Gezellig goed verzorgd kleinschalig hotel. Perfecte tussenstop in het prachtige Zwarte Woud als je onderweg naar Italië / Oostenrijk/ Zwitserland bent. Prima verblijf, mooi groot familie appartement met voldoende slaapruimte voor 4 volwassenen. Wat je niet ziet op de foto’s is dat achter de banken in de woonkamer nog twee slaapbanken zitten waar je prima op kunt slapen. Het boeken van een t****e kamer is niet nodig voor een overnachting. Wat wel heel erg fantastisch was was het ontbijt. Zeer goed verzorgd. De host maakte vers gebakken eieren / roerbak ei met spek. Zoet, hartig, verse broodjes. Top! En onze Mechelse herder was ook welkom!!

Not only the location within a very filthy and abandoned area was shocking upon arriving; there were people sitting in front of the hotel and moving around the 'lobby' which defiantly belong to the 'project-complex' (HLM) and not to the hotel. The doors were widely open, but no hotel staff around. As indicated by a sign, guests have to use a very dirty and sticky (defiantly not hygiene and certainly not in-line with COVID-19 sanitary regulations) telephone to call a reservation agent. Unfortunately you only get to know, that there is no staff around until 16:00 hrs (official check-in time). Never the less, even the back-office was completely open and also on the reception desk registration cards with personal information were laying around - visible for everybody, with all personal information, one should keep at a discrete place to cope with official data protection policies. The furniture in the lobby was old and damaged. With all the garbage laying around, broken glass on the ground no staff on place but strange people hanging around and squatting in the lobby befitting from the vacantness this place is the most horrible 'hotel' I ever (almost) stayed. The driveway in front of the hotel was full of potholes and the signs at the entrance seemed like this place was abandoned a while ago and serves now as a retreat for homeless people. Don't get me wrong: if this is the intention to give shelter to homeless people, this is a nice gesture. Still you would need a bit of surveillance and should defiantly not sell rooms at this place to guests, which might have a certain need of security. I would defiantly not want my personal data, including credit card details laying around in a doss house / hostel for homeless people. There are other ways I help people in need! After I have called the group reservation to complain about the state I found the hotel / hostel, asking for a staff to speak with in person on spot, as I could not imagine, that this would be the standard DORMERO would strive for, I was told, that the hotel manager should be around and will be called to the lobby via the reservation agent I had on phone. Well, still after 15 Mins nobody showed up, so I had nothing else to do but leaving from this spooky and creepy place. How could someone leave such a place and run it down to such a bad state?! How could ever someone rate the location and state better than terrible?! Have a look at this place - you would not believe you are in Germany / Black Forrest / Freudenstadt but somewhere else, where nobody lives or took care for ages! I traveled the world and am not only staying at 5* Hotels; but the worst 1* Hotel is cleaner and safer as this place. I understand one might chose the location for the cheap construction site. But not hotel should place their name / brand proudly on that abandoned, filthy, down-and-out garbage dump! Luckily there are many family run places in the area, where I found an alternative quickly. L'hotel è situato al bordo del villaggio. Da la strada principale si deve girare a destra (o, se si arriva dalla città a sinistra), in una strada morta. Qui si può parcheggiare l'auto, o se si passa un po' più a sinistra su un parcheggio. È possibile parcheggiare anche, a pagamento, nel parcheggio. Abbiamo ricevuto amichevole alla reception. La nostra camera (106) era (ancora) nella parte antica. Puoi raggiungere sia all'interno che all'esterno. Avevamo una camera spaziale con un armadio, un ufficio, un sedile, un letto matrimoniale, un letto supplementare, una terrazza (con sedile) e una camera da bagno spaziosa con toilette, doccia e lavastoviglie. C'erano anche camere con balcone (con una bella vista sul bosco nero). Quando si è camminato all'interno alla reception, si è passato attraverso il bagno interno e la parte della sauna. Questo sembra tutto pulito e curato. La piscina è dotata di sedie a letto e di una camera da letto per signori e signore e due docce. Il ristorante è anche piacevole (ci ha fatto pensare all'Austria, a causa del legno). La cena era anche deliziosa e sembrava curata. La colazione è costituita da un buffet (ampio) ed è anche situato nel ristorante dell'hotel. Il personale è molto amichevole e fanno tutti il loro meglio per rendere il soggiorno più piacevole possibile. Intorno si può camminare bene e / o visitare uno dei villaggi.
