma a parte questo è un hotel tranquillo. Non siamo stati informati di una sauna che vedo pubblicizzare. Ritorneremmo nuovamente in questo hotel se avessimo la fortuna di visitare nuovamente Budapest.

I booked this hotel as part of a package deal. The options on offer were limited, and this one seemed the "best" of the bunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout out stay, but I wouldn't stay here again for various reasons. The main one being the location. The hotel faces a very busy and noisy flyover, which isn't apparent when you book it. You need to take buses to get anywhere, or walk for up to an hour to get to either the Buda castle area, or the Pest side. However, there are buses you can get from around the corner, which take 10-15 mins to get to the heart of the city. My room was a decent enough size, and the bathroom had a nice, high-pressured shower. The decor is very dated and it's comical to think that Mediterran bills itself as a four-star hotel. No complaints about tidiness, but noise was an issue. Our room was located towards the back of the hotel, so we avoided the motorway noise. However, directly outside out window was a massive external air conditioning unit which constantly made insane amounts of noise. On top of this, our room had an adjoining door to the room next door. This was locked but we could still hear everything happening in our neighbour's room. The door itself was thin and the guy kept leaning against/near it and having very loud phone conversations several nights in a row. These phone calls lasted for up to two hours, so we didn't end up properly getting to sleep until after midnight. There are no restaurants nearby, except a bar/restaurant around the corner, which the hotel staff recommended. However, we gave this a skip as the Google reviews were awful, and we'd much rather dine in the city centre. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here, even if you get a good rate as you'll end up paying for several bus fares to get anywhere, or walking up loads of hills/stairs for ages.

Spacious rooms and bedding was spotless. Decor is a bit dated and only appeared to be one member of staff on after breakfast. Location is a busy road but there's good bus stops very near by taking you straight into town centre. Basic hotel we did try breakfast one morning but it was not the best selection.

We arrived at the hotel at about 11 am, shocked to see that it was about 15 steps from the main entrance to a very busy main road that also had a flyover, which caused a lot of road noise breakfast was lukewarm scrambled egg lukewarm sausages and half cooked so called crispy bacon the room was spotlessly clean The coffee and tea were very sparse The bar was very quiet because the night manager had to book people in, so he couldn't serve at bar there was no background music I feel this is only a 2 star rated hotel I have worked in many a hotel as Chef and manager E Davis

The hotel is adequate but is in need of some TLC and is no way a 4 star hotel. We were on the second floor right at the front and the traffic noise was absolutely awful. As the hotel is situated on a busy road the traffic continues through the night so we didn't get much sleep.

This hotel is clean and the breakfast is good value. A good range of fresh hot and cold food. The staff were helpful and check in was efficient. Unfortunately as our room was right at the front it was far too noisy! We used taxis to get around mainly.
