Enroute between Strasbourg and Stuttgart, we stayed one night after an enjoyable hike earlier in the day, near Baiersbronn. I wasn't aware of the facilities, but availed myself of the pool on a beautifully warm October afternoon. So relaxing to take a dip and then enjoy the sun sinking in the sky on the rooftop deck, with drink in hand. One of the guests I spoke with said that he returned to stay for many reasons, but emphasized how good the food was. ...and the food was excellent! The soups were superb. Starters, entrees and dessert were, likewise, exceptional. Wines were reasonable. Decor was most pleasant. Pacing and service were spot on. (Breakfast was ample with many excellent choices). Room (older section of hotel), while not luxurious, was spacious, comfortable and perfectly fine . What a wonderful spot! One of the nicest hotels in our 2 week journey.

This was the 3rd time we stayed in the Sackmann hotel and it was fantastic: very modern room with a great view, superb food, very friendly personnel and also excellent facilities. We really enjoyed the sauna’s! We already look forward to comeback next year.

Food was good and the pools and wellness areas were nice. But the service was disappointing at best and the rooms, even in the renovated parts, were shabby and had no toiletries except for soap. Not what I expect from a 4 star hotel (that charges as if it’s a 5 star establishment)

A wonderful hotel – great service and fantastic food! Comfortable newly appointed room with calming views of the river and forests. The heated rooftop pool offers unparalleled views over the countryside, come sunshine or snow. The Schwarzwald is a beautiful region which offers much for a family, and Hotel Sackmann is the perfect base for a holiday of fine food and cultural sightseeing.

Great relaxing place, spa area cannot recommend more. Dinner Super requisite. Only quality to really critique is the junior staff and the low quality coffee (it was lavazza, but somehow terrible). Hotel room not the best, but we did take the cheapest room (could do with an upgrade). But I guess, if you stay here, you’re paying for the extra. Definitely recommend a visit and we will probably be coming back again!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Sackmann war wirklich toll. Das Hotel ist sehr schön modern eingerichtet und hat einen tollen SPA-Bereich auf der Dachterrasse mit einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Schwarzwald. Kulinarisch wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Essen war immer top. Im Zuge unseres Arrangements haben wir an einem Abend im Restaurant Schlossberg gegessen. Das war ein wirklich beeindruckendes Erlebnis und das Beste Menü, welches wir jemals gegessen haben! :-)

Das Hotel wird von der Familie Sackmann geführt. Wir wurden von Anfang an herzlich aufgenommen. Das Frühstück ist genial, es gibt nichts, was es nicht gibt. Herr Sackmann persönlich bereitet die Omeletts zu. Das Abendessen ist eines Sternekochs würdig. Preis -Leistung stimmt. Die Wellnessanlage -mehr geht nicht. Der Infinizy Pool toppt das Ganze noch. Ein Traum, am frühen Morgen auf Wiesen und Wäder vom Pool aus zu blicken. Wir können das Hotel Sackmann nur wärmsten empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine rundum traumhafte Auszeit im Sackmanns. Vom Moment unserer Ankunft, bis hin zum Restaurant, Bar und dem Wellness Bereich wurden wir stets überaus freundlich und herzlich betreut. Das Essen war ein absoluter Genuss und das Zimmer sehr geräumig, sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten in dieser wunderschönen Umgebung wirklich die Seele baumeln lassen und kommen gerne wieder zum Genießen und Entspannen. Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team!

Sehr schönes familiengeführtes Hotel. Nach der Renovierung absolut top im modernen Stil. Wir haben im alten Teil übernachtet. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber absolut okay. Das Bad ist neu renoviert. Die Gastgeber und das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Wellnessbereich ist 1A. Allerdings fehlen dort Uhren und leider gibt es nur einen Saunaaufguss täglich. Das Essen war wie immer hervorragend.
