Puri Bagus Resort in Lovina is heavenly. Everything from the lovely, detached villa, to the infinity pool is delightful. We stayed a week enjoying the beach, pool, sunsets, spa treatments, cultural show, food and beverage, and surroundings. The Deluxe Ocean Villa is a stone's throw from the beach and is very spacious with a huge main room, ocean view patio, large bathroom and showers both inside and outdoors (in a secluded space off the bathroom). Spa treatment is excellent and very affordable. The outdoor, yet private, spa treatment setting is spectacular with a close-up beach view, and beautiful pools of water and fountains around you. Yoga class can be arranged with the resort's very talented instructor, also director of the spa. Yoga takes place in a special building with glass doors opening onto the beautifully landscaped resort grounds and Bali Sea. Breakfast by the pool is a treat and features all you can eat hot and cold specialties from a buffet. Eggs and other items made to order. The management and staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is a high priority for this staff. In the surrounding area, we enjoyed nearby waterfalls in the mountains, and hot spring swimming parks, both in the mountains and on the shore. Cooking classes can be found at the resort or within walking distance at Warung Bambu Pemaron. Lovina is a fun town to visit (free shuttle from the resort in the mornings). We stayed at Puri Bagus in 2016 as well and thoroughly enjoyed our visits on both stays. With the south of Bali becoming so much more crowded and noiser, we prefer the peace and tranquility of the north.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo magico resort solo 3 notti…troppo poco per godere di questo fantastico e sorprendente luogo.! Tutto perfetto!!! 10 stelle per tutto lo staff.. un particolare grazie a Kartika, Yumi, Yessi, Ayu …che con i loro calorosi sorrisi , delicata gentilezza e la massima attenzione ad ogni minima esigenza ci hanno coccolato fino all’ultimo minuto . Grande professionalità!!! Abbiam cenato ogni sera presso il ristorante della struttura, pietanze gustose sia per gli occhi che per il palato. Colazione abbondante e deliziosa, grande varietà e scelta tra leccornie dolci e salate. Eccezionale !!! La nostra camera , al secondo piano, era bellissima e pulita!! Sicuramente torneremo presto !!!! Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff

We absolutely enjoy ours I'll stay in komaneka. Since the moment we arrived, we were treated like royals and we felt very welcome by all the staff. This is a must visit resort especially if you're looking to spend some quality amazing time as couples or on a honeymoon. The amenities are fantastic and the food is amazing. But nothing beats the private infinity pool facing the forest. Stuff in this place go out of the way even to the extent where we were just surprised that hotel stuff would actually accommodate all our request no matter how troublesome it was. Extremely saddened to leave at the end of our vacation but this is a place I am definitely looking to come back to.

We just came back from our holiday and Amandari is a beautiful place we were so happy there. Everyone was so nice and attentive especially DewaAyu from the restaurant. We look forward to her wonderful smile everyday and she always was so helpful and understanding. We will miss DewaAyu and everyone dearly and hopefully we will meet again one day. Amandari was one of the best places we have ever stayed and we will cherish those special moments forever.

Un posto bellissimo con tanto potenziale ma.... Durante la nostra prima notte, abbiamo sentito un topo che girava sul tetto per tutta la notte. Ci siamo svegliati e abbiamo trovato cacca di topo ovunque, anche vicino al letto. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare camera e non abbiamo sentito più nulla di notte dopo aver cambiato la nostra stanza, ma ogni mattina abbiamo trovato cacca di topo vicino al letto. Inoltre, non poter utilizzare Grab è un grosso problema. Gli autisti locali fanno pagare una quantità ridicola di denaro, quindi se hai intenzione di fare un giro nel centro di Ubud, questo resort non fa per te.

This place is a must, as the staff are OUTSTANDING. I had an issue with noise from another room and they promptly solved the issue with kindness...they go above and beyond to make you feel like you are really at HOME. The grounds are beautiful. I will definitely return here...Thank u Kajane Team!!!!!

Hotel nel cuore centrale di Ubud . Unica nota positiva la piscina e la posizione. La struttura è enorme e mal curata . Le camere sono sporchissime, le docce dei bagni terrificanti . Nonostante questo ci saranno almeno 30 persone del persone che girano per l’hotel tutto il giorno . Abbiamo dato uno sguardo alle camere con piscina privata . Piscina diventata uno stagno verde totalmente lasciato andare . Peccato perché la posizione è ottima e avrebbe un bel potenziale ma menefreghismo puro per la cura dell’ambiente. Aria condizionata vecchissima è rotta Lenzuola macchiate Cassaforte rotta Servizio lavanderia ( che è specificato che ci sia ) non viene eseguito Ristorante carissimo No, ci sono strutture in centro molto più valide , oppure molto più economiche ma con gli stessi standard di pulizia . Ps: ci siamo fatti chiamare un taxi dalla reception con cui abbiamo concordato un prezzo , dopodiché il taxi sta ci ha chiesto il doppio! Inutile dire che non abbiamo accettato la cifra

I always love staying at Komaneka Rasa Sayang when in Ubud and have stayed there many times on my own, with friends and with family. My last visit was with my brother who joined me from Cape Town. He absolutely loved it. The service is exceptional and I always feel very spoilt by the amazing staff and it does feel like it is my second home in Bali. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ubud. From the moment I arrive, I am always welcomed back like family. The rooms are so beautiful and spacious with gorgeous bathrooms and balconies with daybeds overlooking lush greenery. A jar of home made cookies and fruit basket is a lovely touch. The hotel is set back from the main road but it is so peaceful and only steps away from the centre of Ubud with lots of great shops and restaurants and the monkey forest. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing surrounded by palm trees, nature and the sound of running water from the river below. The staff are so attentive at the pool and it is a great spot to enjoy the daily complimentary afternoon tea. The breakfast is delicious and has lots of variety. The restaurant setting is beautiful overlooking the pool. If something is not on the breakfast menu, just ask and the staff will go out of their way to make it for you if possible. I wish to compliment Ari at reception for her exceptional and always polite and friendly service. I did miss seeing Ibu Desak and Sitiari this time. Can’t wait to be back there again

I have stayed here before in the past and booked 8 days. Was looking forwards to staying here again but it was not the same. Still beautiful villas and rooms and beautiful gardens and pool but everything else was a complete failure. First they no longer do a shuttle run into Ubud centre. My room was not available for my first night. So put in an alternative one which I was happy with. Just not happy that because I was going to be moved the next day I really couldn't unpack and settle in. They could have asked me if I wanted to stay in that room as it didn't get anyone else in for the next 7 days. In your room you no longer get the supply of tea, coffee and sugar but you get the cups and kettle. I had to plug mine in in the bathroom as there was no socket near the tray on the cupboard. So I also washed my cup in the bathroom and one day left my teaspoon in there next to my toothbrush. When I came home after an outing the receptionist pulled me up about housekeeping said a teaspoon was missing!!! Really awkward and not appropriate. Then one morning I wanted to have a nice early bath in the beautiful bathtub, but the plug would not stay down and keep the water in. So that didn't happen until later in the day. Also the bathroom towels had seen better days. At the start of my stay I ordered dinner from the restaurant. That was a big failure. The cordeon Blue was rough and dry with no self saucing, only a little bowl of tartare sauce which is normal for a fish meal but not chicken and the chips were the frozen type and uneatable. So I didn't eat here for the rest of my stay. The street outside has become very popular since the pandemic with several new really good restaurants, cafes and lovely spas.

Come posso dire che questo hotel? Ho prenotato solo una notte il mio primo giorno qui. A mezzogiorno ho detto alla reception che dovevo prolungare il soggiorno il giorno successivo. Mi è stato detto che c'era una camera ma era più costosa. Ho accettato, poiché la stanza non era ancora pronta, ho fatto prima il check-in, ho noleggiato un'auto in hotel per due giorni e sono tornato la sera e ho chiesto di prolungare il soggiorno mi ha detto che la stanza era piena e che dovevo andarmene il giorno dopo, mi è sembrato particolarmente poco professionale. Tutto il resto è sopportabile, ma la cosa peggiore è l'acqua calda. L'acqua calda nella mia stanza può essere normale per un po', ed estremamente calda per un po', come se si staccasse uno strato di pelle. Cambia automaticamente la temperatura circa ogni 20 secondi. Devo calcolarlo quando faccio la doccia. La frequenza dell'acqua calda è troppo faticosa. Non tendo a dare recensioni negative agli hotel. Nonostante questo, gli do comunque 4 stelle come incoraggiamento. Infine, vorrei menzionare che nella stanza ci sono gechi, ragni e molte formiche. Se vuoi avere uno stretto contatto con piccoli animali, puoi scegliere questo hotel e creare un intero zoo. Infine, vorrei che l'hotel un'attività prospera. Comunque non riesco a trovare un senso di appartenenza in questo hotel!
