We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

Pessima impressione già dal primo momento all’ingresso:2 poltrone consumate in una hall molto grande ma buia e poco illuminata l’albergo è in completo rifacimento e almeno due piani sono completamente chiusi per il rinnovo delle camere ma anche nei rimanenti piani molte camere sono in ristrutturazione:primo grande problema a noi è capitata una bella camera completamente rinnovata e moderna,a mia sorella una di vecchio tipo che dimostra tutti i suoi anni.Sarebbe serio che l’hotel facesse in fase di vendita una differenza di prezzo tra i due tipi di room ben diverse.per arrivare alla nostra è stato necessario salire al quinto piano fare un lunghissimo corridoio che porta a un piccolo ascensore di servizio che bisogna prendere per scendere al terzo piano e arrivare finalmente alla camera. Prima colazione molto deludente:la sala del breakfast è stretta e lunga con adiacente la zona dove sta il cuoco che prepara uova e omelette e di conseguenza i cattivi odori di fritto e cucina che impestano la sala.il buffet poco vario e di non eccellente qualità con croissant stopposi e pane poco fresco .Una palestra minuscola e indegna di un grande albergo e,colmo dei colmi se vuoi utilizzare la sauna devi pagare a parte 8 euro!Unica nota positiva che alla mia valutazione non fa mettere il minimo la gentilezza disponibilità e professionalità della responsabile del desk Alicia che con la sua attitudine veramente al top riesce a coprire le tante mancanze di un albergo che a mio parere deve fare molto per recuperare la sua fama.

Questo hotel è assolutamente meraviglioso. La colazione è fantastica e offre buone opzioni vegetariane, con personale molto attento. Il bar non è economico, tuttavia la qualità è eccellente. L'accoglienza è visivamente di grande impatto e il personale è eccezionale. La palestra è attualmente in fase di riparazione, il che è un peccato, tuttavia hanno messo a disposizione soluzioni alternative per gli ospiti disperati. Sfortunatamente questa è una delle poche zone di Berlino che non ha un facile accesso a deliziosi piatti da asporto a tarda notte, tuttavia è perfetta per i siti turistici.

TLDR: The Hotel Luc met minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, but its management failed to address a simple incident, ultimately impacting a very meaningful trip, during which I got engaged. When planning my recent trip to Berlin, I debated between Hotel Luc and the Westin, ultimately choosing the former. Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Luc has left me regretting this decision. A luxury boutique hotel should excel in room decor, cleanliness, accessible amenities, and courteous staff. However, what truly sets a luxury hotel apart is its management's ability to provide tailored service to guests in handling incidents or requests. So what happened? I got engaged on this trip and wanted to capture the moment in photos around Berlin. Excitedly putting on my favorite cotton dress shirt, I used the hotel iron on the cotton setting. Shockingly, the iron burned huge hole in my shirt, turning the fabric into plastic that stuck to the iron. Immediately, I reported the incident to the front desk, who directed me to email the manager. The manager’s response: “I am very sorry that your shirt apparently could not withstand the heat of the iron and was irreparably damaged. However, I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a refund/ reimbur*****t for this. The use of irons in the room is at your own risk and we are not liable in this case. As it concerns the rear collar area, I hope that you will receive goodwill from the manufacturer by explaining the situation and explicitly pointing out that you have only selected the lowest ironing heat - this may change the liability towards the manufacturer.” In summary, the hotel manager: - Refuses to admit the iron was faulty - Denied any liability - Shifted blame to the clothing manufacturer (Bonobos) - Suggests that I should lie to the clothing manufacturer about the iron setting Upon returning to the US, I filed a complaint with Marriott, which accidentally directed my complaint to the wrong hotel (Moxy). Despite the error, Moxy, an international Marriott brand, promptly offered reimbur*****t, no questions asked. When I corrected the mistake and told them it was the Hotel Luc that was liable, the Hotel Luc manager continued to deny responsibility. A few takeaways from this: - Stay at a larger international brand when traveling abroad for better support - The Hotel Luc failed to address common incident, refusing accountability, while an international brand quickly addressed the issue While the Hotel Luc met my minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, its management’s failure to address a simple request ultimately impacted a very meaningful trip.

Uno dei migliori hotel del nostro viaggio in Europa. L'hotel si trova convenientemente al di fuori della stazione S/U, Berlino Friedrichstrasse. Ci sono due entrambi gli ingressi per l'hotel e entrambi sembrano molto grandi, il lobby è ben decorato e hanno anche preparato tè e un snack leggero (cake/cookies) per gli ospiti mentre noi raffreddiamo al lobby. L'ispezione è stata piacevole e il personale dell'hotel è stato molto gentile e allegro, davvero rendere il nostro giorno. Abbiamo ricevuto una stanza al livello 4 con una vista molto bella sulla città, la stanza è pulita, spaziosa e è davvero contemporanea e moderna, con uno specchio enorme per le vostre tiri quotidiane OOTD. Il colazione era davvero grande, la diffusione era enorme e offre molte scelte per soddisfare le diverse esigenze. Il personale ha prestato attenzione a pulire le piastre e ha aiutato. In generale, è stato un soggiorno perfetto e sicuramente visiteremo di nuovo NH Berlino!

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.

La camera d'albergo era confortevole. Abbiamo goduto di un buon grado di privacy. La mia unica lamentela è che durante il nostro viaggio, sulla mia carta di credito sono stati addebitati € 194 dall'hotel, nonostante avessi già pagato il prezzo intero per la camera. Naturalmente, l'hotel lo ha rimborsato immediatamente. Questo però non mi ha compensato del fatto che ho dovuto aspettare 3 giorni per ricevere i soldi sul mio conto. A quel punto avevo solo 50€ in contanti e 31£ sul mio conto in banca. Questo mi ha fatto sentire insicuro, dato che normalmente ho abbastanza soldi nel caso qualcosa vada storto. Non credo che la mia carta avrebbe dovuto essere addebitata in primo luogo e il membro del personale che ha effettuato l'addebito accidentale con la carta dovrebbe prestare maggiore attenzione alle informazioni finanziarie degli ospiti.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Questo è un ottimo hotel vicino ad Alexanderplatz, che è una delle mie zone preferite della città. L'Hauptbanhof è nelle vicinanze, la Fernsehen Tower, un sacco di negozi e cibo! L'hotel include una colazione con qualcosa per tutti. E ci sono anche opzioni di cibi caldi disponibili la sera in cui non hai voglia di uscire. Tutti erano molto cordiali!

Viaggio di 5 giorni e 4 notti alla scoperta di Berlino. Ottima posizione, vicino alle fermate di autobus e tram e a 15 minuti a piedi dello snodo ferroviario di Alexander Platz da dove puoi raggiungere qualunque parte della città, fino all’aeroporto. Albergo molto grande, con centinaia di stanze divise su 4 piani, ma nonostante tutto abbastanza silenzioso. Sala colazione molto grande e ben arredata, tantissima scelta al buffet, che non rimaneva mai vuoto, con continue aggiunte. C’è anche un bar/ristorante che funziona e bene dal pomeriggio fino a tarda notte. Personale gentile e sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti. Stanza bella, abbastanza comoda e ben climatizzata. Letto grande e comodo. L’unico neo è il bagno, ben tenuto ma piccolo. Pulizia ben fatta e giornaliera. Da provare.

Situata in una bella zona vicino al centro è a 5 minuti a piedi dai tram. Indicazioni chiare dalle receptionist. Camere (da 8) grandi e confortevoli, molto ben fornite e pulite meticolosamente. Lenzuola pulite, letti rumorosi cuscini assolutamente di bassissima qualità. Sanitari puliti, ma in condivisione con altre stanze e di numero insufficiente nelle ore di punta. Discreta qualità dell'acqua dai rubinetti e sapone a asciugamani disponibili. Buona cucina attrezzata con 2 frigo, un lavabo e 4 fornelli a induzione in 2 piani cottura mal posizionati. Puliti non benissimo gli utensili e l'attrezzatura in cucina. Mancanza di forchette e coltelli e bicchieri nelle ore di punta. Piatti in abbondanza. Personale gentile e disponibile. Deposito bagagli con lucchetto attaccabile a una svarra di metallo all'ingresso, all'interno, ma in vista di tutti quelli che entrano. Vicino a un supermercato con prezzi assolutamente convenienti. Ideale per studenti. Consigliato, peccato per i bagni in comune.

Bellissimo hotel 5 stelle situato nel cuore di Berlino, dal quale si può andare ovunque a piedi (Porta di Brandeburgo a 900 metri, per esempio). Io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato 4 notti in questo mastodontico hotel a Berlino. Zona centralissima dove si raggiungono molto comodamente i posti da visitare sia con metro che a piedi. La zona è veramente strategica. L’hotel come scritto è enorme. Tutto molto pulito. Camere standard minimali molto calde, letto fatto alla tedesca e cioè con solo piumino.. nel bagno nessun accessorio da toilette neppure ciabattine: niente di niente. Pensavamo meglio dato anche il costo della camera. Altro punto di forza però è la colazione non manca nulla.

Prenotando all'ultimo, abbiamo trovato posto solo nelle stanze dell'ostello. La camera, sufficientemente spaziosa per 4 persone, disponeva di 2 letti singoli e 1 letto a castello. Mancavano, però, delle sedie, oppure dei tavolini per appoggiare le valigie ( che sono rimaste a terra tutto il tempo)visto che gli armadi non ci sono. Stessa cosa per quanto riguarda il bagno: mancano delle mensole per appoggiare le cose. Nel complesso, però, la struttura è pulita, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la prima colazione semplice ma buona. Quello che fa aumentare il voto è sicuramente la posizione strategica: vicinissima alla fermata della metropolitana è non distante da luoghi di interesse turistico.

Hotel elegante situano in zona centralissima a pochi metri dalla fermata della metro ed a cinque minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Colazione molto varia ed abbondante, sia dolce che salata, ci ha fatto molto piacere il fatto che la domenica sia possibile farla fino alle ore 12:00. E possibile visitare le principali attrazioni della città senza prendere alcun mezzo. L'hotel è silenzioso, con un'ottima qualità del sonno e dispone di una convenzione con un ristorante adiacente alla struttura. Consiglio la camera comfort con affaccio sulla città. La nostra camera era spaziosa, calda, pulita e con un bagno molto grande. Hotel sicuramente da consigliare sia per il rapporto qualità prezzo sia per la gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto il personale, sia quello della reception che quello della sala.

Posizione ottima a poca distanza dalla Porta di Brandeburgo e dall’isola dei musei; a pochi passi dalle stazioni S e U dei mezzi pubblici. Camere carine, pulite e confortevoli. Personale gentilissimo. Buona colazione ( anche se salata al 99%). Unici due nei:1) dato che il prezzo, sebbene abbordabile, non è comunque poco, trovare il bar dell’hotel chiuso non è stata una bella sorpresa. Dato che infrasettimanalmente la vita Berlinese cessa intorno alle 21/22, avere la possibilità di bere un drink al bar dell’hotel sarebbe stato eccellente. 2) non è molto insonorizzato internamente. Vale comunque la pena e se dovessimo tornare a Berlino prenoteremo qui di nuovo.

Posso rimanere senza problemi in aria condizionata e in camera. Ci sono molti residenti, e c'è anche un sacco di cose sull'ingresso (bevete tutti la notte, ecc.). Il personale era molto felice e ha risposto quando ha detto che c'erano problemi.Cari. Noleggio un po'di capelli e così via.

Situata in una bella zona vicino al centro è a 5 minuti a piedi dai tram. Indicazioni chiare dalle receptionist. Camere (da 8) grandi e confortevoli, molto ben fornite e pulite meticolosamente. Lenzuola pulite, letti rumorosi cuscini assolutamente di bassissima qualità. Sanitari puliti, ma in condivisione con altre stanze e di numero insufficiente nelle ore di punta. Discreta qualità dell'acqua dai rubinetti e sapone a asciugamani disponibili. Buona cucina attrezzata con 2 frigo, un lavabo e 4 fornelli a induzione in 2 piani cottura mal posizionati. Puliti non benissimo gli utensili e l'attrezzatura in cucina. Mancanza di forchette e coltelli e bicchieri nelle ore di punta. Piatti in abbondanza. Personale gentile e disponibile. Deposito bagagli con lucchetto attaccabile a una svarra di metallo all'ingresso, all'interno, ma in vista di tutti quelli che entrano. Vicino a un supermercato con prezzi assolutamente convenienti. Ideale per studenti. Consigliato, peccato per i bagni in comune.
