Location was really good , the roof top view was the showstopper of the property. As we were travelling with an infant we found the staff very helpful with preparing the meals for the baby. Arabian sea view room was excellent.

È a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della città e si può mangiare molti negozi. Se siete puri vegetariani, andate a molti dei ristoranti Pure Veg incredibili e a prezzi accessibili vicino.
Inoltre, si può trovare un sacco di scimmie all'interno del resort che è bello perché non si può trovare nessuno sulla strada.
In generale, è un hotel decente ma ho prenotato tardi, quindi ho dovuto pagare un premio.

OVerall a lovely hotel and super nice staff at reception. Rooms are very spacious and nice comfy beds.
Slight communication error when we asked for a tuk tuk and he took us to somewhere we hadn't asked & good job I has my google maps to recognise we were headed to wrong place!
Pool is lovely for a swim and nice to have complimentary drinks at 430pm too with a little snack, the games area upstairs was fun too but just very hot up there.

Ho avuto una grande esperienza all'hotel. L'interno delle camere è molto interessante con un design antico e un letto confortevole e abbastanza spazio per giocare con i bambini. È più adatto per il soggiorno familiare. L'architettura di tutto il luogo è impressionante e tutti i dettagli sulle decorazioni, anche il libretto, il letto, le lampade, il vase. Tutti sono così buoni che volevo chiedergli dove hanno comprato tutti gli ornamenti. La piscina era piuttosto pulita. Ma volevo che ci fossero anelli di nuoto anche per i bambini. E non c'è spazio di parcheggio all'interno del complesso, ma i veicoli possono essere parcheggiati fuori dove hanno fatto spazio. Bene comportato e personale amichevole non c'era niente da denunciare.

The hospitality was excellent and breakfast was sumptuous . They provided hot meals and it was the best. Different types of idly’s served was just awesome.
Front office was caring and helpful and provided a very welcoming environment. Check in past midnight was fast and efficient . Rooms were large and the bed and pillow was of high quality . We were able to sleep within 5 mins. Aircon was clean and fresh.

The property was excellent and well maintained. The staff were very warm and attentive. Would like to book again. The only slight glitch was in the breakfast rates. We had made a booking without breakfast. As per trip.com offer breakfast rate was Rs 450 per person to be paid at the hotel. But the actual rates were Rs 750 plus tax. So double check the rates with the reception before availing.

Un soggiorno meraviglioso a Gateway Hotel Calicut. Confortabile, Scenic e Family-Friendly Vi abbiamo soggiornato a Gateway Hotel Calicut per due giorni come gruppo di 20 familiari, compresi i bambini, durante una cerimonia di riunificazione familiare e convocazione. Abbiamo prenotato sei camere sul quinto piano, tutte con una bella vista sul mare e sulla piscina, che rendeva il nostro soggiorno speciale.
Il personale dell'hotel è stato eccezionalmente amichevole, supportivo e attento, assicurando che tutte le nostre esigenze fossero soddisfatte con calore e efficienza.
Uno dei punti di vista del nostro soggiorno è stato il complimentare colazione, che era eccellente, una vasta e deliziosa diffusione di piatti locali e continentali che si occupavano sia adulti che bambini.
In generale, abbiamo avuto una esperienza memorabile e divertente. Gateway Hotel Calicut ha fornito la perfetta miscela di comfort, ospite e bellezza scenica. Lo consigliamo fortemente per le famiglie o i gruppi che visitano la città.

UUtente ospitethe base rooms in the old section of the building were very small, and there was no ventilation. thess rooms were just under their restaurant and was separate from the building that was shown in the pictures. since we were two females travelling the hotel ”upgraded” me to an ”executive” room which was in the new section of the hotel. that room was even smaller with one 5×4 bed and just enough space to pass through. the only advantage was it was in the new section and didn't look secluded.
breakfast options were very limited.
the best thing about the hotel was it's location. situated in the heart of fort kochi, it is very close to the fort kochi beach and other attractions.

UUtente ospiteI was weary about booking as the website photos looked quite tired. All of the photos are really old - it was an amazing stay and so much better than I expected. I enjoyed the complementary pottery making and the tea cart in the afternoons. The food à la carte was absolutely delicious. I avoided the buffet a bit as I do in all hotels. The pool is clean and there is excellent service, with staff helping you with towels, umbrellas, and drinks. The rooms are really pretty. Good air con. The gym is good and has air con although the air con is not as powerful as in the bedrooms. The gym has two treadmills, a static bike, basic leg press, weight rack and bench, and some of the arm/shoulder machines too. There were only a few downsides. 1) The beach that it backs onto is actually quite gross (there was nappy in the sand and gunk that looked like sewage), but it’s easy to avoid this. 2) The beach has a real drop from the sand into sea so it’s not very safe to swim in unless you want to be smacked against the bank. These two things don’t matter though as the hotel is lovely and there is enough to do that you don’t need to go on the beach. 3) I booked 2 nights in one booking and 1 night in another booking. I asked when I booked the single, third night, whether I can keep the same room. They said they’d let me know at check in. They didn’t let me know at check in. They said they’d tell me on the second day in the day, but nothing. I kept asking at reception and I called them on the phone twice, and they kept saying they’d call me back. It was 9.30pm on the night before I’d have to move rooms before they told me I could stay. I’m not really sure why it took so long or they messed me around on this as 3 of my exact rooms were available on the website for those nights, so by that logic it would not have been a problem!

NNevrilFavoloso esperienza. Favoloso cibo e personale modesto e amichevole. Le camere e l'esterno della proprietà, anche se grandi, potrebbe essere molto meglio con un cappotto di pittura e problemi di piombo minori risolti oltre a rimuovere le tinture dalle cucine esterne. Sicuramente consigliere questo hotel. Grande posizione. Abbiamo anche assunto la barca, e questo è stato il punto di vista del nostro viaggio. La fornitura di cibo era adatto per un re e abbiamo avuto il nostro chef personale con altri tre che ci aspettavano!

UUtente ospiteWe were in Kovalam at this property for a week. First things first, the rooms we got were nice, had a decent balcony overlooking the front of the property, the air conditioning and hot water worked well. It is really close to a wonderful beach, some small shops and local food joints and only a short walk away from a quiet beach and spots that you could enjoy.
The property itself had a lot of work going on, so I can understand that they were preparing for a major tourist season and it might become better. The pool was dry and I was hoping that I'd get to enjoy some pool time but that did not happen. Perhaps due to the low tourist season, the restaurant had limited dish choices but the food was good. The staff is very sweet and nice but the hotel can do with some more thorough upgrades with housekeeping, such as providing fresh towels timely and so on. Otherwise, the hotel is nice but my family and I felt that for the price we paid, we could have gotten more for the price. Nevertheless, it is a good and decent hotel, I wouldn't keep high expectations. It will certainly get 10/10 for it's location and sweet staff.
This is not to reflect on the hotel management or staff directly or negatively but it would be nice if they set ground rules for some big tourist groups they get, particularly the Gujarati tour groups, in reminding them of maintaining the calm and quiet on the property. Again, it is more about the tourist behavior than anything on the hotel itself.

Per coloro che hanno un bagaglio pesante, l'hotel offre un servizio di trasporto aereo senza saldatura e complimentare 24/7, che è un vantaggio significativo per le arrivi tardi di notte o le partenza mattina.

Бассейн небольшой, но у номеров с видом на сад и клубных есть свои бассейны, поэтому людей было мало, спокойно можно было разместиться на лежаках.
Не понравились навязчивые таксисты у въезда в отель. Вызвали убер, так они не дали водителю нас забрать! Пришлось подняться чуть выше (в сторону отеля Гоколам) и только там мы смогли сесть в машину. Очень неприятно, а для отеля такого класса не понятно почему разрешают стоянку такси, почувствовали себя не в безопасности! Имейте ввиду, если будете пользоваться убером, что на территорию отеля водитель заехать не сможет и даже к воротам, нужно пройти выше по дороге, только там можно будет сесть в машину, минуя эту мафию таксистов.
