Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments - Sagrada Familia Suites

Decent 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Fairly new but it's good know it's basically a vacation rental not a hotel. A few of the items in the building and apartment were working and they were slow to fix some of them. I called the day before we checked in as the instructions tell you and they only have reception from 9-5. No problem, they said there's a self-service check-in kiosk. It was broken when we got there so we called using the "emergency" phone and got the code to get a key. the self-service kiosk was broken 5 of the 6 days we were there (there was a sign on it during the week). The toilet was running, which they fixed the following day. the cooktop did not work and they kept saying someone would fix it but never did before we left. That was a pretty big problem since we expected having an apartment would allow us to do some cooking. You see a theme here, things broken and not fixing quickly. Nice place, I just wouldn't stay there again.

Unfortunately, we had bedbugs in our unit. My wife got bitten several times. As well, the washer/dryer didn’t work properly. Sometimes it would appear that the wash cycle was run, but we would discover that the clothing was not even wet. Also, the dryer cycle left the clothing still damp, even after 3hrs of drying.

The flat is big, location is good. But there are many mosquito when we went into the room, i think i had kill around 10. Also, because of the building is a bit old, there have some smell in the bathroom. Suggest they provide some aroma for the room.

The front desk was always extremely helpful. Location close to metro. The walls and floors are thin. We could hear the people above us playing music late night.

Place was impeccable clean and people at front desk were very friendly and well manner. They will stand on their feet whet someone approached front desk

Very nice apartment friendly and service minded staff. Close to subway and restaurants.

I like the fact that the property was close to la sagrada familia and the train station, also the guy working the counter was really nice and helpful. What I didn’t like was the fact that they close the lobby at 5pm and didn’t open till 9am. For a party of 4 they only gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper with no replacement. I actually had to buy extra and wait till the next day 9am to call them since at that time we were already gone doing tours. Also no garbage bag so we couldn’t even take the trash out, I had to buy some as well. I think they need to work on their supplies since I paid a lot of money for our stay.

This place is amazing. Located 5-10 min walk from Sagrada Familia. Lots of little cafes and shops nearby. Little minimart just a few doors down. Very clean, very spacious- fit my family of 6 no problem. We showed up way early and needed a place to put our stuff. They have lockers if you need. The front desk clerk was super nice and super helpful. The apartment even has a clothing washer/dryer (one machine) which we used and worked great. Perfect spot- couldn’t have asked for anything better.
