You are lucky if you get a smile. This shabby hotel offers five out of six floors with no-smoking rooms. Even if I stayed the furthest away from the reception and restaurant, all the years of smoking in this country sticks to the wall. Everywhere and everything stinks of cigarette smoke. Then the staff, one younger fellow at the front desk offered a smile. The others barely looked up from the computer as the game of solitaire was far more important. If you were lucky to get their attention, never mind asking about anything because they wouldn’t give you an answer- be it directions, post office, transportation or whatever need I had. And yeah- the seventies called and wanted their bathroom back. The only positive thing was the easy access southbound out of Belgrade. Try another hotel if you can.
