A truly memorable traditional Japanese experience. This is a very traditional Japanese hotel where we had the opportunity to experience staying in a tatami-style room for the first time. It was a unique and enjoyable experience for our family, and one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The onsen was particularly impressive and was ranked by my family as the best among all the hotels we stayed at during our journey. The hotel enjoys a beautiful location directly in front of Lake Akan, allowing us to wake up to stunning lake views in the morning. The peaceful surroundings create a sense of serenity and make it a perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is also very convenient. The Lake Akan sightseeing cruise is located right next to the hotel, while the Ainu Village, shops, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Our stay included a traditional Japanese-style dinner, which was a completely new experience for us. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. Breakfast was also included, giving us the opportunity to sample a variety of Japanese dishes. Overall, this was a unique and unforgettable stay that allowed us to experience traditional Japanese culture, hospitality, and cuisine in a beautiful lakeside setting.

This hotel is very new, local next to the bus terminal and actually part of the hotel is used for the bus office / terminal. They provide free drinks (including alcohol) from 3pm to 9pm in the restaurant, enjoy when it is available. The breakfast has a limited choice, but it is a buffet. The public bath is shared between men and women with time slots. Around 300 yen for washing but drying is free. The room was rather small but they put a huge double decker bed with a king size bed in the bottom, it was a comfortable sleep but not much room to move in the room. Key is using a number lock system which is quite interesting. A super huge TV in the room mounted to the wall. My room is facing east and I able to see sunrise in the morning. Note that there are quite a few pot holes from the train station to the hotel. During that day, when I move my luggage to the hotel, the wheels get stuck into a new filled pot hole and travellers need to be aware.

Mi piace che la stanza abbia un bagno separato e un bagno separato. Il bacino è fuori, questo è più conveniente. Ci divertivamo ogni sera. Ho fatto la lavanderia qui, e il asciugacapelli è buono. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options—it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The accommodation was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and plenty of eateries, making it easy to find food and do some shopping. Although parking is available for a fee, it was convenient and easy to access. Overall, I absolutely loved this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit!
