After reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

Location: Strategically located in the heart of Ningbo, the hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Cheng Huang Night Market, the pedestrian street, shopping malls, and many popular restaurants. Super convenient for exploring the city. Staff: Check-in was pleasant and smooth, with friendly and warm staff at reception. They were very helpful in giving us navigation tips around the area. The team even went the extra mile to make our wedding anniversary special. A big thank you to Ms. Lu (吕小姐) for her thoughtful service! Amenities: The self-laundry area and gym are tucked away in a corner, so they’re convenient to use without disturbing guests. Room: Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It feels like the hotel has been newly renovated. The environment is comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast: The breakfast spread is good and offers enough variety if you prefer to dine in the hotel. Note: During winter, the hotel uses a centralised air-conditioning system, which means the rooms are set to heating mode. There are rooms with and without windows, so do consider your preference. I miei figli amavano il gioco soft all'interno e nutrivano i pecocchi, i conigli e le gemme. La piscina all'aperto con gli slidi sembra che sarebbe fantastico per i bambini nei mesi estivi. L'isola di Zhoushan con spiagge incredibili è 1h 30min di distanza, favoloso giorno fuori se siete rimasti per qualche giorno. Sarei felice di rimanere di nuovo!

一條絕對真實的評價 環境：民宿在一個世外桃源小山村裡麪，開進村的時候有早櫻和龍鱗壩很好看，酒店門外就是棲霞山古道徒步起點，對徒步人士非常友好，民宿整體環境避世且美麗，有一個高台可以俯瞰村子，可以看到古橋流水，視野很棒，晚上天氣好可以肉眼觀星。 設施：房間設施齊全，中央空調➕取暖器，山裡晚上冷也不怕，基礎的房間就很大，雙床房有一個小庭院一樣的前廳，朋友一起來的話可以在裏面喝酒打牌，大床房更大一點是一室一廳的設計，活動空間更大，且完全可以當做親子房住三個人，衞生間乾濕分離，吹風機給的是戴森，不錯不錯。 服務：前台小哥和小姐姐都非常熱情，到達很晚還等着我們，出遊前提前加微信問需不需用餐，出門徒步前熱心詢問水有沒有帶夠，兩天的早飯都不一樣，水果超級甜的，臨走還送了我們小蛋糕，真的超棒！ 地理位置：如果是來棲霞山古道徒步那非常方便，如果是去四明山徒步需驅車約四十分鐘左右，徒步完還可以去溪口古鎮逛一圈並用餐，距離懸巖村開車約1小時，最近早櫻開的很好，我們去的時候陽光明媚真是lucky！ 如果你出於四明山腳下的民宿比較簡陋，或者想徒步兩條路線，非常推薦這家民宿，店裡還有非常可愛的哈士奇養樂多和旺仔還有肥貓貓可以擼！ 希望下次還有機會來！！大家都來住！！

The nature around the hotel is amazing, but the facilities are quite old. It’s good place to have rest from the city noise. Very comfortable house, with nice balcony and huge bathtub. Breakfast was also tasty. There is nothing around the hotel within a walking distance, so we felt bored as we like active leisure. Also there is no lighting so you cannot really walk around in the evening. it is better to stay in the room after 7pm as the pathway to the house has no lights as well. I wouldn’t suggest this place for families with kids below 4 years old because of steep stairs and lack of baby equipment like cribs. But it’s a great place for couples to spend one day together in the nature. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell.
