UUtente ospitei stayed in another room but surely it was the same experience as everyone else i guess, accessible to everything, safe to stay and the amenities are excellent... just realized before i checked out, the drinks at the bar was not that expensive, maybe because it's local rate and we are in the philippines... idk, i'm just used to see skyrocket prices of everythinv when you dine in a 4/5 star hotels

MMai Berckmans1. The place is clean. It is fairly new. It works for us. However for folks who wish daily room service, change of towels and tidy of space, maybe you could ask the friendly staff.
2. Decent distance to and from the airport and it is nicely tucked in a residential neighborhood. Unfortunately we didn't walk around.
3 & 4. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. You have your basics. Shampoo, soap, towel, clean sheets/bed, free filtered water from the ground floor, aircon and hot water for shower. If you avail of the breakfast, you get a free mix coffee and 2 nice loyal bread. Word of caution, they don't have lifts. WiFi is the area of improvement as it is slightly slow or disconnects often.
In general, a good choice for the price you pay.

SSashidheiI arrived at the Hotel around 10 o'clock in the evening, the staff was nice and i was able to check in right away. it was a smooth checked in, from a long flight. and also i was surprised that they upgraded my room into a Deluxe room. The room is wide and clean, im also happy that they have hot and cold water. I highly recommend this hotel and probably i will comeback again. ❤
P.S Though its not soundproof , i heard some noise outside or in the other room.

UUtente ospiteHotel location is perfect. Walking distance to People’s Park (5mins), Bangkerohan (7mins), San Pedro Cathedral and Osmena Park (15mins). Nearby Mercury drug store which opens until 10pm.
24/7 McDo and Greenwich. 5min drive to Roxas Night Market. May jeep na dumadaan sa tapat ng hotel but most of the jeepney drivers don’t know the Gov Duterte St. mas familiar sa kanila ang Ilustre St. then walk towards to hotel which is 2mins lang.
Lunch and dinner buffet is being offered, daming waiting.
Hotel is not recommended para sa maaarte. Luma na ang establishment at mahina ang toilet flush, no bidet. Provided ang pail and dipper.
Mahina din ang aircon but enough to make a room cool temperature.
No hair dryer and hand towel. Only body towel, soap and shampoo/conditioner are their toiletries.

YYkhca_TravelsSiamo arrivati un po’ tardi nella nostra prima notte e siamo stati abbienti in modo scorretto. Dopo un lungo giorno di viaggio, abbiamo incontrato diverse questioni con le nostre strutture. Ho prenotato due camere, aspettando che fossero vicine, ma non è così. Come famiglia che viaggia insieme, abbiamo chiesto di avere le nostre camere swap per essere più vicine, ma ci è stato permesso solo di aggiungere un letto extra. Questo non era ideale, soprattutto perché mia madre non poteva stare da sola in una stanza per 6-8 persone, per cui io avevo già pagato.
Quando ho parlato al dipartimento frontale, che credo fosse il direttore in carica all'epoca, il suo tono era sgradevole e non era empatico per noi come ospiti; era una negoziazione deludente. Abbiamo discusso anche di questioni connesse alla connessione a Internet, e lei sembrava insultare, suggerendo che non si potesse fare altro che pagare per un piano di dati, per il quale fornirebbero un modem.
Dopo aver soggiornato in molti hotel e essere un manager di hotel, posso dire chiaramente che il nostro servizio era inadeguato.

MMs. HayleyFrom the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help. 
We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests. 
One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. 
Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property. 
Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility. 
That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects. 
Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality.
In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. For those planning a trip to Davao, whether quick or extended, this hotel is a solid bet.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è davvero buona se si vuole andare in giro intorno alla città di Davao Chiudi il centro commerciale e gli ospiti sono amichevole, gentile, rispettoso.
Il cibo dal buffet è davvero buono. La piscina è rilassante Buona per i bambini a chillare dal caldo tempo fuori.
Forse solo pulire un po'la finestra cortina coz è un po'polvere, l'esperienza generale è fantastica.

UUtente ospiteAs a couple we chose to stay at grand regal hotel davao from dec. 31, 25 to jan. 2, 26. We did not enjoy as we expect. The room service for food they served it cold, we call on the telephone for several time to carry out our order then they served it an hour and the food was cold. The breakfast buffet are all cold besides we go down to eat at exact time 6:30am. The amenities like gym are open but not functioning. I only enjoy the swimming pool as a total.
