Hotel in zona Norwell View Farm Glamping, Bath

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. I chose this Guest House due to its proximity to the train station. I arrived later than the check-in time and was quickly given my room key and instructions by the friendly staff who were there. As this is a guesthouse, I was aware that there would be no lift and one of the staff members kindly took my bag up for me. The room was clean, quite cosy with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The towels were of a decent size and the furniture looked quite new. Room temperature was great after braving the rain and cooler days. I chose the room with private bathroom which was spotless. Breakfast was a continental style breakfast with cereals, toast, muffins, yoghurts and fruit with tea/coffee and juices also available. I would most definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel that made our journey and evening so much better. Originally booked another hotel but it was so dirty and staff was so rude, had to leave and find an alternative late at night. Thank you for accommodating our last minute booking! The bed is super comfy, cosy room and friendly staff. Would come back again if we are visiting Bath again :)

After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

L'hotel è raccomandato dal figlio. Sono davvero sorpreso di me, soprattutto il letto è super comodo, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, conveniente per il viaggio, e l'atteggiamento di servizio è particolarmente buono

It has been a pleasure to stay in this hotel. A very convenient location to the town centre & the rail station. The service & the facilities in the room & hotel are very good, except the sink in the bathroom is some kind of block, but the receptionist came up to fix it better to use. Overall, I would recommend my friends if they visit Bath.
