Hotel in zona Assumption Church (Panagitsa), Atene

AMO rimanere in questo hotel e restare di nuovo se avessi visitato Atene di nuovo. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, siamo stati salutati da Harris (il manager, credo, era costantemente in ricezione o nella zona del bar) siamo stati molto benvenuti. Arrivammo alle 11:00 (la check-in doveva essere alle 3:00, ma ci ha permesso di entrare immediatamente nella nostra stanza - e ci ha anche aggiornato in una bella stanza con un massiccio balcone. La stanza era bella e moderna e disponeva di molte belle strutture, tra cui la tosta dentale e i set di pasta dentale e i bellissimi bagni. C'era un frigorifero con acqua in bottiglia, la stanza aveva un aria condizionata e la piu' grande doccia a piedi mai. Abbiamo anche potuto archiviare i nostri casi dopo un'esame tardivo. Dave's Hotel Athens is a great hotel for those looking to experience a new type of hotel with there cool industrial look. I had seen some questionable reviews, which left me with some worries surrounding the hotel and its location. I am happy that I gave the hotel a fair chance to impress me, The gentleman (Sadly missed his name) that welcomed us was extremely kind and happy to help us and do what he could to ensure we were happy. We stayed in room 802, This was a lovely room, a little small for a long stay but for the 3 days we had booked it was more than comfortable. We loved the little quirks in the room with red lighting, record players, and many more. The TV had a good range of channels and the bed was extremely comfortable especially the pillows. The only negative was the aircon that was controlled by a receptionist and was a pain to get keep calling to get it correct temp sorted. The surrounding area was a little run-down but you can see that they are starting to renovate the area, I think in a year or two it will be easier on the eye and more appealing to tourists. A couple of homeless people and a couple of odd characters but nothing you wouldn't get in any capital city across Europe. We did not ever feel in any danger or worried about walking around the area. The hotel also had a great rooftop with a Hot Tub that was open 24/7. Overall Great Hotel to stay at I would definitely try it out for something different to experience and the price is great.

Hotel a 10 minuti a piedi dal quartiere di Monastiraki, purtroppo in una brutta zona. Abbiamo subito un tentativo di furto in pieno giorno. Personale gentile. Camera con bagno piccolissimo. Necessario chiudere la porta per utilizzare tazza e lavandino. Doccia senza protezione che allaga il bagnetto. Colazione e pranzo a self service buoni ma minimi. Bevande extra piuttosto care.

Myself & my partner stayed here for a week on a bed & breakfast basis, booked via Jet2. As it was my partners birthday, we were upgraded to a larger room with complimentary fruit & prossecco. However, as the room was on the 1st floor (107) we found it rather dark & we asked to be moved, which after one night we were, to room 506, which although smaller offered more light & a better view. The rooms do lack some storage space, but are clean with comfortable beds & pillows & nice showers. The blinds, lighting, heating & air con are all worked via a tablet, which did go wrong once, but was quickly repaired. The breakfast has something to suit most tastes, including freshly squeezed orange juice & tasty coffee. The hotel also has a rooftop area where you can relax with a view of the Acropolis. The area that the hotel is in could be better, as you may see beggars & drug addicts, however we didn't experience any problems from them. It is very handy for Omonoia Metro Station & this is where we encountered our big holiday problem, in that I had my wallet stolen when on the escalator leaving the station. I won't go into all the details, just to say that if you do choose to travel on the Metro, do so with extreme caution. Apparently, there are organised gangs of Eastern Europeans that are travelling on the trains & located at the stations & there are many many stories of tourists being robbed. The Police presence is virtually invisible, both on the trains & at the stations & there is also a lack of cctv. The Police don't seem overly concerned when you report the crime & just get you to fill in a form & give you a crime number. It is a MAJOR PROBLEM that needs sorting. The hotel staff could not have been kinder & more helpful, including ordering our taxi to the Police station, giving us complimentary drinks, fruit & chocolates & generally going the extra mile to help us. So finally, a big big shout & thumbs up to Panayiotie the brilliant barman & Villy & Melina the lovely receptionists. We love you all & you're a credit to the company.

Sono una ragazza e sono venuta ad Atene da sola. Dopo aver prenotato questo hotel, ho letto i problemi menzionati nelle recensioni che mi hanno messo molto a disagio. Tuttavia, quando ho fatto il check-in, ho scoperto che in realtà non c'era alcun problema. L'igiene dell'hotel è molto buona, il personale della reception è molto cordiale e l'aria condizionata in camera è più che sufficiente, permettendomi di riposarmi bene dopo il ritorno dal clima esterno di 40 gradi. La prima notte non ho fatto il check-in fino all'una del mattino e ho incontrato le ** persone menzionate nei commenti, ma fintanto che mi sono mantenuto a distanza e non ho stabilito un contatto visivo, era ancora molto sicuro. Sembrava che non si accorgessero dei pedoni che passavano, facendo le loro cose. Sceglierò di nuovo qui la prossima volta che verrò ad Atene!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel una settimana. L'hotel si trova in una via molto trafficata sia di giorno che di notte vicinissima alla stazione della metropolitana. La camera, un po' datata per quanto riguarda l'arredamento, nonostante fosse situata sopra la strada è risultata ben insonorizzata, anche grazie alla presenza dei doppi vetri. Aria condizionata ben funzionante. Ottima la pulizia, con cambio quotidiano degli asciugamani e ogni due giorni della biancheria. Personale gentile alla reception e disponibile. All'ultimo piano c'e' una terrazza/bar aperta dalle 20.00 alle 24.00 dove si può sorseggiare un drink con una splendida vista dell'Acropoli. Unica pecca la colazione che per quanto riguarda i dolci è molto limitata. Se dovessi ritornare ad Atene sicuramente ritornerei in questo hotel. Consigliato.

La mia seconda visita ad Atene, questo hotel era in una posizione perfetta vicino a tutto quello che volevamo visitare. La colazione era buona, il personale era sorprendente e l'hotel era molto sicuro dopo un certo periodo di chiusura delle porte automatiche e si poteva entrare solo con la carta chiave. Aveva le porte e le finestre con chiavi, così il sole non ti ha colpito per la prima volta la mattina, e i puliziari erano sorprendenti che avevano pulito la nostra stanza due volte al giorno, quindi li abbiamo lasciati al tappeto alla fine della nostra visita. Molto consigliare questo hotel a chiunque visita questa bella città

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Athens’ most visited spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. No tea/coffee making facilities but I don’t know if that’s normal in Athens, but there is a fridge and great air conditioning. Then roof top bar in their sister hotel Plaka is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

Innanzitutto Un Saluto alla Sig.ra Dana, sempre sorridente, disponibile e paziente, visto il mio inglese davvero scadente😅. Un Saluto anche all’addetto alla reception del pomeriggio, di cui non so il nome. Grazie per la vostra Gentilezza!!! Ho viaggiato da sola alla scoperta di Atene, e mi sono trovata benissimo. Soprattutto per la disponibilità di tutti, avevo il Volo di rientro alle 19.30 e dopo aver lasciato la camera mi hanno tenuto le valigie sino alle 16.30. L’Albergo è situato in posizione centrale, a 2 passi da tutto!!! Facilmente raggiungibile con la metro dall’aeroporto, la fermata è a 100 metri. Vicinissimo alla strada che porta all’acropoli, dove ci sono tante taverne dove mangiare benissimo e dove poter gustare un buon espresso. Le camere sono ben arredate, pulite e confortevoli. Il letto è comodissimo!!! Ottima la prima colazione, a parte l’espresso… Ma quella è un’abitudine di noi Italiani!!!😅 Consigliatissimo!!!
