A noi piaceva questo hotel, che era brillantemente posizionato per vedere tutte le visibilità di Atene. Era molto pulito e il personale era incredibilmente utile e amichevole. Il nostro letto era molto confortevole e la bagno era ben progettato. La colazione era di alta qualità con molte scelte. La decorazione è moderna e funebre in luoghi. Non riesco a trovare davvero nessun negativo da dire e non esitarei a raccomandarlo. Grazie.

Il mio soggiorno era 10/10 L'hotel è molto ben mantenuto, tutto è super pulito. L'hotel è perfetto, si arriva ad Atene come turista - tutte le grandi città sono a piedi di distanza. La signora alla ricezione (l'ho dimenticato, mi dispiace) con i capelli corti è stata molto utile, ho seguito le sue raccomandazioni e il mio primo giorno ad Atene è stato ideale. Grazie speciali a Ludmila - è un'attivo reale per la società; è una signora di cuore che mi ha fatto sentire molto benvenuta per tutta la mia permanenza. Grazie per il team ❤️

L'hotel si trova in una posizione eccellente in pl. Karaiskaki, sul lato del trasporto (metro, autobus, taxi). Servizio: Non esportazione 1. Prima ci fu dato una stanza con vista sull’Acropolis. Dopo che l’avevo indicato e mi avevano detto che la riparavano fino al pomeriggio, questo fu solo dopo la mia ripetuta chiamata alla ricezione. La nuova stanza è stata vista eccellente a Acropolis di Atene - come ho pagato per questo. 2. La prima stanza che abbiamo ricevuto aveva una porta bagno ”infilata”, che non era stata chiusa. 3. La pulizia del pavimento era inaccettabile, con molti torni, che non sono stati raccolti nei giorni successivi. POSIZIONE 1. La più grande esperienza in 25 anni di viaggiare il mondo. Tornerà nel maggio quando la piscina al tetto è aperta. Tutto in questo hotel completamente nuovo è impeccabile. Colazione sulla terrazza al tetto che guarda l'Acropolis. Non finirà mai la scelta di cibo fresco, personale altamente professionale, strumenti elettronici e digitali più recenti, molto grande, camere funzionali, 40 stazioni TV, stanza a vapore, sauna e piscina e palestra 24/7 aperto, nuovo, estremamente pulito. La posizione è eccellente, entro minuti di tutte le principali visite. 9.9 tra 10. Le raccomandazioni del ristorante erano presenti. E il valore eccellente per soldi. Efcharisto a tutti. 😎🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Non sembra un 5 stelle dai servizi che offre. In ogni caso, la vista dalla terrazza all’ottavo piano è la sua forza. Dalla piscina non si vede l’acropoli, che invece è possibile ammirare da un altro punto più alto della terrazza. La piscina è bella, ma purtroppo è sacrificata dalle transenne che la circondano; probabilmente per non fare entrare più gente nello stesso momento. Il servizio in piscina è stato scarso: l’addetto faceva il suo lavoro probabilmente controvoglia; non era gentile e solerte, ma al contrario quasi annoiato dalle richieste legittime e minime dei clienti. Per portare un menu ci metteva mezz’ora, per dire. Peccato, perché il cibo era buonissimo; il ristorante che ospita l’hotel è veramente ottimo e consiglio di pranzare o cenare lì. Il personale della reception è stato gentile e ci hanno offerto un upgrade gratuito della camera. Devo segnalare che il frigo piangeva! Non c’era nemmeno un piccolo snack, e il rifornimento d’acqua non c’era ( dovevi tu chiamare ). Non c’erano gli accappatoi, solo asciugamani. La colazione non è male, c’è molta varietà di scelta. Forse l’hotel è un tantino lontano dal quartiere più turistico (piazza Monastiraki ), ci vuole almeno una mezz’ora a piedi.

I traveled here with my sister and adult daughter for a short stay before a cruise. The location is amazing. Hotel is located in a quiet area not far from Acropolis Musem and hop on/off bus stop is 2 blocks away. We had a lovely view of acropolis from our balcony, and I had mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, so we were given a nice fruit basket with other goodies to celebrate. There are a few restaurants nearby and a bakery which has excellent sandwiches. The included breakfast was very filling and offered eggs, sausages, several varieties of breads and rolls, fruit, awesome yoghurt, spanakopita, cereal, juice, and numerous baked goods. The room was very clean and had some storage and a mini fridge. There is a rooftop deck, but the stairs are very narrow. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with offering advice on things to see and giving great directions. The area is very safe and the hotel provides maps and access to guidebooks in their lobby. I would stay here again.

Questo hotel è bellissimo. Situato sulla piazza Omonia. Ci siamo accolti da personale amichevole che ci offre Prosecco . Abbiamo anche acqua e una piccola bottiglia di Prosecco nella nostra stanza. Le camere sono piccole ma questo è previsto in un hotel urbano. Grande piscina al tetto. Il buffet è servito fino alle 12 e si può prendere tazze per il caffè. Se si prenota una stanza balcone si assicura di prenotare una stanza balcone urbana come le classiche stanze balcone hanno vista sull'edificio derelic. L'unico lato inferiore di questo hotel è gli ascensori. Ci sono due ascensori e sono sempre pieni e lenti. Eravamo al 6° e siamo finiti a camminare le scale per la maggior parte del tempo. La stazione della metropolitana è al di là dell'entrata dell'hotel e salto su autobus fermato al di là dell'hotel.

Sono rimasto per una settimana in una camera doppia. La stanza era tranquilla, il letto e le mutandine erano comode. Il vascale con qualche pendola. La camera doccia era un po' piccola ma pulita e la doccia era calda e potente. L'hotel è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla piazza centrale e dalla stazione metropolitana. Grande posizione per il viaggiatore e il turista. Tutti i membri del personale dell'hotel erano affettuosi e molto utile.

Stayed here for 4 nights end of Feb/March as a couple. Location: Hotel is in an excellent location directly opposite the Metro within walking distance to Syntagma Square, Monistraki Square and the Acropolis (or you can take the Metro red line and these are within 3 stops which we did). Can also walk to neighbourhoods like Psyri which we did for dinner which was lovely. Omonia Square which is the metro station name is also on the same line as Piraeus which is the port of Athens (well worth a visit to walk around and have food / drinks overlooking Zea Marina or Mikrolimano Harbour. Down the road is Central Market which we experienced on a Sunday night which was cool. 24-7 bakery next door which is more than just a bakery; sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, artisan desserts A couple of late night gyros places if you arrive late including 1 directly next door Supermarkets within a few mins walk Room: We had a comfort room. On check in she offered us an upgrade without seeing the room and told us to have a look at it first. The room was small but clean however the view was awful. Boxed in by 3 derelict walls taller than us so natural light was limited. Housekeeping is lazy - put water in a broken fridge (we fixed ourselves), didn't replace cups or tea/coffee after we had used the, (had to ask reception twice) and on day 3 she took every single towel and didn't replace them. We had 2 single beds (not even put together with 1 sheet to make it like a double). Bathroom needs an upgrade, shower made water go absolutely everywhere and the tiles are very outdated. I would recommend going for a deluxe room (we were offered an extra 12 euros a night for one) and didn't take it but if you like a bit more comfort and a view then it is probably worth it. Breakfast: Great spread, continental breakfast, pastries, yogurt etc. Overall, would recommend (with a deluxe room). Cannot fault the location and moreover Athens is alive every night. Part of the fun was walking from the hotel to dinner (restaurants are absolutely incredible). We walked through some dark streets but honestly nobody even so much as looked at us funny so don't let anyone put you off by mentioning the streets round the back of Omonia Square.

This was a most horrible experience. I am writing this review to spare anyone else from making the mistake of booking this hotel I booked this hotel through my travel Agent in Canada who showed me this location that looked just fine online. (Pictures can be deceiving so beware). We paid in advance as is custom when booking through a travel Agency. When my travel partner and I arrived (July 2022), we were shocked and outright concerned for our safety as the area is quite sketchy. The cab driver did not even seem comfortable as he dropped us off and quickly left. The Hotel is not even a one star, but there is no lesser ranking I can check. The service was poor and the hotel clerk did even seem to want to be there. The elevator seemed unsafe, the hotel room door lock was compromised and not secure, while the room was terrible with an offensive odour. It was later when we arrived, so we knew we had to switch our hotel and do it quickly to find something that was available. We were NOT going to stay there. So within 40 minutes, we were able to open our laptops and book another hotel. Unbeknown to us (due to it being our first time in Athens) there were a LOT OF GREAT HOTELS just around the corner from where we were. We booked one of them that had availability for us (3 nights) and we proceeded to go downstairs to the 1 clerk on duty to ask him for a refund, as we were unsatisfied and leaving. He threw his hands up and said ”No refund”. I can't help you. Otherwise, ”no- it is up to you if you want to leave”. So, instead of arguing, we left anyway and emailed our travel agent right away with the formal complaint, since we booked through the Agency. The rest of our stay in Athens was amazing and our remainder trip in Santorini - wonderful. Those hotels were great. When we got back home, our travel Agent said that the hotel, when approached by them still refused to refund any of our money, even for the two other nights and said it was because we did not make a formal complaint. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. Thankfully, our travel agent, in efforts to restore our confidence in them, refunded two of our nights out of their own expenses. But the hotel was a hard NO. And so, before you book the Ambrosia Hotel in Athens Greece, I hope you read this. If you are looking for a safe (truly three star) comfortable, clean and safe hotel DO NOT BOOK WITH AMBROSIA SUITES. It was and is a VERY poor representation of a Beautiful City. The most I can do now, is to warn anyone considering staying there by giving this honest and accurate review. -First time to Athens, Canadian Traveller

Consiglio a tutti questo hotel! Viaggio spesso, ma l'accoglienza che ho trovato in questo hotel non l'ho trovata in nessun altro hotel. Tutto il personale, cominciando dalla reception e terminando al personale delle pulizie, senza dimenticare il personale delle colazioni, sono stati sempre sorridenti, disponibili e amorevoli, anche e soprattutto verso Anna, mia figlia di 7 mesi. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa: la mattina si ricordavano che io bevo latte di soia e lo trovavo già caldo nel tavolo dove ci stavamo sedendo, in qualsiasi momento potevo chiedere di riscaldare latte e pappe per mia figlia. Ci hanno coccolato e di questo ringrazio tutti: avere un bell'hotel è ”semplice” (e questo è davvero un bellissimo hotel), ma essere così speciali nell'accoglienza è davvero qualità di pochi. Dave's Hotel Athens is a great hotel for those looking to experience a new type of hotel with there cool industrial look. I had seen some questionable reviews, which left me with some worries surrounding the hotel and its location. I am happy that I gave the hotel a fair chance to impress me, The gentleman (Sadly missed his name) that welcomed us was extremely kind and happy to help us and do what he could to ensure we were happy. We stayed in room 802, This was a lovely room, a little small for a long stay but for the 3 days we had booked it was more than comfortable. We loved the little quirks in the room with red lighting, record players, and many more. The TV had a good range of channels and the bed was extremely comfortable especially the pillows. The only negative was the aircon that was controlled by a receptionist and was a pain to get keep calling to get it correct temp sorted. The surrounding area was a little run-down but you can see that they are starting to renovate the area, I think in a year or two it will be easier on the eye and more appealing to tourists. A couple of homeless people and a couple of odd characters but nothing you wouldn't get in any capital city across Europe. We did not ever feel in any danger or worried about walking around the area. The hotel also had a great rooftop with a Hot Tub that was open 24/7. Overall Great Hotel to stay at I would definitely try it out for something different to experience and the price is great.

L'hotel è chiuso per la notte, ma ha 24 ore di servizio, quindi puoi controllare in qualsiasi momento. Le donne che lavoravano a notte erano molto utili e mi hanno detto di chiederle se dovevo trovare qualcosa e mi avrebbe detto dove andare. La stanza stessa era pulita e ha portato tutto quello che avete bisogno per il prezzo che ho pagato. La posizione è sorprendente, proprio nel centro e a pochi passi dalla maggior parte delle attrazioni principali che si desidera vedere.
