Hotel con colazione a Zhaoqing

Lika Wang did a good job at helping me check in and picking up my Taobao packages. Room was clean, robes and towels fluffy, bed and pillows soft and clean, balcony rail was wiped (saw them sipping it). Room has nice art work based on local geography, floor lag does not get soaked because there’s a lip beneath shower door, there’s a scale and a hair dryer, coffee pods (no creamer) and basic tea. Pool gym are both clean with towels. Lounge is ok, but refreshments and drinks very limited, didn’t have time to try their actual tea time. Breakfast has EXCELLENT EGG CHOICES (well labelled as over easy etc) with omelettes, sausages were good quality, bacon was ok, Chinese rice noodles were dried out but congee selection was good. But breakfast areas were crowded but they did try to put extra seating outside the restaurant. Cleaning staff consistently remembered to greet guests. Chinese restaurant had good roast duck, fresh shrimps but service was slow and lacked eloquence. Overall pretty well designed hotel, with staff that have good attitude. But like many hotels, it’s the training that may need improvement. Areas for improvement: 1. air conditioning insufficient in lobby and hallways,(avoid automatic doors and add curtains to save ac if needed ) 2. Fitness centre desk staff a bit slow and lacks training, more water machines needed, 3. Doorman didn’t always help with luggage and didn’t consistently open doors, (but they were often outside in the heat, tried to help and were ready to help) 4. Restaurant staff put in good effort, but you need more staff or faster staff. 5. Breakfast wasn’t replenished fast enough, salad bar could be improved with more choices, (Japanese dressing was always low) hash browns could be added and the coffee beans weren’t that good but the machine was good. 6. Management staff need to be on site more supervising and greeting. 7. Concierge staff could be more active at greeting and directing. 8. Some live piano music or some more music to enhance lobby would be better. Nonetheless all of the staff overall are better than average, and show good attitude and willingness. The most impressive was the attention to detail with shower door lip, local art work, breakfast egg selection, very comfortable bed, and good congee selection.

Great place and the front desk was super friendly. The young man in the evening also gave us a great recommendation for roast pidgeon. Docking one point from cleanliness because the nonsmoking rooms still slightly smell like smoke, but otherwise great.

La posizione di questo hotel è molto conveniente. È a circa 15 minuti a piedi dal mercato Tian Guang Xu Jade. E da lì Yu Bo Cheng è appena oltre. Il servizio è lodevole qui. Il personale è molto amichevole e utile. Mi hanno insegnato a navigare le applicazioni di Didi e ******* e mi hanno dato alcuni consigli e suggerimenti utili. Ho chiesto un frigo che l'hotel non ha. Il personale dell'hotel, invece, ha portato in camera mia un frigo portatile, e mi ha sorpreso piacevolmente il gesto. L'hotel è di una certa età, ma le camere sono pulite. La colazione è semplice con una buona varietà e deliziosa. La mia proposta è che mettano un frigo nella stanza perché l'estate potrebbe essere molto caldo. Sono impressionato con il Servizio qui. Sono sicuro che tornerò e rimarrò se vado a Sihui.

La posizione è vicina al 7 Craig Lake. Ma camminare lontano al quartiere principale. Personale amichevole, molto pulito. Se la piscina fosse attiva sarebbe un 5/5. Avrei consigliato questo hotel.

Truly excellent service from the Front Desk staff on duty when we checked in on 6/1/26 afternoon & checked out on 8/1/26 morning. The staff were very informative, helpful, polite & warm. Makes me smile when I think of them. The 3 staff gave the best Front Desk service in our 10-day trip in Guangdong. Comfortable rooms with windows. A well-equipped & designed laundry room. A cosy, quiet courtyard. We appreciated the pot of refreshing hot tea (a soothing & tasty combination of red dates, tangerine peel & jasmine leaves, I think) at the front lobby. Such a thoughtful & kind gesture indeed. We will stay at White Swan Guest House again when we return to Zhaoqing next year. To the Hotel Management & the 3 wonderfully warm Front Desk staff whom we think of fondly, a Big Thank You 🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻.

Molto bel piccolo hotel sul lago con uno stile giapponese. Personale amichevole e le letti non sono rock hard, che è sempre buono. Ristoranti vicino e un buon ambiente rilassato intorno.

Would have all been okay, except for the fact that we deliberately spent quite some time looking for hotels where we can explicitly book non-smoking rooms. But as we were inside, we clearly smelled cigarette smoke coming in. We realised it is coming in from the toilet ventilation system. The smell was unbearable so we went down to reception to let them know. But their reply was super incompetent, saying “oh right, I will send someone up with some air freshener”. We then told her that this will not solve the issue, and she said she will ask for the ventilator to also be checked. By the time we got up clearly someone had already been there as the whole room was then swimming in citrus air freshener. It was almost worse than the cigarette smell if that is possible. We then had to open all doors and windows trying to breathe and since it was late and we had no energy to try and complain and then move rooms still, we had to sleep in that all. Of course in the morning we again woke up to cigarette smoke drafting in, and we immediately checked out and went to find another hotel. Would never stay with the City Comfort Inn again.

Quando arrivammo, c'era un po' di confusione, ma alla fine, ci siamo fermati nella stanza che avevamo prenotato, la stanza era come un appartamento completo con la sua zona conservatrice, che ci sembrava bella. L'accento era la posizione e la vista proprio fuori, il ginormo parco urbano proprio lungo la strada. Era tutto bellissimo, abbiamo avuto un bel caffè vicino all'acqua al sole, e il proprietario ci ha portati in macchina per scoprire il centro della città.Alla fine il proprietario ci ha portato di nuovo con le valigie alla stazione ferroviaria. Ci piaceva assolutamente stare qui. Solo in basso, direi, sono stati gli asciugamani a uso unico, che non erano molto efficaci, e in secondo luogo, un orribile rifiuti per l'ambiente. (Su un'altra piccola nota sulle camere, se temete che gli ospiti non vogliano la camera più conveniente e insistete sul loro aggiornamento, fate l'impressione di aver sbagliato l'ospite durante la prenotazione. Noi personalmente lo avremmo amato, ma siamo abbastanza E' stato sorpreso di averlo ridotto per noi all'arrivo, perché è troppo piccolo e troppo alto. Non era troppo alto e la dimensione era buona, forse una piccola pulizia delle finestre e un upgrade del design interno potrebbe fare il posto buono).

Anche se Zhaoqing è un bel luogo di trasporto da Kaiping è stato praticamente inesistente. Quasi abbiamo svanito l'idea di visitare finché non abbiamo scoperto che potremmo transitare e passare in un autobus da Jiangmen. Purtroppo abbiamo colpito anche un altro colpo alla stazione di autobus Zhaoqing perché non c'era nessun trasporto pubblico nella zona di 7 Star Crags dove si trova l'hotel. Tuttavia, la bella signora proprietaria è venuta al salvataggio e ci ha raccolti. Quanto è cool? La signora capo è il secondo a nessuno. Era estremamente utile - suggerendo posti per cibo e attrazioni e anche l'ordine di farli. Certamente la parte migliore di rimanere qui è lei. Ma anche il suo soggiorno è grande. È molto ben situato davanti al bellissimo lago famoso, in modo da poter catturare facilmente il tramonto e le scene di sollevamento del sole. In retrospettiva, avremmo dovuto rimanere almeno un'altra notte.Forse ci riuniremo?
