Hotel con colazione a Taitung

I didn’t fully realize what I booked until I got there, but it was a good experience. Rooms a very small, but functional. And walls are thin, but I sleep with earplugs anyway, so that wasn’t a problem for me. Otherwise it was a nice experience to sleep in a traditional style house.

It’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own. Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around. The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam. Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning. Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

We stayed in a very clean and comfortable double deluxe room on the 6th floor. Bed was maybe a little hard, but still cosy thanks to the fantastic duvet. Our room had a decent view towards the mountains in the north-west. We paid the small extra charge for buffet breakfast when booking, and were satisfied with the choices of food available. Breakfast is taken on the 10F, and this restaurant has nice views towards the ocean.

I had a wonderful stay: perfect location in the city center, very nice and comfortable room, kind staff. They provided a voucher to have breakfast at the coffeeshop in front, or even bought breakfast for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: breakfast and available coin operated laundry on site. Cons: hard bed, 2in1 bath and shampoo, humid room It wasn’t a king size bed that I booked, rather two beds put together. I feel lied to :(

Avevo un'ottima raccomandazione per tutti i viaggiatori, soprattutto gli stranieri - mi sono sentito un auto-auto, quindi non c'era problema la posizione. Dalla mia arrivo sono stata accolta da una bella giovane donna che è venuta fuori per mostrarmi il mio spazio auto. Il suo collega, che era altrettanto carino, mi ha aiutato a controllare la mia entrata e a rendermi molto benvenuto. Mi è stato dato una mappa della zona locale e alcuni suggeriscono di mangiare punti, e hanno anche aiutato a caricare il mio telefono. Le ragazze parlavano abbastanza inglese per aiutarmi, e il colazione in un caffè vicino era grande. La stanza era esattamente quello che mi serviva - una stanza molto pulita, un letto confortevole e una doccia calda. Io resterò di nuovo la prossima volta che visiterò bellissimo Taiwan.

La Camera Relax in Green Island, Taiwan, offre un soggiorno incredibilmente accogliente, a partire da un servizio di arrivo eccellente. Sono molto grato che si offrano di portare il bagaglio direttamente al luogo, e avere qualcuno che ti aspetta appena uscite dalla nave rende l'arrivo completamente senza stress. La proprietà stessa è un po' difficile da trovare senza aiuto e si trova a circa un 9-minute scooter ride lontano, quindi la loro assistenza all'arrivo è sicuramente necessaria. Mentre l'ospite è molto amichevole, gli inglesi dovrebbero tenere presente che c'è un po' di barriera linguistica. Potrebbe essere utile un po' di miglioramento, perché è un po' difficile ottenere aiuto inglese o raccomandazioni locali, ma è ancora un posto meraviglioso per rimanere se si viene preparati con un'app di traduzione.

Il parcheggio è conveniente - proprio fuori dall'hotel, dal suo seminterrato o da un parcheggio aperto all'opuscolo. La camera è molto spaziosa e due bagagli a pieno dimensione possono essere aperti confortevolmente con spazio a piedi ampio. Il bagno è grande anche. Il pane e il caffè/tea/succhi sono disponibili 24 ore. La macchina di vendita istantanea è disponibile anche. Non c'è negozio di comodità intorno all'hotel. Durante il colazione è disponibile una vasta gamma di cibi - porridge con condimenti, cibo cotto, tosta, frutta, salate ecc. La vista che la stanza deve offrire è del tutto piacevole!

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.
