Hotel in zona Natavan Monument, Baku

Небольшой,уютный отель в старом городе. Расположен в глубине улицы, во дворе, поэтому в номерах тихо. Не слышно ни машин, ни людей. Метро в 3 минутах ходьбы. Номер был делюкс, чистый и просторный. Всё есть для комфортного проживания. Лифт . Завтрак включен, каждому подают на подносе . Выбора нет. Оплачивать советую только по приезду. Нам оплатили местные через Букинг со своей карты и на ресепшн ни как не могли найти оплату. Работникам ресепшн за работу оценка два. Ноль информации и внимания. L'hotel è in ottima posizione, in centro. Il quartiere non è bellissimo ma la città è socura quindi non ci sono rischi. E' a mezz'ora dall'expo ma tenete conto del traffico terribile di Baku in certi orari. Colazione varia e abbondante. Camere spaziose e pulite. Non ha una vista particolare perchè non è vicino al mare. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Uno dei primi hotel di Baku, appartenente alla storica catena sovietica Inturist. L'hotel si affaccia sul Mar Caspio, anche se va detto che la vista non è particolarmente affascinante, considerando che il Mar Caspio appare piuttosto grigio, sporco e un po' triste. Pertanto, consiglierei di optare per le stanze interne, che offrono invece una splendida vista sulle Flame Towers. La posizione è comunque ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dal bellissimo centro storico di Baku. Le stanze sono piacevoli e spaziose, ben arredate e con letti grandi e rigidi (quindi molto comodi), garantendo un soggiorno confortevole. La sauna è piccola e presenta alcuni malfunzionamenti, mentre il bar è davvero ben fatto ed elegante, anche se gli addetti non sembrano conoscere davvero la loro professione. Il punto critico di questo hotel è infatti ia totale mancanza di professionalità del personale. Erano completamente assenti alla reception, impegnati in divertenti conversazioni tra di loro o concentrati sui loro smartphone. Va detto, però, e non va a loro merito, che al momento del check-out si sono mostrati tutti molto attenti e disponibili, addirittura ossequiosi, chiaramente sperando in una mancia. Alcuni addetti alle pulizie, invece, ci hanno persino inseguito per tutte le scale chiedendo la mancia, senza un reale motivo apparente, dato che le camere non erano mai pulite secondo lo standard della catena. Tuttavia, cari amici, è importante sottolineare che una mancia va guadagnata, e in questo caso sembra mancare totalemente una base di professionalità. In un certo senso, questa mancanza rovina la reputazione del prestigioso marchio Sheraton a Baku.

Il dipartimento frontale era riluttante a fornire bottiglia d'acqua supplementari, avevo prenotato la suite di famiglia e ancora erano riluttanti a fornire più di due bottiglie d'acqua che erano molto irritanti. La zona del colazione era troppo piena e penso che per affrontare questo punto il tempo del colazione dovrebbe essere dalle 7:00 alle 10:30, chiudere alle 10:00 fa troppo piena tra le 9:30 e le 10:00 e il momento è 10: La gente del ristorante si trova a vento e a parlare di tutto all'interno.

l'hotel è molto pulito, il personale molto cordiale, disponibile la camera era ampia, pulita per bene tutti i giorni, il bagno spazioso e confortevole, la colazione al 18 piano superpanoramico è internazionale, c'è di tutto, di qualità, forse i cornetti non sono il massimo. L'ubicazione è di fronte il port Baku mall, centro commerciale di solo abbigliamento ove è possibile trovare tutte le grandi firme internazionali e quindi italiane. sempre di fronte c' è un meraviglioso ristorante italiano di ottima qualità, oltre ad altri bar e ristoranti. Nei dintorni c'è ampia scelta per fare eventualmente colazione all'esterno. Nizami street è vicina, ma la parte pedonale dista qualche chilometro, a due passi dall'inizio dell'incantevole lungomare che consiglio di percorrere tutto a piedi fino alle Flame Towers che si trovano dall'altra parte così come il museo del tappeto

Very nice staffs at reception, met different faces during my stay but all my needs are well taken care of. Great job front desk team! Room is spacious, location is a bit far from tourist attractions, but has supermarket within walking distance, also a shuttle bus can be booked to go to old town. Breakfast is not good as Intercontinental, very little choices so didn't eat there.

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. This is my 3rd visit to Baku because its a beautiful and vibrant city with many touristic places to visit.Especially the Azeri people are very cordeal and receptive.I think this is one of the safest cities of the world.The hotels are cheap and quote effordable.The transport system is superb one doesn't have to hire a taxi because it's metro network is widely spreader and cheap.

Walking 🚶♂️ 🚶♀️ distance from the airport, just walk directly to the hotel, you will see right infront of you. Quickly Bypass the Taxi Hawking parking lot into the path in the trees leading into the only building the Hotel, Walk through the beautiful Rosa Damascena, pass your hands on the fragrant Rosemary planted next to it The Hotel interior is beautiful and clean, the Staff give a good impression of how friendly Azerbaijani folks can be, from the Receptionist girl that checks you in, to the Door staff. The rooms will have more drinking water as I was dehydrated after the flight and the water was gone in seconds. Talked to the staff they said they will immediately start adding more bottles of drinking water to all hotel rooms, they did so as they showed me they have a whole storage room full of drinking water bottles. Breakfast was very nice, Breakfast Waiters were extremely helpful. Night Bar/Restaurant also nice, a very patient waiter went through all their Menu on phone then he went through the whole menu again in person, until he saw I was satisfied with my choices.
