There is a little Mexican market within walking distance, just in case you need anything during your stay. It has a history of being a boutique, a hardware store, and a beloved toy shop but has now been renovated into a modern, yet original living space. The original brick and beams have been preserved in order to keep its historic charm but it has also been updated enough to provide a modern and cozy stay. The Royal Eccles House is a National Historic Landmark and was built in 1920 with impeccable craftsmanship and detail. Fully modernized in 2020 under new ownership, this 5,000 sq. ft. spacious house was designed for elegance, luxury and personal space across all three levels. Graced with original refinished hardwood floors and natural light, this 4 bedroom/4 bathroom large house offers plenty of entertainment space for both adults and kids. Beautiful modernized and fully equipped kitchen with black granite counters and gas range serve up every conceivable amenity. Although we can accommodate and sleep up to 20 guests; the sweet spot is for 10-15 guests. The main floor offers the main living room, dining room, kitchen and two master bedrooms/baths with King Size Beds and a bedrooms/bath with Queen Size Bed. Basement has the fourth bedroom which is kind of a kids bedroom with six bunk beds and a queen bed accommodating up to eight kids/teens or adults. Outdoor private Jacuzzi seats six adults and there is an outdoor natural gas BBQ as well. The private patio seats up to 15 people for beautiful outdoor parties. This property works great for large families as the main living quarters is great adult space while the kids are having fun downstairs playing games, ping pong, billiards, or watching TV/movies. Downstairs bar/kitchen is great for stocking up on food/drinks. There is also a dedicated quiet office space away from the entertainment areas with a desk and printer/scanner/copier for quiet workspace should you dare work on your vacation! Ideally located near downtown Ogden, the Ogden Amphitheater, Eccles Art Center, The Monarch, Ogden Temple, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, top restaurants, cafes, trailheads, and more, it's the perfect retreat for ski trips, weekend getaways, business stays, or a stylish home base while exploring everything Ogden has to offer.Fully renovated and thoughtfully stocked, our home offers a modern, unique, and comfortable experience for your stay.Our flat, Unit 2, is the top right apartment of a four unit building. Inside, you'll find two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with double bunk beds (Helix mattresses), and one full bathroom with a tub and shower and single vanity. A generous living room with a West Elm sectional sofa (with queen sleeper), 60" flat screen Samsung TV, big windows, and cozy sitting chairs chairs offers the perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing, exploring the city, or greater outdoors. A fully stocked kitchen with table and seating for four provides a great communal space for preparing and sharing meals. The washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen.One of the bedrooms feature a desk and chair, perfect for a laptop and remote work.Free, off-street parking is available for two cars in the parking lot located to the rear of the building in the spaces designated with the "2" signs.Guests enter the unit by walking up the front stairs and entering the front door of Unit 2. Long term tenants live in the other units and guests must be respectful of tenants.Guests have full access to the two parking spaces designated with the "2" signs.Our flat is the top right unit of a four unit building. Guests are encouraged to enjoy their stay, but pets, exceedingly loud music, and late night parties are not permitted.The ironing board and iron are located in the laundry room closet. Infant amenities including the high chair, pack 'n play, and toys and books are located in the bunk room closet.
