Aravinda Resort

The hotel has beautiful settings but they need to be improved on a better management. The rooms are ok and the bathroom a wonder. The staff tries to be nice, but they are few and with poor English. The breakfast was too bad for its category - the bread was old, the coffee machine was not working, and there’s a lack of variety. On the first night we had dinner at the hotel, very basic, so next days we went to the neighborhood walkable hotels to have dinner - Tam Coc garden and Nham Village.we had a great massage on their spa.

This hotel has potential , but at the moment it doesn’t quite manage it. The rooms are OK, not as spectacular as the pictures that we saw before we arrived. The bathroom isn’t very practical and there was a lack of water pressure. The breakfast was adequate but definitely not anything special. However the staff were very nice and pedal bikes were free for use!

Beautiful resort with nice and clean rooms. Service is not good for foreigners as the personnel hardly speaks English. I saw this a few times in reviews from 3 and 4 years ago, but apparently not much improvement. The personnel is very friendly and always willing to help and please the guests, but does not understand English well enough. The lobby is nicely decorated, but the restaurant needs some attention. The breakfast is a bit poor and the bread is not fresh. I missed good coffee aa well. The massage was very good. In general a beautiful and peaceful resort.

Me & my husband, we've planned for this trip before Covid pandemic & recently had a wonderful stay at Aravinda Resort. We were very impressed with the resort's staff, who played a big role in making our experience so memorable. This idyllic cozy oasis promises an unforgettable getaway, filled with lush greenery, delicious farm-to-table cuisine. From the moment we booked our reservation, we were given excellent and attentive customer service. We prefer book directly with the hotel while traveling. When we arrived at the resort, a warmly welcomed by the front desk staff and waitstaff. They always had a friendly smile on their face and were always willing to help us in any way they could. Thanks a lot for 4 cup of welcome chamomile tea (from the garden) for 2 of us. We would like to give a big thank the housekeeping staff. Every day, they would clean our room spotlessly and make sure that we had everything we needed, especially yoga mats. This was wonderful because we are yoga enthusiasts and always want to take advantage of our vacation time to practice. We were given two herbal foot baths in our room. This was a very relaxing and comfortable experience. We really enjoyed this gift. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Aravinda Resort. In particular, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the resort's staff for making our experience so wonderful. We will definitely be back here this summer.

How to describe the resort? Elegant and simple conveying a calm serenity. My wife and I spent three lovely nights here, I wish it was longer! The resort is small but perfectly formed with a collection of beautifully appointed bungalows. Our room was elegant with a very high ceiling and functional four poster bed (to accommodate mosquito nets). The room, bathroom including shower and bath are exactly what you would want from a well appointed boutique hotel experience. The staff were friendly and eager to please, communication was a little tough at times but the lady on reception Yung (apologies if I have her name wrong) was on happy to help. Yung went the extra mile and is a credit to the venue. If you keep in mind elegant simplicity then this is aravinda resort in a nut shell. We used the free bikes and hired a scooter for the day (£4 😎) It was a perfect base for our adventures with epic scenery on view from your room and lots of beautiful places to visit nearby.

I was unsure what to expect given the reviews, but have to say we had a lovely 2 night stay at Aravinda! The breakfast was varied (covers for the fruit would be a good idea) with several bread options, an egg station, and a pho station. The views and surrounding area are so lovely! We had a Lotus Lake Room, which had a lovely view of the lotus pond at the back of the property. The room was massive, and my teenage daughter loved birdwatching from the back porch. The mosquito nets were welcome, as well, as we are mosquito magnets. We ate at the restaurant one night and service was quite good (I was afraid given previous reviews). I would stick with the Vietnamese dishes, though, as our pizza was below average (this was a valuable lesson for my teenage daughter - stick with the local cuisine in small towns!) I heard they have a new dining manager, so that must be the reason for the service improvement. They were also kind enough to confirm that dishes were peanut-free (daughter is allergic to peanuts), so that was very much appreciated. We borrowed bikes to bike to Thung Nham and Bich Dong Pagoda, which made for a fun day out.
