Hotel vicini a The Victoria a Blackpool

We have just returned from an overnight stay. We had booked the suite ( coniston). Upon arrival we were quickly dealt with by reception. The hotel is running on a skeleton staff but all were helpful. Our suite wasnt ready but the happily stored our luggage so we could go into Blackpool and would call when it was ready which they did. The hotel itself is in a 10 min walk of the north pier and tower. From the outside it looks a little tired. The main door doesnt work and decor is dated. The suite however was very spacious. It stretched across 5 windows all tower facing with a great view. The only down side to this was the windows needed a good clean. The suite was modern and had 2 bathrooms a dining area a living area and bedroom. It was clean and tidy however there were noticable stains on the carpet and furniture which they had cleaned in the past. But overall was very pleasant. The bath was lovely nice and deep. We only paid 179 for the night when peak charge can be around 300 so i felt at this price it was worth it. The only thing that would of made it better and i would expect if paying top end would be a robe slippers and possible complimentary mini bar. The bed was very comfortable and the addition of a fan was welcomed. However no hairdryer! We didnt eat here as we ate at the beach house (highly recommended and it didnt dissapoint! )At this price point we would return again and plan to in the future.

Abbiamo fatto una breve pausa, il personale era grande. La stanza stessa era buona, anche se c'era un interruttore di luce rotto che abbiamo riportato alla ricezione. Questo era ancora da cambiare quando siamo partiti lunedì (sabato è stato riportato). I prezzi del bar sono stati tipici per un hotel e divertimento terminato il sabato alle 9:00, quando il cantante andava ad un altro hotel.

My friend and I and our two twelve year olds had a lovely 3 day stay at The Bluewaters Hotel. We got what we paid for and more. Really had a fun time. I swithered on booking as the reviews were awful, but was swayed by the attraction of a swim. So pleased I was. Fabulous location, the best staff, great fun... But please note.. - Swimming costs £5 per person/ child for every hour. I was happy to pay that. And you have to book in advance. I would advise getting changed and ready for your swim in your room and taking a dressing gown with you AND importantly asking for towels before going for your swim... and ladies... No hair dryers in the changing area which is a tad chilly. - The room we stayed in was cold on arrival but they were happy to turn on the heating earlier than it would have gone on with the timer. - Dinner is served downstairs of an evening £16.50 for adults, £8 for children.. I seriously recommend going elsewhere... Go to Nandos instead... dinner in the hotel is edible, but everything else about it is awful. - If you aren't driving... invest in tram tickets... it's the best way to go. A group day ticket for up to 5 adults is £18, lots more options depending on your group size and length of stay. - Breakfast is fine. - Take some of your own wine and beer. The bar is fully stocked and prices for sitting in are reasonable, but for a wee drinky in the room.. go co-op (there is one less than 10 minutes walk away). - We discovered by accident the live entertainment on Saturday night... no idea how often this happens and when, but it was really good fun. The weans didn't know any of the songs, but (showing my age a bit here)... I did! - The beach is very close... if you don't take advantage and have a paddle you are missing the best bit of staying here. - The lift was broken when we stayed... be prepared for many stairs if like us you find yourself on the third floor. This is an honest and straightforward Blackpool hotel with no pretensions. We had a great time... if you go open to what is on offer at such a reasonable rate... I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Sono rimasto a Norbreck per una notte per il mio compleanno, io e mia moglie hanno visto i commenti e dovevo provarlo per noi stessi devo ammettere che non era così male come pensavo che la stanza era pulita la stanza era bella non avevamo cibo in hotel ma è Sento un bel profumo come passeggiato in ricezione. L'hotel era occupato e il divertimento era buono i 2 cantanti hanno fatto molto bene, è un hotel di famiglia così avrete bambini correre intorno a lui non ci ha mollato noi abbiamo bambini l'hotel è come un lago ci ha voluto anni per trovare la stanza ma ci ha dato un La possibilità di guardare intorno Il personale non poteva fare abbastanza per noi se avessimo bisogno di qualcosa che erano felici di obbligare la cosa migliore è la piscina e la sauna £ 2.00 per utilizzare le strutture è un negozio e sono aperti tutto il giorno per i residenti. La mia unica critica è che impiegano personale molto giovane per fare i compiti e non credo che abbiano ricevuto la formazione che hanno bisogno di tutto il tessuto era pulito quando ho controllato che non avevo lasciato nulla sotto il letto c'erano tessuti e cartelli dolci dell'ultima persona Il quilt è stato messo all'interno per essere onesti. When we arrived the barrier was down. We had to do that awkward thing of move the car over as far as you can and then stretch to reach the button to contact staff. Unfortunately the staff member who answered the gate intercom was a little hard to understand and she cut us off rather abruptly with the gate still remaining down. We pressed again and the gate allowed access. We checked in and I advised that I had already paid online via paypal. The staff advised that any payment was not an actual payment rather a hold - I would still need to pay again. If you use paypal you will know it takes several days to show on your account so I could neither prove nor disprove their claims. We got to our room and were pleased to be in an annexe as there was a wedding going on. Nice room size etc kettle, coffee machine, mugs, tea and biscuits. I checked in the bathroom for glasses and there were none available - I would assume that a hotel charging over £100 per night would at least supply plastic cups or proper glasses to drink water from. There was plenty of storage available and a decent hairdryer. The shower was nice - however the glass door was not long enough to prevent significant amounts of water hitting the floor - the bath mat was sodden. The shower tray and grout work as well as an area near the radiator had mould/blackening to it. There was also a random hole in the ceiling - possibly an old leak? The food was great although it took a while to arrive. I did ask for mild peppercorn sauce and no mushrooms - my food arrived with mushrooms and no peppercorn sauce. We left the restaurant believing that the meal would be added to the room - a member of staff followed us out advised that many people may have sat at the table and they needed a room number (this was given when we arrived at the restaurant) and could we pay now?!; perhaps they need a better booking/checking system in place? We then went through to the bar there were several tables which had been left with glasses on them. They were only removed when we sat at one of these tables, the table remained unwiped. The two staff on didn't come over to see if we wanted more drinks and didn't interact with other people who were hovering also intending to purchase drinks. I eventually took my chair and sat in front of the bar waiting for the staff to return from a patrol; neither asked if they could help so I shouted over. I believe this is indicative more of a lack of training in customer service than rudeness. Children from the wedding were becoming a nuisance by this point and were pretty much unchallenged by staff. They were running in and out, up and down stairs taking milk from the fridges and leaving plastic rings on the floor. They made enough noise to be heard on at least the first floor as the fire doors were help open by magnets. In our room we hoped for peace and quiet only to be left disappointed by music echoing over from the wedding - this finished just before midnight. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The gym was lovely and quiet at 8am although the sauna hadn't quite heated up when we headed in there around 8.40ish. Breakfast was mostly tasty - the black pudding lacked any flavour - the scrambled eggs and hash browns were great. The tea was the wrong colour and tasted like very cheap teabags. There were bits of chips on the floor from the food service the night before.
