Barely maintained, poor to non existent housekeeping, rooms not as advertised. Broken safes, dodgy wiring, dirty pool. What contradicts is the serving and hospitality staff are wonderful and the restaurant is good. Eat there for sleep there.

We booked a delux room months in advance, but we’re told that the travel agents mislead us, we had hours of negotiations until they “did us a favour” and found a room for us where the lights actually worked and had been serviced. The property is more not just tired, it’s dilapidated, like the owners have given up. The pool is basically a eight foot hot tub - so filmy that I saw NO ONE use it. Broken safes and dodgy wiring. A single light worked. Room service did not happen despite putting a card out @08:00, by 18.00 still no clean. Excuses for everything - slow safe engineers, miss allocation by the travel agent at reception and the owner. Conversely the restaurant food is very good and the serving staff are wonderful. I would no recommend until the place is totally refurbished.

Not even sure where to begin! Our stay at Luna Sea went beyond our expectations. The views cannot be beat, food was incredible, staff was helpful and kind. On top of this, Luna Sea and Linda are truly part of the community. The atmosphere at the restaurant is warm and welcoming for all. On days we left the Inn for local adventures, we were met with smiles and enthusiasm when we mentioned Luna Sea and Dr. Linda. This brought a level of authenticity to our interactions and travel. Can't wait to go back and we hope to bring the whole family.

The room was extremely clean and tidy. The ocean view is breathtaking especially the sound of the ocean while I slept in the night. The staffs are courteous and friendly. The food was delicious and presentable.

Breathtaking views. Great bar and food. Had a spectacular time. Met the owner and many more who helped make our dinner memorable. Food was perfect. The sunset like a painting. The white wine was a favourite on our trip.

Our second time staying here and it was great. This hotel has such a south coast vibe, all the staff members are very friendly and warm. I want to especially mention Dalia at the bar. We really enjoyed her charm, she was always ready with a smile. If you are coming to the south coast area this is a great place to stay.

We had our wedding there and everything turned out amazing. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The food is great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We got to kayak around the bay and in the caves. The restaurant has a vibe especially on the weekend.

I loved this place. It is a gem. Would definitely stay there again. The staff and bartender was amazing.

Based on the website photos, we had high hopes for this little inn! As frequent travelers to Sandals South Coast (just down the road), we were looking for a place to stay 1-2 nights while we visited friends in the area before starting our vacation at Sandals. We booked 2 nights this trip with the intention to book it again in the future if we liked it. Unfortunately, the conditions were so far below what we expected that we left after only one night and would have left the day we arrived but were unable to obtain a reservation elsewhere on such short notice. I will refrain from posting pictures but the room conditions also look MUCH better online than in person - our room (Room 1) was very dingy in appearance (dirty walls, damaged dirty/black door framing, etc...) and the "blinds" on the door appeared to be taped into place. Before using the toilet, I did wipe the seat with a tissue as I had concerns about its cleanliness and again, I will refrain from posting the picture but the tissue came away discolored. The room was dark (there is only one very small wall light and 2 small reading lights attached to the bed frame), the bathroom window was left completely open unscreened (which I suspect is how the lizards that were on the wall beside our bed got into the room), and there were used towels in the wardrobe in our bedroom. We did make a complaint to the front desk and while very kind, the gentlemen we spoke with couldn't seem to understand our concerns. He did come to our room and remove the dirty towels and also tried to demonstrate how to open both doors fully to allow more light into the room but...the door was unfortunately broken and therefore not fully operable on both sides. We did walk around the grounds in hopes of spending some time relaxing on the lounge chairs but they were in such poor condition that we changed our minds (broken chairs, VERY dirty cushioning). The upside is that the employees were lovely - very kind and always friendly. We were charged for the night that we stayed but to their credit, they did refund us for the night that we cancelled because of leaving early. Our adult children and their spouses arrived on the island a couple days after us and also had reservations here - they decided to keep them in case we just had a bad room or "off" experience but unfortunately, they also had issues and won't be returning. It's unfortunate that this was our collective experience - this little inn has SO much potential - the owner has a jewel in this property; it just needs MUCH more attention to detail and the oversight of someone seeing the conditions through a travelers eyes.

We had a wonderful stay with our friends at the Luna Sea Inn before starting our vacation at Sandals South Coast. It's a small inn with ocean front rooms that has a wonderful bar and restaurant attached. Bonus is that it's located only about 15 minutes from Sandals so it was the perfect place to stay the night of our travel day as travel to the resort the next day was quick. The room was clean and well appointed with king size bed, a mini fridge and electric tea kettle. All of the staff was welcoming and friendly and the owner, Dr. Linda was a gracious hostess. She's a wealth of information about the area and was wonderful to talk to over drinks in the bar. We had lobster pizza for dinner which was tasty and the complimentary American and/or Jamaican breakfast the next morning was delicious. We all opted for the American but purchased a traditional Jamaican breakfast to try. I highly recommend trying the local flavors! We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning when we're back in Jamaica in 2024.

Such a relaxing and pleasant place... Service outstanding.. Rooms well appointed and vibe was wonderful. Hard to beat especially the natural beauty of the area. The food was fantastic and the entire experience was so relaxing. Advice - wake early and watch the sunrise..

Beds are made by 2 x 4 and you can see the mold on the walls from the last hurricane. There’s nowhere to get in or out of the water. The restaurant takes an hour and a half to serve you dinner. The drinks are $15 eachThey ask me too much money for what they offer - like a super 8 - the owner is always drunk.

We didn’t have a great experience and had to cut our time short; only didn’t 1 night instead of 2. We checked in around 6-7 pm that night. The front desk staff was very pleasant however, the first room was a smoking room ( or smelt like it) which I wish they had said something prior to showing us to the room. I didn’t want to complain but when the keyless door key would not work and they couldn’t find the actual room key, this became problematic. We were moved to another room next door which was non smoking and smelled much better. The room was dark as there is no overhead lighting near the bed. We showered and went bed… uneventful. The next morning with more lighting, we noticed the towels were dingy and stained… they should have been tossed! We quickly packed and decided to leave at 8 am. As the breakfast was complimentary for overnight guests, we decided to gave breakfast… big mistake. The restaurant service was slowwwwwww. We waited 30 minutes for the restaurant to open up/start operations. Breakfast was served 1 hr and 20 minutes after they were supposed to open. I can’t really comment fairly on quality of food as by then my hungry kids and lost their minds. I would have wanted to enjoy this place as it is a great location and beautiful scenes but the poor upkeep of the towels, dark dingy rooms, non functional keyless doors made this place subpar.

Just left the Luna Sea inn after a three day get away. This is my second time there. Doc Linda and all her staff made our stay there amazing. We felt like one of the family. The food is so amazing. It might take a bit of time to get your food but everything is made from scratch and love. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to just get away and relax. The views from your porch is unbelievable
