Hotel con colazione a Cambridge

A very nice place to park yourself when visiting Cambridge due to its great location (next to St John’s & River Cam) and good shopping and dining options all within 5-10 mins walk. Rooms are decent size with well stocked kitchen. Best of all they have a gym, washing & drying facilities and a lively and lovely dining area with a super bar.  Very friendly staff and a  shout out to Suhas at reception who looked after us during our stay. It’s also a location where many Uni students frequent to revise and chill, right next to the Cambridge Students’ Union building

It is close to Cambridge university and quite convenient to anywhere you wanna visit, the room is lovely with Cam river view. The stuff are all kind and supportful, I have to give my biggest thanks to stuff Emma who is so nice and unforgettable . Will absolutely choose this hotel next time when i am in Cambridge .

We stayed to start silver wedding anniversary celebration. We were going to a concert in Cambridge. The hotel nailed it. Beautiful, we were upgraded, and the room was stunning

Molto bella camera e buone strutture. Abbiamo usato la palestra e la sauna durante la sera solo per adulti (7-10pm). L'hotel è vicino alla stazione di autobus e la nostra camera ha buone viste. Il personale è amichevole e ci facciamo vedere intorno, compresi i servizi per la colazione, per decidere se lo vogliamo o no.

La notte scorsa, il coni d'aria non funzionava nelle mie 2 camere, mi hanno detto che tutti i coni d'aria nelle camere dell'hotel sono giù. Ci hanno compensato con uno sconto sul soggiorno e ci hanno mandato fan, ma non è davvero un piacevole soggiorno a causa della stuffinezza nella stanza.

There is no elevator, so will need to carry luggages up the staircase. Although it is stated as a hotel, but there are no amenities except a car park. The kettle was extremely dirty, the host did not allow us to change the kettle.

Abbiamo avuto una bella stanza. Ottimo luogo per andare al Museo Aeronautico di Duxford o per treno a Cambridge. Noi guidavamo, quindi pagavamo 10 sterline per il parcheggio di notte. Pensavo che sarebbe stato ok, come se non avessimo una macchina, allora avremmo avuto il vantaggio di non pagare quella tassa. Il colazione era buono. Anche se il servizio al colazione era davvero povero, non penso al personale che era in servizio, ma la mancanza di personale, quindi forse un problema di gestione. Quando siamo andati al colazione non c'era una sola tavola pulita disponibile. Dovevamo spostare le cose usate da una tavola pulita da me stessa, siamo stati li' in circa 20 minuti, e ho visto le cose che erano state lasciate su altre tavole rimanere lì, e quelle che avevo spostato restavano anche io. Non c'era abbastanza cuttery fuori - ho chiesto di più, e ho sentito gli altri fare lo stesso più tardi. Mi sentivo caotico. Non era abbastanza personale - il ricevitore stava aiutando anche con la colazione. Anche se la stanza era buona in termini di strutture, dimensioni, pulizia, la doccia aveva un grande problema. Era una camera bagnata, che era buona, ma stranamente il pavimento sembrava sbagliare (che mi accorsi più tardi) come l'acqua dal doccia si diffuse in tutta la camera da bagno, mi soffocavano i vestiti che avrei lasciato al punto più lontano (in nessun luogo, eccetto sul pavimento) e quasi entrava sotto la porta nella stanza stessa. Non c'era nessuno di quei lavastoviglie che spesso si trovava in una stanza bagnata per lavare il pavimento, quindi anche se si stava lentamente abbassando il buco di pioggia, l'intero pavimento del bagno era molto bagnato, e dovevo usare i guanti per asciugarlo un po'. L'ho menzionato come denuncia al destinatario; lei ha appena detto che lo avrebbe trasmesso. Un bel hotel in una buona posizione, le questioni che ho menzionato spero saranno ordinate.

I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes. It was a 45 min walk from the Centre of Cambridge along Mill Road or you can get the No 2 bus that costs £3. It was a pleasant walk. The reception staff were very helpful and check in was quick. The room had a good temperature and it was cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle, TV and an iron. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings. The hot breakfast was ok. The Coffee was Ok there were a range of pastries and muffins all Ok. There were a lot of poor behaved people with a lot of ill behaved children in the breakfast area. Overall I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was very quiet. The images provided are of the room and view from the window, the walk to the hotel. I hope they are helpful.

The room was very tidy and nice. They had all the amenities, including soap, body wash, shampoo, tea, and instant coffee. They even had coffee pots. Towels were changed everyday too. There is no hair dryer, but they gave me enough towel to dry my long hair thoroughly though. The room I stayed was an attic room, with slanted ceiling, but I loved it because I could see the sky. There were blinders too, so the sun in the morning was not a worry for me. The room looks very much like a dorm, so there was a table that I can work on, with closet that I can hang my suits on too. It wasn't the cleanest, it had some spider webs in the corner of the room, but they were really in the corner and I was staying only to sleep, so it didn't bother me as much. I would definitely recommend the place for business travelers looking for a cheap accommodation in the middle of Cambridge University.

Sono rimasto qui molte volte e mi sono davvero divertito, ma questa volta non è stato così grande, c'era un enorme divario sotto la porta, lasciando incarichi di luce dal corridoio così dovevo ruotare un asciugamano sul blocco del divario. Ci sono di solito le mutandine, ma non questa volta abbiamo avuto 2 mutandine molto piatte, quindi non si è addormentato bene.
