UUtente ospiteThis hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

UUtente ospiteBad impression on their coffee shop. Had breakfast yesterday and saw a lot of tables with used dishes piling up. Obviously guests had left but seems like no one is cleaning up. And the table I sat at has water stains all over it. Looked like whoever doing the cleaning did not not look and only got job half done.
Room I was in the A/C was not working properly. I told the front desk in the morning and asked them to fix it but when I came back in the evening, the A/C is still now working. The draining system in the bathroom sink did not work. I had water in the sink when I left the room in the morning and when I came back in the evening, the water in the sink is gone but I found out the drainage system is still not working. It shows whoever serviced the room did not have the heart to get the job done correctly.
One good thing to talk about is the hotel did offer me another room due to the A/C problem.
Looks like the management is not doing their job.

Il buffet è molto variabile, la visualizzazione è buona e pulita, il cibo è di buono standard.
La camera dell'hotel è di buona dimensione, molto pulita e confortevole.
Un grande complimento per la loro AC che è estremamente tranquilla ed efficiente. Molto raro da trovare all'interno 5-star hotel in Asia.

UUtente ospiteFace-to-face staff are excellent with English speaking guests. Over the phone speaking English at night it’s impossible to order in-room dining or even communicate to have dishes collected. Food takes up to 45 minutes to arrive and is cold and in poor condition. Ordered an Angus burger - cold wedges and the bun was hard and cracked (perhaps left under heat lamp for too long); very poor value for money. Even buffet breakfasts are a little rough around the edges. On day 1 there was honey. On day 2 there was no will in the restaurant to supply honey or even check with the kitchen.
Again, all staff (including janitors and handymen) are usually amazing and helpful. The team went out of their way to make my child feel welcome with free toys and activity packs.
