"Excellent little boutique hotel on Dawan bay. Sparkling clean, excellent beds and linens, balcony with table and chairs, elevator. Best thing though is the sizable bathroom with a claw-footed bathtub that looks out over the bay if you keep the curtains open."

The Formost Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Formost Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Pingtung for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is located approximately 43km from Fangshan Station. Fangshan Station is approximately 43km away by road. With multiple attractions nearby including Kenting Night Market, Big Bay Beach and Frog Rock Marine Recreation Park, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic.

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

SStaycationBearyFrom arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!
P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

UUtente ospiteIo andavo con mia madre che andava a Taiwan per la prima volta. La posizione di questo posto era vicino alla spiaggia e un bel ristorante che ci piaceva anche se era un po' fuori dalla strada dalle grandi città turistiche (ci siamo appena preso l'autobus o un taxi quando dovevamo vedere le vite). Erano riparando mentre eravamo li', perche' era la lenta stagione, così ha profumito un po' come un dipinto che disturbava mia madre, ma non posso colpevolmente. Una bella signora che ci ha curati così bene mentre era lì e ci ha lasciato prendere la nostra stanza perché aveva molte aperte al momento in cui era sorprendente. Parliamo di viaggio e di ogni altro argomento, e lei è stata così gentile e utile ogni passo.

GGloriaaaL'hotel è molto grande, pochi posti a sedere, le strutture non sono nuove ma molto conosciute per le vacanze. È stato organizzato per soggiornare in camera doppia. La stanza è molto grande e confortevole. Quando si accede, è stato detto che la stanza contiene colazione gratuita e cena. È molto calcolato. La spiaggia privata è molto pulita. È possibile uscire direttamente dalla spiaggia dalla stanza, La prossima volta vivremo ancora qualche giorno.

FFerfer8Familia di 5: Camera da letto è grande con 3 letti per 5 di noi, balcone si apre direttamente dalla spiaggia, si può camminare a piedi in 2-3mins(recommandato per guardare il risalto e il giardino). Nota che la sabbia della spiaggia è buia e non la sabbia bianca, ma ancora morbida e adatta per giocare. Bagno era enorme, aveva un bagno e 2 bagni. Grande clima di raffreddamento sulla spiaggia anche nel dicembre, l'acqua del mare non era troppo fredda. Grande per andare lungo la spiaggia mattina e sera. Visitelo di nuovo!

La piscina non era in servizio nel dicembre. Non molte opzioni alimentari da 6-7pm, il ristorante dell'hotel si chiude presto. Il negozio di comodità 7-11 era una distanza passeggiabile in abt 7-8 min. Facile da camminare lì sullo stesso lato della strada per ottenere qualche cibo.

UUtente ospiteVery nice place to stay. It seems newly built or renovated and it was very clean. We had a great room with a balcony.
Staff is super friendly and really went the extra mile to help us, despite a slight language barrier (they were able to communicate all relevant information in English to us). There was free coffee, tea, and snacks available (including snacks from the island).
You may choose between a pre-made breakfast at the hotel or vouchers for a breakfast at a take away place that’s a five-minute scooter drive away. We choose the latter - it’s a nice local experience, a bit of a challenge for non-Chinese speakers such as ourselves, so if you don’t want to figure it out, the pre-made breakfast might be a better option.
You can also rent an e-scooter here, which is nice but do keep in mind that it’s silent - so other people in traffic may not hear you. We had no problems but I noticed some people crossing that seemed to have no idea we were passing. A plus is that you can change the battery for free at several points on the island.

Prima sono venuto a un pirata. Penso che il suono dell'aria condizionata fredda nella stanza sia molto tranquillo. Non influenzera' affatto la qualità del sonno. La stanza di scena della strada ha una piccola balcone. Il condizionamento dell'aria condizionata è ancora molto tranquillo. Esce a viaggiare. Devo davvero riposare.
La porta dell'hotel può vedere il panorama del mare e il tramonto della baia, dietro la strada di Jingding. È molto conveniente per noi prestare attenzione alle vacanze.
Il pirata fornisce un buono per la colazione, che è un pasto al ristorante di un altro edificio dell'hotel. È molto semplice, ma dovrebbe essere tutto.
