Hotel vicini a United Welsh Church, Blackstone a Brisbane

Essendo un habitué dell'Evolution e prendendo in simpatia l'hotel nel suo insieme, specialmente il personale notturno che era sempre accogliente, caloroso e gentile, il mio viaggio più recente l'ha completamente cambiato. Io e il mio compagno abbiamo prenotato insieme sul mio conto (dato che viaggio regolarmente i miei premi sono più alti) ma abbiamo pagato con la sua carta. Normalmente ricevo un upgrade gratuito alla mia camera ma in questo caso volevo renderlo speciale, pagando un extra per una camera con vista. Avevamo una piccola camera d'angolo (niente come le camere in cui ero stato prima) e con nostra delusione senza vista. Ho chiesto questo e nonostante fossi in grado di mostrare gli extra pagati mi ha detto che tecnicamente essendo circondato e stipato tra grattacieli commerciali, era una ”vista sulla città”. La nostra seconda notte è andata a sud senza disturbare nessun altro residente lì né il personale dell'hotel, tuttavia come un modo per abusare ulteriormente di me, ha chiamato l'hotel e senza alcun preavviso è stato buttato fuori. Non solo hanno ignorato i chiari segni di un partner che cercava di causare problemi al coniuge, ma l'hanno permesso e mi hanno minacciato con la polizia dopo aver cercato di contestare la questione. Ho intenzione di approfondire la questione.

Piccole camere nel centro città molto vicino alla stazione di Roma Street, ideali per viaggiatori in treno e visitatori a breve termine. Non va bene per le famiglie. Buoni ristoranti e caffè nelle vicinanze con il CBD una breve passeggiata in discesa. Molte camere dispongono di piccoli balconi per l'aria fresca.

La posizione geografica dell'hotel è molto buona. L'altra parte del palco è il Royal Plant Park. La piscina è grande al primo piano. Il servizio è buono

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Vantaggi: il prezzo è economico, l'ambiente generale della stanza è piacevole, puoi anche vedere la vista sul fiume ed è comodo viaggiare. Al piano terra c'è un ristorante cinese molto delizioso. Svantaggi: Le strutture sono relativamente generali e anche il servizio è molto generale. Ad esempio, se l'asciugatrice è rotta, devo chiamare qualcuno per ripararla e non ho nemmeno il telefono in camera. Devo usare il mio cellulare per fare una chiamata alla reception. Non ho nemmeno un attaccapanni in camera... Se voglio uno shampoo la sera, devo andare alla reception a prenderlo. e molti altri…

La mia stanza era molto pulita e servita quotidianamente. La gente gentile che si allontana dalla strada per aiutare con qualsiasi domanda. La cena può essere ordinata dalla comodità della vostra stanza e consegnata alla vostra stanza. La mia stanza ha una TV che si può vedere nel letto, che tutti i motel dovrebbero avere, a mio parere.

Tutto è buono, tranne che la mia carta di credito è erroneamente pagata per 37 au dollar 10minute dopo il check-out, quindi devo tornare all'hotel per parlare con la reception. Mi ha detto che è un errore dal sistema che mi fa sentire turbato come se non avessi ricevuto il messaggio dalla mia carta di credito o non avessi prestato attenzione al messaggio immediatamente sarei chiamato dall'hotel per nessun motivo ....so ora devo controllare di nuovo con la mia banca quando torno a casa per assicurarmi che questa somma non venga pagata sulla mia carta che mi sta sprecando il tempo.

Stayed here for a couple of months for work nearby. Had a great reception from staff. very friendly, helpful and inviting. Which remained throughout my visit, nothing was too much trouble, always helpful. Room was perfect, city skyline view at night from the balcony was great. Room facilities gave me all I needed for cooking and storage. Cleanliness was outstanding across whole property. Car parking secure. I love early morning walks and this was an easy stretch to the river for exercise. I think they even ordered perfect weather for me. Great hotel, well done 😊

非常滿意的酒店，下次如果還來布裏斯班一定再住這裏。我們的房間在71樓，景觀非常好。有兩個卧室，一個廳，一間小書房，一個小廚房，兩個衛生間，一個洗衣隔間，很寬敞。廚房有烤箱，微波爐，洗碗機，鍋，盤子，碗，餐具，炒菜鏟子，刀，砧板，甚至還有洗碗海綿和抹布，洗碗粉。如果要自己做飯，買食材和調料就行，還可以問前台要電飯煲。洗衣間有洗衣機，烘乾機，臟衣籃，還提供一瓶洗衣液，夠一次的量吧。出門在外能有洗衣機太幸福了。樓下出門右手邊就是一家cafe，解決早餐完全沒問題。位置也好，我們去了幾個市內的景點，市政廳，皇後街，南岸公園，都是步行可達。離Roma station很近，在那裡坐車去考拉園，還有去機場都可以。買張go card，下載my translink app，可以很方便規劃公共交通，也可以顯示票價。走的時候打了輛DiDi，40多澳元，比三個人坐air train便宜。

An older Sofitel compared to some others I stay at as a an Accor Platinum member but my experiences have all been quite postive when I stay here. Staff as usual were very friendly and helpful which is what brings me back to Accot hotels, and the fact my room is almost always ready early. Quite a large hotel with a few different options for food and drinks. The breakfast is quite good, alot of options and plenty of room to sit and relax. The gym is on the smallish side but nice pool and amenities. My King room was quite dated badly in need of a renovation but its quite big and the bed was comfortable. Parking can be a bit difficult at times. The location is very convenient if you are coming by train and its only 5 minutes walk into the CBD. Overall a good hotel and experience.
