Hotel in zona Freedom Trail, Boston

Hotel in una posizione eccellente, comodo al centro ed allo stesso tempo in una via con non troppo passaggio di macchine. Camere ampie e pulite. Personale super gentile. Colazione non compresa nella camera, ma c’è un pub attaccato all’hotel con ottimi piatti da scegliere, anche per pranzo o cena.

This location was excellent for experiencing many of the historic sites in Boston. A short walk to Boston Common, and many great dining options within walking distance. Overnight parking is a bit steep ($60/night). The valet and front desk staff were all pleasant to speak to, respectful and kind. The room itself has one of the heaviest doors I've ever had to use in a hotel. Really takes some muscle! Despite this, the door didn't block the hallway sound, especially since we were right across from the ice maker. The room was small but not unreasonable. The bed was comfortable, and there was a refrigerator, but it was awkwardly placed on the floor next to the desk. It stuck out from the space so was odd. There was no microwave, but a shared microwave near the ice maker. There was a desk and chair, as well as a couple of drawers. The closet was small, but had an ironing board and iron, as well as a luggage holder. The bathroom was small, and had a sliding door, which we did not like at all. All sound was heard, which is not pleasant. There also was no exhaust fan. The slider into the shower was very narrow to enter. The water pressure was good, but it was very easy to get water everywhere in this bathroom. There was a good amount of counter space for us to set our things, as well as an outlet for hair products. The TV was large and worked well for us. There is no included breakfast, but there is breakfast offered onsite for a fee. We had the Saturday breakfast buffet for $26/person. We had custom made omelets, as well as waffles and bagels. Lots of options, with serving staff to bring beverages and anything else you may need. A little steep in the cost, but a good breakfast. This was our first visit to Boston, and will probably be the last one we take driving on our own, so having the option to park and walk to places was welcome.

La struttura è molto ampia e si trova a pochi passi dall'hotel. La metropolitana è un modo economico ed efficiente per raggiungere. Le camere sono spaziose e la squadra di ricezione è molto accogliente e utile. Se vuoi visitare i teatri o la città cinese, sono solo pochi minuti a piedi. Come ogni hotel ci sono dei posti a discapito .... L'opzione di colazione include non è corretta, si ottiene un premio per colazione che non copre il costo, anche il servizio di colazione può essere molto buono o molto cattivo per i 8 giorni che abbiamo soggiornato abbiamo sperimentato entrambi. La cena è buona, ma si può andare a pochi minuti a piedi. Mentre l'hotel è generalmente ben isolato per un vecchio edificio che è stato simpatico convertito in un hotel non aiuta in una notte di sabato, il locale night club è estremamente popolare con la lunga coda in strada, Il rumore è incredibile e, nonostante questo sia una verifica settimanale, le denunce degli hotel sembrano essere ignorate dalle autorità locali. Il mio consiglio è di essere preparati e accettare l'inconveniente o di evitare di rimanere in una notte di sabato, lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri hotel nelle vicinanze immediate, soprattutto quello con il club nocturno Candibar nel suo seminterrato! In generale, un buon hotel che potrebbe essere anche grande se il ristorante sul posto fosse migliorato, la lista ”compresa colazione” era correttamente formulata e le autorità locali hanno agito in merito al rumore insociabile. La mia ultima parola di lode per il personale di ricezione che si trovano a un migliaio di distanza per aiutarvi a godervi il vostro soggiorno.

Nonostante i bagni e i bagni, erano puliti e organizzati e comodi. Tutti i membri del personale erano amici e utili. Lo spazio per la rete al soffitto è probabilmente il gemello nascosto. Per il prezzo che pagate, le camere, la comodità e il comfort sono stati invincibili.

We were here for spring break and, as I always write here, it very much pays to be a Bonvoy elite member. Our titanium level unfailingly gets us upgrades and rooms on the upper floors as was the case on this stay. Views from the 30th floor are majestic. This was in a great location for us. Walkable to Boston Common and lots of food around. Check in is easy. They have the system where one comes in at street level and then up escalators/elevators to the lobby where we were quickly and efficiently checked in with very courteous service. Both the rooms we had on this reservation were delightful. Our mini-suite came replete with a large L-shaped sofa, plenty of space and a very comfortable king bed. I applaud Westin in particular, and Marriott in particular for installing large, purpose built showers in the ensuite bathroom. I love soaking in a tub BUT hate hotel rooms with a very shallow tub that is impossible to soak in, but has an over-the-tub shower. A purpose built shower is so much better so one isn't tripping getting in and out or constantly fighting with a clammy shower curtain. The shower in our room was excellent and large, fixed bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also preferable to tiny bottles in my view. Bathroom lighting etc, all excellent. Our room had large windows, pull down blinds as well as thick curtains so it is easy to control the natural lighting you want. I don't watch TV but there is a large, wall mounted flat screen that looks great for those who do. The hotel has a large bank of very efficient elevators which I greatly appreciate. Never had to wait long even though the hotel was clearly busy. This may seem an obvious thing and is often taken for granted but I appreciate it when hotels get this right. Couple of things that annoy me at this level and, I admit these are minor and the bar is set very high when one stays somewhere like this. The first is the heating in our room which, though efficient, is very noisy when bringing the room up to temperature and required us to turn it off at night purely for noise reasons. This hotel also adheres to a practice I absolutely despise, although I know it is common enough these days and it's this: $25 added to your nightly bill per room, that gets charged whether or not you avail yourself of services like the Ingredients coffee/snack bar, or drinks in the Club, or room service. Don't use it? You lose it. In other words you get charged it regardless. I find this high handed and it ******s at me hugely and I end up making decisions like buying things I don't want or need simply because I will get hit with a $25 charge anyway. How do they justify this? If you want to extract another $25 from me per night, put it on the charge of the room rather than give me an ostensibly cheaper rate then hit me with a charge I can't avoid. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and whenever I see it charged, often as a ”destination charge” or ”resort charge” it greatly irks me. Be pr

Lo spazio della stanza è relativamente piccolo, la disposizione è ragionevole e la posizione è eccellente. Puoi andare al grande centro commerciale di Boston dal secondo piano. L'hotel fornisce 2 bottiglie di acqua minerale gratuitamente ogni giorno. L'unico rammarico è che l'hotel non offre la colazione gratuita.

La posizione è comoda, a pochi passi da vie dello shopping, chiese e musei. Igienico e pulito. L'isolamento acustico è nella media. Ho prenotato una camera panoramica con letto king size, ma la disposizione della stanza non era buona, la camera da letto era piccola, era scomodo non avere un tavolo e c'erano dei pilastri fuori dalla finestra che bloccavano la vista.

È un livello 8/10 quattro stagioni. I portavoce erano molto carini e benvenuti, il check-in era veloce e hanno dato tutte le informazioni necessarie su questo hotel. La stanza non era preparata come richiesto, ma questo è stato fissato poco dopo averci gustato la cena fuori. Il colazione era sorprendente, le uova di lobster scrambled e la pasticceria erano tutti molto deliziosi. La piscina è abbastanza grande, senza bambini. Ma il sistema di circolazione dell'acqua non era ben progettato, quindi si può sentire freddo e caldo alternativamente. Il salotto al livello del lobby era usato per servire il tè pomeriggio e le ore felici. Quando eravamo li', era una festa rumorosa. Fortunatamente il piano era abbastanza alto, quindi non mi sentivo mai turbato. La posizione di questo hotel è molto vicina al centro prudenziale, così come Newbury Street. E' facile raggiungere ovunque a Boston. Prima di riaprire le Fourseason Boston, One Dalton sarebbe ancora il luogo ideale per soggiornare in città. Great hotel everything was exceptional except price for parking is outrageous!

The staff were incredible. The lobby and bar look dated, but the room was perfect. The airport shuttle was a great surprise! The hotel is near a T stop, so it is easy to get into the city, but there isn’t a whole lot around (in walking distance) in terms of restaurants/bars- although we only stayed for one night so we could have missed something!
