My second time staying at an Ibis; LOVE these properties. The rooms are very basic but you'll have what you need. The property is fun and stylish, staff was helpful (including arranging midnight airport transportation for us) and there's a full service bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of dishes; I wish hotels in the US offered breakfasts like this! The National Museum right across the street is well worth a visit and you're a short drive to Monserrate and Candelaria.

Hotel a centro città a lungo stabilito (non essere confuso con il suo nome l'hotel Tequendama - un isolato). L'ubicazione è conveniente per l'accesso ai trasporti pubblici e all'aeroporto - anche se può sentirsi un po' intimidante, soprattutto alla notte, quando la zona è molto più tranquilla e non ci sono molte opzioni per mangiare. L'hotel offre camere spaziose in stile suite, che, sebbene un po' date siano mantenute e mantenute molto pulite. Il WiFi era un po' patch, e l'acqua calda poteva prendere un po' di tempo per lavorare (forse perché ero in un piano superiore). Il colazione era sostanziale con una serie di piatti locali, che per me erano un po' pesanti - quindi forse si potevano considerare opzioni più leggere. Non ho usato né il giardino né il spa, quindi non posso commentare. Infine, tutti i miei contatti erano molto attraenti e professionali. In generale, ho comunicato in spagnolo, ma credo che il personale di ricezione abbia almeno le competenze linguistiche in inglese. We arrived at this hotel in the early hours of the morning (4am) after a long haul flight from the U.K. We were obviously very tired and check in was done very quickly and without any stress. We were taken up to our room which, on the face of it seemed spacious and nice, if a little tired, and went straight to bed. I can't fault the customer service, everyone was very professional, polite and welcoming. Disliked · As I showered the following morning, I noticed a dripping coming from the ceiling above the toilet and the ceiling was bowing. We agreed that once we were ready we would report this to reception. I was just drying my hair and there was a big whoosh and part of the ceiling came down! Luckily, no one was hurt but I am surprised that the housekeeping service had not picked up on the leak previously, as this had obviously been building up for some time! I called a lady from housekeeping who was along the corridor from us and she came and had a look and we were swiftly moved to another (not so nice) room that had a ceiling but we guessed had not been used for a while as smelt musty and when we ran the tap the water initially came out brown! It was the first day of our holiday and for the sake of one night didn't want to make a fuss! From our experience, the rooms badly need a refurb but the customer service we received was good.

It’s truly a fabulous hotel especially considering the price and centrally located in the Centro of Bogota. You are within 1/2 a mile from Monserrat teleférico and approximately 5 blocks from Plaza Bolivar where all the Museum are located. Ho decisamente raccomandato questo hotel!
