"This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine."

UUtente ospiteLì sono arrivato molto tardi, e il cuoco mi ha aiutato a preparare un pranzo di riso di pollo, il lobby mi ha sentito confortevole e caldo, e il colazione era immacolata, il cuoco mi ha fatto provare sia l’uovo Benedict che l’avocado. Ho dimenticato di prendere le foto della stanza, ma è identico alle foto elencate su trip.com. L'hotel ha un estetico coloniale francese, il loro cortile e la piscina sono anche molto invitanti.

My room offered a fantastic view of the football stadium, which was a great bonus. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with a particularly good shower that made each morning refreshing.
The room itself and the bed were among the best I've encountered - truly comfortable and well-appointed. If you're looking for quality accommodations with all the essentials done right, I highly recommend KKP Hotel. It's perfect for travellers who prioritise a great room and excellent service. The hotel does not provide any other services like a pool, bar or restaurant.

UUtente ospiteOnederz Kempot is a clean and welcoming guest house with a beautiful pool area that's perfect for relaxation. The food served here is quite good and adds to the overall pleasant experience. They offer entertainment options including table tennis and other games, which is a nice touch for guests looking to have some fun. Unfortunately, most of the games equipment is in need of repair and appears quite broken down. I hope the management will invest in upgrading or replacing these amenities soon, as they have great potential to enhance the guest experience. Despite this issue, the game area concept provides good entertainment value and shows the guest house's commitment to offering more than just accommodation.

UUtente ospiteI costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts.
The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided.
Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder.
The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good.
I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

Very nice staff so kind and helpful, absolutely no trouble in 99% of Cambodia one tiny border dispute and people cancelled, it’s a shame to see such a fine hotel almost empty.
Lovely bar on the 7th floor with a view over the city and the food was excellent, so go like I did and enjoy.. and I am 80 😂

Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city.
The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out.
That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.
