Vegetarian Food is a worry

Nice hotel, but the pool is really cold and except for the mall there is nothing to see or do.

IBIS Antananarivo services have been transformed very positively. My experience this time was marvellous . 0 complaint. The services flew very smoothly and the presentation of the menu in the restaurant to the welcoming smiles at the reception and all the IBIS staff. Will remain memorable! Thank you Team...keep up the good work

I was traveling for work, and the first part of my trip was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even found me a doctor when I got sick one evening. The breakfast was excellent. Wifi was pretty reliable. But it was a loud hotel. Initially there was some construction going on outside the window of my room, so even when my room got a bit stuffy it was hard to keep the window open long because of the noise. Then later in the week there were about 200 young athletes staying in the hotel and it descended into chaos. It's a really well-located hotel, and so you may still choose to stay. If you find it too loud, I recommend walking around the corner to Paradise Restaurant (actually I recommend this anyway!) the atmosphere is a peaceful buzz of excitement and the food is delicious!!

Great value for money. Convenient location. Helpful staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent with a good variety including vegetarian dishes. The head chef Christoph is a delight and strives hard to take care of the preferences of guests. He cooked some delicious vegetarian food. Highly recommend this place.

Clean modern and comfortable hotel of international standard but let down by showers that alternate between hot and cold and silly promotional slogans

We spent our mandatory quarantine and later, much of our stay at the Ibis. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The highlights, however, are the fantastic restaurant, patio and most importantly, the staff. The whole team at the Ibis was fantastic. The servers at the restaurant are the best. They are personable and willing to help whenever they can. Excellent hotel!

Staff at reception were inexperienced. Although I am a gold member with **********, it took them more than 1/2 hour to check me in. I had charges on my bill that were mine. It took them forever to sort the issue out. The same happened to other colleagues who stayed at the hotel at the same time. Additionally, we had to wait more than one hour in the shuttle waiting for one person who never showed up. This is unacceptable given that we had arrived after midnight after a 20 hour flight and we were charge 20 Euros per person.
