We stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning. The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming. They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere. I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach. Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold. When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork. I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! The hostel is beautifully decorated and feels super modern but also nice and cosy. It is very clean and peaceful in the evenings, but is only a minutes walk away from the shops and the Main Street, and only ten minutes from the beach and the ferry! The two girls working on reception were incredibly kind and really friendly and happy to chat and help with anything. They were the highlight of my stay. You can rent snorkels from them too. I would 10/10 recommend this hostel to anyone!

Fu Bin met my needs very well. Very welcoming staff, who are a family. They did laundry for me and gave me hangers to dry, and they didn't want to charge for the laundry. That saved me valuable time and made my first trip to Kenting better utilised. Everything at Fu Bin was as described, and they supplied a bowl and cutlery very promptly. It's easy to communicate with the staff by WhatsApp (or wechat, i can't remember) if you don't want to go downstairs. For the price I feel the facilities are fine. No lift, limited view of the night market, decent air con, but I didn't need it all the time anyway. They were relaxed but efficient, and this made me feel more relaxed. I walked to the lovely small beach for swimming, 10 minutes past the night market and in front of Caesar Hotel. The NM is fairly typical of Taiwan and not as co gestsd as the HK ones. I felt well priced for ”Western” currency (£) although TW people are not using Kenting for holidays so much these days. I swum at sunset for the first two days and early morning the third day. It's the best beach I have encountered in 60 years! The Caesar outdoors bar has some groovy music in the evenings, and I recommend having a drink there to finish your sunset swim. It's clean and idyllic. Overall, my experience of Kenting was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful people, great facilities and beautiful flora and fauna. The history and places of indigenous people are worth checking out, especially if you have your own transport. I hope business is good for you all. Tsiu tsiu!

My overall experience staying at the beachfront hotel was relaxing and memorable. The location was its biggest advantage — just a few steps away from the shoreline/port, offering breathtaking ocean views and easy access to morning walks and sunset scenery. The soothing sound of the waves and the cool sea breeze made the atmosphere peaceful and refreshing.

Ho prenotato la camera il giorno stesso del mio arrivo e ho trovato la camera più economica per un giorno feriale a poco più di 700 yuan. Sebbene la camera non avesse una finestra esterna, era molto pulita e spaziosa. Il bagno aveva una doccia e un WC separati, il che era fantastico. La reception era aperta dalle 9:00 alle 19:00, quindi era comodo lasciare i bagagli se arrivavo in anticipo. C'era anche un distributore d'acqua al primo piano. Nelle vicinanze c'erano ristoranti di barbecue raggiungibili a piedi, il che era molto comodo. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, e prenoterei sicuramente di nuovo la prossima volta.

Era proprio vicino alla fermata dell'autobus, quindi era comodo per spostarsi. Era anche vicino all'oceano, quindi ci andavo tutti i giorni per vedere il tramonto. Quando sono tornato dopo il tramonto, il mercato notturno era già aperto, quindi ho cenato lì. C'è un Family Mart al piano di sotto, quindi è comodo perché ci si può arrivare facilmente se si ha bisogno di qualcosa. Ci sono stati alcuni giorni in cui pioveva e c'era vento, probabilmente a causa del tifone, ma ho potuto guardare film e anime giapponesi in TV e trascorrere la giornata rilassandomi nella mia stanza. È stato un peccato aver incontrato uno scarafaggio solo una volta.
