This Lake Front Vacation Rental on Lake Shasta was acquired in 2008. We recently renovated our home again in 2023 complete with new flooring in the master bath, fresh paint, and new decor. This is an exquisite retreat!The property is a very roomy 2,300 s.f. family vacation rental on a third of an acre lot, with a game room in the garage with a pool table and on-site parking. This resort house is located in the quaint community of Lakehead and backs to Shasta Trinity National Forest Land with a private gate to the Forest Service trail directly to the Lake. There is nothing between you and the Lake except your desire to get there! The lake is full this year and the water is right behind the house! Currently, you can not get a boat under the bridge in Doney Cove. The closest marina to moor your boat is Antlers. The house sleeps 9 adults in very comfy beds with plenty of room for additional children. There is plenty of room in this house to accommodate large groups. You will be more than pleased with our well-stocked home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve gourmet or quick easy meals. There is a second full-sized refrigerator in the garage. A large shaded private deck looks directly into the forest and the lake cove behind the property. The patio area is set up for outdoor meals or relaxing with a table, chairs, and barbecue.Our property is family-owned and operated. See our rate schedule and calendar for more info. Responsible renters must be at least 25 years old and present on the property during the rental period. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with an additional deposit (leash laws are enforced in the community). This is a Non-smoking house but there are designated areas to smoke outside.
