Maya Ubud is by far one of the best resorts in which I have had the privilege to stay! As a solo female traveller. expect superior service, 100% safety and security, luxury and serenity in a setting that is unique and truly special. The resort is set in 18 hectares (that's what someone told me) of forest, greenery and gardens -- including its own rice field and garden that serves the restaurant, a river and dense forest. The views around the property are spectacular. The restaurant is fantastic with local Balinese theatre and dancing entertainment. I shout out to host Darma who kept my Riesling glass full! All the staff are not only VERY knowledgeable, they will do everything to make you happy. Well worth booking taxis and tours through them. The rooms are huge: I had a an exceptional double and upgraded to a Villa with a pool on my last three days -- 200% worth it! (I was in room 708 overlooking the rice fields) The infinity pool overhanging the river is for adults only. It is centred in the middle of the forest and gardens (Note: only two of the beds get full sun all day) and it is well serviced for drinks and food as one of the restaurants is right above it. GEtting into Ubud town is easy: there's a daily shuttle for guest every hour from 9am to 5pm. And the hotel has its own taxis so it is very safe and easy for the solo female traveler. And now the Spa, THE SPA! You must book 2 hours in the spa and make sure you end it with the signature bath overlooking the river -- the experience is sublime and exceptionally beautiful it leaves you calm, relaxed and feeling special. Overall, Maya Ubud should be part of your visit. Highly recommended

È stato tutto perfetto. Porteremo sempre nel cuore questo posto è tutto lo staff, persone gentilissime è molto attente al benessere degli ospiti. Stupenda l’atmosfera che si respira in mezzo alla giungla. Si mangia molto bene anche al ristorante dove sono disponibili numerosi piatti Indonesiani e occidentali. Ottima la colazione. È possibile visitare e trascorrere qualche ora in piscina, anche nell’altro loro resort The Kayon Jungle, grazie alla navetta gratuita che mettono a disposizione durante la giornata.

The resort is serene , beautiful. Great hospitality. Staff are friendly, and great photo skills too😂. I stayed in ubud chalet for 2 nights. The rice terrace view from our room is breathtaking. The breakfast spread is good. Not too much variety but enough. Many activities to explore in the resort itself. We had picnic luncb on the boat and gardenr dinner. Enjoyed both . Food was good. Swimming pool area is big. They even give goodnight gift to every room. So touched by the little touches.

Outstanding surroundings in pure nature- very much in the jungle, so quite an authentic experience. Beautiful rooms and ours was very private with a lovely private terrace. Pool area is stunning with jungle infinity pool. Unbelievable service - warm, friendly and very attentive. What a lovely family. Brother Putu couldn’t do enough for us and organised his friend to be our driver for the day and the chap was fantastic (His name is Wyan) He took us to multiple places for a set fare for 5 hours but as we wanted to see more he stayed on an extra 2 without question and didn’t ask for more money (unbelievable kindness) and seemed shocked when we offered him more. Putu’s sisiter is the loveliest person with the warmest smile. The breakfast is very good - excellent strong Bali coffee (quite muddy towards the end) but they happily gave me a little jug of hot water each time. The banana pancakes are out of this world and a must. Some things that would improve the experience - the room was beautiful but did have a strong smell of damp throughout ( it is in the jungle ) some incense throughout the room and bathroom would have helped. There is no facilities for snacks or drinks in the evening. Putu is always there so a little honesty bar with a fridge of cold drinks and snacks would be a great idea. We arrived very hungry and couldn’t get any food. It’s out the way of the centre or any goings on but it really doesn’t matter if you have a driver. If you arrive late at night, make sure you eat before you get there.

Passare un sacco di tempo all'hotel a causa della malattia, e sono contento che siamo rimasti qui. Hanno avuto il miglior letto di circa dieci hotel diversi durante il nostro soggiorno in Indonesia, e questo dice davvero molto. Il personale è bello, tranquillo e un bel ambiente. Solo negativo/camera per il miglioramento, posso dire, è che è facile per gli insetti venire al bagno perché è collegato al piccolo giardino. Dovrebbero anche considerare la chiusura dei piccoli giochi sul tetto, in modo che i geckos non possano entrare nella stanza durante la notte.

Villa is good, so I considered to stay a bit longer. It’s a pity that you can’t book the villa straight at the reception. Only through what’s up or trip/booking com. So be sure, if you want to continue your staying- informing the staff in advance is not enough. They let me check out and let go to search for another hotel for 1 night. Even though I told them before I would like to continue staying in my room. Generally facilities are good: clean rooms, hot water in the bathroom, convenient location, quiet place 🙂
