My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at the Grand Hyatt Berlin. The staff was wonderfully attentive. (Thank you, Christian, for the lovely bottle of wine sent up to our room.) The hotel was lovely and our room (637) was really beautiful. The hotel is located near many historical sights and we did a wonderful walking tour. The concierge was very helpful in providing us with information about local sights and how to access them by public transportation. My husband and I both felt pampered and would definitely stay here again if we return to Berlin.

We loved our stay at the Mandala Hotel. It’s in an excellent location making it easy to walk to many sights and close to Potsdamer Platz station for public transport. Our management suite with balcony was fabulous and with everything we needed - all beautifully designed, spacious, very comfortable and quiet (we overlooked a side street). Breakfast choice was good and the standard high. During our trip we needed an emergency dentist and one of the lovely receptionists kindly booked us an appointment for that day. We are enormously grateful. We would happily stay at Mandala again.

L'hotel è a posto, non il miglior servizio in camera. La zona spa è molto piccola e non molto comoda quando sono presenti più di 4 persone. Il letto era grande e comodo, solo le mutandine erano molto alte e dure, ma sono state sostituite rapidamente. Se stai cercando un hotel più lussuoso e confortevole, non suggerisco di scegliere questo.

Se veniamo a Berlino per ascoltare Berlino, si consiglia di prendere JW Wanhoo. Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti, dovevamo cambiare le stanze subito dopo l'ispezione, perché ci è stato dato una stanza con vista su un vecchio tetto sporco con luci di costruzione che brillavano nella stanza. Abbiamo prenotato colazione inclusi, ma abbiamo avuto qualche scusa per il motivo per cui la prenotazione non poteva essere trattata con colazione. La grande bottiglia di condizionatore in bagno era vuota e anche dopo che mio marito l'ha indicato al membro della squadra di servizio non era riempita. La mattina del secondo giorno, ho regolato le foglie di conforto solo per rivelare un conforto gialla di colore, e ho chiesto che fosse cambiato, ma senza successo, e facile dire che non ho dormito bene quella notte. Con Sheraton in suo nome, ogni hotel di questo tipo dovrebbe essere orgoglioso di avere mattresse estremamente confortevoli. Non qui. Ci sono camere date e disgustose. Per favore non rimanere lì. Ci sono molti hotel che sono molto meglio e più economico anche. Vi salverò le foto, potrebbe chiudere l'hotel.

Il senso generale dell'hotel è buono, ma è un hotel sotto il gruppo di gestione di prima classe.Il traffico dell'hotel è conveniente, la linea S e la stazione U sono molto vicini all'hotel, e possono essere raggiunti a piedi dai punti di attrazione che devono andare alla piazza di Potztan, alla porta di Brandenburg. This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Pessima impressione già dal primo momento all’ingresso:2 poltrone consumate in una hall molto grande ma buia e poco illuminata l’albergo è in completo rifacimento e almeno due piani sono completamente chiusi per il rinnovo delle camere ma anche nei rimanenti piani molte camere sono in ristrutturazione:primo grande problema a noi è capitata una bella camera completamente rinnovata e moderna,a mia sorella una di vecchio tipo che dimostra tutti i suoi anni.Sarebbe serio che l’hotel facesse in fase di vendita una differenza di prezzo tra i due tipi di room ben diverse.per arrivare alla nostra è stato necessario salire al quinto piano fare un lunghissimo corridoio che porta a un piccolo ascensore di servizio che bisogna prendere per scendere al terzo piano e arrivare finalmente alla camera. Prima colazione molto deludente:la sala del breakfast è stretta e lunga con adiacente la zona dove sta il cuoco che prepara uova e omelette e di conseguenza i cattivi odori di fritto e cucina che impestano la sala.il buffet poco vario e di non eccellente qualità con croissant stopposi e pane poco fresco .Una palestra minuscola e indegna di un grande albergo e,colmo dei colmi se vuoi utilizzare la sauna devi pagare a parte 8 euro!Unica nota positiva che alla mia valutazione non fa mettere il minimo la gentilezza disponibilità e professionalità della responsabile del desk Alicia che con la sua attitudine veramente al top riesce a coprire le tante mancanze di un albergo che a mio parere deve fare molto per recuperare la sua fama.

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.

Uno dei migliori hotel del nostro viaggio in Europa. L'hotel si trova convenientemente al di fuori della stazione S/U, Berlino Friedrichstrasse. Ci sono due entrambi gli ingressi per l'hotel e entrambi sembrano molto grandi, il lobby è ben decorato e hanno anche preparato tè e un snack leggero (cake/cookies) per gli ospiti mentre noi raffreddiamo al lobby. L'ispezione è stata piacevole e il personale dell'hotel è stato molto gentile e allegro, davvero rendere il nostro giorno. Abbiamo ricevuto una stanza al livello 4 con una vista molto bella sulla città, la stanza è pulita, spaziosa e è davvero contemporanea e moderna, con uno specchio enorme per le vostre tiri quotidiane OOTD. Il colazione era davvero grande, la diffusione era enorme e offre molte scelte per soddisfare le diverse esigenze. Il personale ha prestato attenzione a pulire le piastre e ha aiutato. In generale, è stato un soggiorno perfetto e sicuramente visiteremo di nuovo NH Berlino!

The location was quite easy to find and close to touristic venues. Although, I haven't had a chance, the hotel seems to offer lots of opportunities to socialize by organizing a manifold of activities. The personnel was very kind and helpful, I really enjoyed my stayed here. Would recommend an ”all you can eat” breakfast buffet as you wait for the museums or venues to open!

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es war sauber. Es steht sogar ein Wasserkocher (auch sauber, nicht verkalkt) mit Tee und löslichem Kaffee bereit. Super für Allergiker: kein Teppich im Zimmer. Mein Highlight: das Frühstücksbuffet. Bei meinem Aufenthalt war viel los, trotzdem kam der Service hinterher und hat immer wieder alles aufgefüllt. Es ist wirklich für jeden was dabei, sehr vielfältig, frisch und oberlecker. Ich würde das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen und immer wieder buchen.

The hotel is OK - rooms are clean and quiet (at least with the windows closed). We were in a triple room which was quite small for three people - and the third bed was very small even for our daughter who is not very tall. No staff present at all after 12.30pm so if you check in in on a Friday afternoon (as we did) there will be no staff for the weekend either and no breakfast room or breakfast. The cleaning person made a try to clean the room at 9am on the Saturday morning before we were really up and ready, and then did not come back, so the room remained as it was. The price was OK - though when I think we had a two room apartment with a proper kitchen in Berlin for about €10 more, I don't think it was great value. The area is also pretty scruffy (even by Berlin standards). Very good access to public transport - there are 2 stations very close by. The kitchenette was also a disappointment - just salt and pepper provided, no tea or coffee, no microwave, no dishwasher and no coffee pod machine - all of which feel reasonably standard these days. Also quite a hike to the nearest supermarket, so I wouldn't really plan on cooking much.

Ci siamo stati in occasione di un addio al celibato per 2 notti cercando qualcosa di economico. Ostello con camerate anche ad uso privato con bagno interno. Noi abbiamo prenotato camere doppie e ci sono state date tutte camere da 6 quindi molto ampie. Comodo il bagno “separato” con doccia e lavandino in uno stanzino e wc con altro lavandino in un altro stanzino. Pulizia ottima. Unico piccolo difetto le macchinette per cibo/bevande e caffè vanno tutte a monete e non ci sono le macchinette per il cambio. Non è in centro ma si trova a 5 min a piedi dalla metro e nelle vicinanze ci sono bar per ottime colazioni. Consigliato per gruppi di amici

Ho trascorso una notte in questo 4 stelle situato vicino alla piazza Potsdam e ben servito dai trasporti pubblici. À mon arrivée, l'accueil était très froid, vraiment pas à la hauteur de ce qu'on attend de ce type d'établissement, L’hotel avrebbe anche bisogno di un grande ascensore. Per quanto riguarda i servizi offerti, ho potuto godere della sauna ma i suoi orari di apertura sono molto limitati (da 17 a 20 ore solo), Per quanto riguarda la camera, questa era abbastanza grande, la sala d’acqua era dotata di bagno e doccia, la lettera è di qualità ma i cuscini sono a cambiare al più veloce (molto troppo morbido).. Il suo colazione era di buona qualità.

Situato non lontano da Potsdamer Platz vicino a varie fermate U-Bahn e S-Bahn. Hotel nuovo e moderno con camere ordinate e ben pulite e letti comodissimi. Ottima e varia colazione, personale attento e gentile che parla anche italiano; ci hanno dato la camera prima dell’orario previsto per il check-in e ho visto che altri clienti hanno lasciato la camera dopo l’orario di check-out. Dentro l’hotel c’è un bar dove bere una birra fresca alla spina o, in alternativa, un apprezzato distributore di cubetti di ghiaccio self-service per rinfrescare le bibite comprate al supermercato che si trova di fronte all’hotel. Rapporto qualità prezzo super.

Stayed here as we were going to a gig at Tempodrom and it’s really close. Was slightly nervous as there are some bad reviews on here, so here is my honest review. Staff were great. Friendly, super efficient and more than willing and able to speak in English if you really feel you cannot manage any German. Breakfast staff were helpful and friendly too. Rooms are perhaps a little dated but spotless and bed was made up daily with clean towels daily. Hotel is a 10-20 minute stroll from Potsdamer and there’s a u-bahn and bus stop over the road. I would recommend this ibis especially for events at tempodrom and sightseeing around Potsdamer

La posizione non è male, ci sono andata con mio marito e un bambino di meno di un anno, il letto è molto grande. Abbastanza per dormire noi tre con spazio libero. Le bevande nel frigorifero sono tutte gratuite, il che è abbastanza buono~ Ma il bambino può vedere molta polvere quando striscia per terra... il balsamo e la lozione per il corpo nel bagno sono spariti... e non è pieno. Si dice che in questo hotel ci sia un parco giochi per bambini, ma è stato chiuso a causa dell'epidemia. . . .

Per un viaggio di piacere a Berlino ho trascorso quattro notti in questo bellissimo hotel. È vicino al check point Charlie, zona molto centrale e collegata con tutto. La camera era bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli, il bagno piccolo ma altrettanto bello. La colazione non è inclusa ma vicino alla reception c’è a disposizione degli ospiti una macchina del caffè/cappuccino, un bollitore per il the e del succo che si può consumare gratuitamente sedendosi ai tavolini del bar. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile, abbiamo chiesto di alzare la temperatura in stanza e ci hanno dato un caldo bagno non potendo manipolare quella centralizzata. Ottimo, lo consiglio vivamente.
