Beaune: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

My wife and I came to Beaune for 19 hours, on our way from Nice to Paris for her 40th birthday trip. Fortunately, we found Hotel le Cep before we even arrived. I didn’t know this would be the most important decision of our stay, but it turned out to be the most serendipitous chance I never could’ve thought existed, or found if I knew it did, but le Cep stumbled into our laps and our lives will never be the same because of it. The hotel was in the center of Beaune, walking distance for everything. The Grand Cru suite was worth every penny and watching the sunrise over the cathedral from the pen desk, drinking my coffee, was a welcome chance to realize the simplicity of life that can be learned from 13th century caves. We came to taste at Joseph Drouhin, which I highly recommend. Only two blocks away, under the city cathedral (“Notre Dame”?), which had a stunning light display at night that you have to see, it was built on top of the old Roman outpost that was the original founding of bone. During the cave tour, under the church and the city, we walked on moments earlier, we saw the old herringbone wall from the original Roman wall. now underneath the modern city. The Drouhin cave tour and Grand Cru tasting is amazing (do it!), but the Saint-Felix Caveaux de Degustation was a master class on Burgundy. The education, experience, and service was off the charts. Literally, down the stairs from our room 221, we dove into a cellar from the 13th century and found out more about terroir than we could have imagined finding. We chose the immersion grands terroir and it was sublime. The personal service, advice, and education that was delivered by the Sommelier was exceptional. I can’t recommend another place more that this, book the Grand Cru suite and the Immersion Grands Terroir experience. Lastly, the welcome and feelings we got from the moment we stepped inside to the drop off at the railway (GM literally dropped everything, grabbed blankets and the Polaris when our car reservation no showed, and drove us to the train station), it was the experience we didn’t know we needed but knew we wanted, From the bottom of my heart, Merci!

This is very good hotel almost in the central heart of Beaune - nothing is more than 10 minutes walk away. Service was very friendly and efficient (with one minor exception) and the rooms were attractive and well presented. The bathroom was functional rather than luxurious. We really liked the bar and the outdoor area and great compliments to the two main bar staff who were very attentive and excellent cocktail makers (when we needed a break from the delicious Burgundy!) Compliments also to the Concierge for excellent restaurant recommendations and efficient rservations. The one area where I fee this hotel does not reach the standards expected of a hotel of this class was breakfast. We found this disappointing, adequate to get the day started but not someting to be enjoyed especially.

Abbiamo avuto il soggiorno più piacevole a L'Hôtel. La nostra camera era spaziosa, comoda, mantenuta tesa e tranquilla. Belle camere. Le scelte del colazione erano abbondanti e deliziose. Grande caffè! Al nostro arrivo, ci era stato avvertito di un pneumatico piatto. Poteva essere stato un vero disastro, ma la persona del personale del dipartimento frontale (credo Marie?) ha preso la cura e rapidamente trovato una soluzione. Egli andò sopra e oltre a prendersi cura di questo, e anche andò al nostro posto per farci sapere che la meccanica era lì e stava fissando il pneumatico. (Grazie!!) L’intero personale era così cortese e gentile. Il nostro pasto era troppo timido. OM! Dinner di pollo di destinazione. Non ho mai avuto pollo che ha gusto così bene. Sto cercando di capire come tornare a sapere per quel uccello. Mi dispiace solo che non hanno avuto più notti per prolungare il nostro soggiorno. Nel corso degli anni abbiamo soggiornato in 2 altri siti hotel di buona qualità, ma L'Hôtel è il migliore della zona!

Hotel di grande prestigio con alle spalle una storia gloriosa. Punto di riferimento per chi si ritrova nel centro di Cortina per la sua posizione strategica. Classe e professionalità si respirano in tutta la struttura per la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale all'interno di una location molto curata. Eccellente il ristorante per il servizio e la qualità del cibo. Tutti molto bravi i collaboratori dell'hotel ma una menzione particolare va al hedge concierge Lorenzo capace di dare ogni risposta alle esigenze di ei clienti.

Hotel incantevole in un abbue del secolo 11. È fascinante, funebri e per coloro che amano un po 'di avventura e storia. Ci spurgiamo sulla suite Citreau, che ha una grande camera da letto, una bella camera da letto e una grande bagno. Ci sono le scale in ogni parte, quindi si consiglia. Questo hotel è perfettamente situato nel centro della città. Passeggiate fuori dalla porta anteriore e si trovate ovunque in pochi minuti. Parcheggio gratuito è disponibile nelle vicinanze. La colazione è eccellente e il personale è al massimo.

Arrived Monday 15 May for one night’s stay. Good welcome at reception, spacious car park. Hotel in central location, walk to all the Town’s attractions. Very reasonable price – very tatty inside. Room spacious, carpet stained. Building work in progress everywhere around the hotel. Surprised no mention of Building work on ***********. Car park - areas piled with builders’ materials and discarded furniture. We weren’t alarmed, because the builders stop work at the end of the day. Fire doors in the hotel slam shut (automatically – as you let them go). So we were awoken by other guests coming in later and inadvertently slamming the doors. Taking a shower – the head ‘fell’ off the wall onto my husband while showering! At 6.00am (YES 6.00am)! the builders began their day – driving a loud forklift truck through a passage to deliver more materials, going back and forth with more and more loads. Frequent noisy manouvering of the vehicle, plus the annoying beeping of the reversing warning. We were woken up. What are the hotel owners thinking? 8.00am would be an entirely UNreasonable time for the builders to start banging around. 6.00am is ridiculous. I put on my clothes at 6.15 and went to reception to complain. The young guy on night duty was kind and received the complaint well. Gave us a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast – just about ok. Not great. Nice to have fresh fruit cut up. I was glad we weren't paying for it. WIFI On arrival you are given the WiFi password etc …. With a note explaining that the portal is closed between 22h30 and 6h. “Le portail est ferme de 22h30 a 6h”. So don’t bother wanting WiFi late in the evening or during the night! Travellers – don’t stay here. Whatever the price, you won’t get a good night’s sleep unless they solve those banging interior doors and take control of their building contractors. A miserable experience.

Proprio al lato dell'autostrada. Accesso facile al centro di Beaune con auto, tuttavia non a piedi. La camera è ben progettata e il letto è comodo. Ha piscina e altre strutture per bambini. Un piacevole soggiorno in generale.

Ritorno dopo il confinamento e sì, conferma del giudizio precedente. È fuori dal centro storico, ma in 5 minuti a piedi ci si arriva. L'antica città della Borgogna-Franca Contea, territorio della Côte d'Or, offre bei palazzi, bei negozi e si respira, oltre al benessere, l'aroma di Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Chablis, Beaujolais. Meritevole di visita è l'Hotel-Dieu, palazzo dai tetti policromi, con arazzi, e col salone trasformato in dormitorio dei poveri, con letti in scomparti e tendone di velluto rosso che garantisce la riservatezza, e con la dotazione di boccali d'argento. Dicono sia stata la caritatevole volontà del Duca per meritarsi il Paradiso. Il Mercure ha un ampio parcheggio gratuito, offre un giardino, una piscina scoperta, un pergolato adiacente al ristorante, che è consigliabile, es. ottimi il patè de fois gras, il filetto, i dessert. Buona, varia, abbondante la colazione del mattino. Quanto alla camera: poichè Mebro Platinum di All, mi hanno promosso e dato un'ampia suite, con armadio spazioso, bollitore con temporizzatore per i vari tipi di bevande calde, macchina per caffè espresso con cialde, vasta sala da bagno con vasca e doccia separate. Aggiungo la cortesia del personale.
