Quando sono arrivato in questo hotel all'inizio della mattina, mi sono sentito davvero confuso, chiedendomi se tutti i negozi circostanti e altri hotel fossero chiusi. Non solo non è stata la stagione turistica di picco, ma anche la situazione economica potrebbe essere sfavorevole, il che probabilmente l'ha spiegato. Quando sono arrivato all'hotel troppo presto, non sono ancora pronte le camere. Quindi ho lasciato il mio bagaglio con l'hotel prima e ho preparato un giro sulla strada occidentale del Monte Baekdu. Quando sono tornato, il mio bagaglio era già stato posto nella stanza che mi era stata assegnata. La stanza era pulita, ma quando mi svegliai al mattino e aprii le tende, il brillante flusso di sole in camera mi fece sentire incredibilmente rinfrescato. An Exceptional Stay of Warmth and Hospitality My stay here was, in a word, amazing. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt farewell, every aspect was defined by a level of personal care and hospitality that truly sets this place apart.The beautiful, peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop. Stepping into our room, we were delighted to find it lovely, spacious, and wonderfully warm—a cozy and immaculate retreat after a day of adventure. Waking up to the provided hearty Chinese breakfast was a daily highlight, offering delicious, authentic flavors that fueled our days perfectly. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable were the owners. Their kindness went far beyond the expected. They were incredibly helpful with booking our activities, offering expert local advice. Most extraordinarily, they personally drove us to places in their own car, transforming simple logistics into cherished personal tours and conversations. This genuine, above-and-beyond service created a feeling of staying with friends or family, not just at a hotel. Overall, this is more than just a place to sleep; it's a haven of personal hospitality. If you are looking for beautiful comfort, fantastic food, and hosts who truly make you feel at home, look no further. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely return.

Impression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com. Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area. Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring. Pros: 1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty. 2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money. 3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English. 4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes. Cons: 1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids. 2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

Tornato a questo hotel dopo 2 anni. Molto pulito, confortevole e situato proprio davanti a 1 della pista sciistica. Le staffe dell'hotel erano amichevole e forniscono un buon servizio. L'hotel è stato dotato di lavastoviglie e asciugamani che ci hanno offerto molte comodità. Anche se c'è una distanza dal centro del Resort & centro sciistico principale, ci sono stati autobus a disposizione ogni mezz'ora per arrivare e uscire. Molto raccomandato, poiché il prezzo è ragionevole tra il resto e il valore aggiunto è l'hotel fornito esperienze sci gratuite e primavera calda.

Il mio primo soggiorno al parco Hyatt Changbaishan, e non potevo essere più felice con l’esperienza. Il servizio di butler era davvero eccezionale, e un grido speciale a Roma, che andò sopra e oltre per rendere la nostra permanenza memorabile. Era incredibilmente attenta e pensativa, ci aiutava a organizzare il trasporto e anche a rimandare una parcella in Malaysia. Eravamo qui per una festa di compleanno e ci sorprendeva con un aggiornamento della stanza gratuita, che rendeva il viaggio ancora più speciale. Il cibo dell'hotel è stato delizioso e confortevole, anche se speriamo di avere una maggiore varietà in futuro. Uno dei miglioramenti è che sarebbe bello avere una mappa per rendere la zona più turistica. Ci sono molti negozi intorno all'hotel, ma non l'abbiamo realizzato fino a dopo lo sci.
