The room and bathroom were very clean and decorated beautifully. My husband was excited about the recliner. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There were complimentary snacks on the coffee bar and the bathroom had an assortment of items in case you forgot to bring something with you.

This is in perfect condition with all sorts of amenities. It is small but cozy. The shower is the among the smallest, but they had to work with what they had. It is an immense upgrade form when I stayed there 20 years ago. Absolutely a perfect pick for a comfortable stay for a modest time period. Their stock photos are exactly like he room, with new linens, drapes, frig, microwave and shelving..

Always a pleasure staying here, and it's a regular stop for me when traveling through the area. The rooms are very cozy and decorated to feel like "home." It's stocked with snacks, water, and coffee. If you forget any toiletry item, it's already in the room waiting for you. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and I would always recommend this place to fellow travelers.

I was so impressed with the quality of our motel room. Everything looked so clean and brand new. The furnishings were very tasteful. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. There was even a basket of snacks. I wish all motel rooms could be as nice as the ones here. I will definitely stay here again if I return to this area.

We had a great stay at Amherst Inn! The inn is clean and comfortable. The staff is so friendly, and the rooms come stocked with snacks, water and just about every kind of toiletry you may have forgotten to pack. Definitively a great place to stay when visiting Amherst!

Very convenient and welcoming rooms are very clean and tidy with a range of beverages and treats and a good welcome pack beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Very easy to check in and check out. There are also some good local restaurants nearby parking is also very easy being right outside the door.

Great place! Very well maintained and clean! Pleasant owner. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area! If ever in the vicinity we will definitely stay there again. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Room very well stocked with amenities and snacks!

This was a last minute change in my travel schedule. I’m happy the Inn was conveniently located. The beds are only full sized, but that’s what I have at home. The bed was soft and comfortable. I slept well. Furnished nicely. They obviously care about your stay.

What a pleasant surprise! Upon pulling in to the parking lot, my immediate reaction was "what did I do?" we were the only car in the lot besides the inn keepers car. Upon entering our room, I was impressed, they offered items that no big chain hotel would offer you. A basket nicely put together with every thing you may have forgotten to pack! The room and bathroom were very clean, and cozy. The innskeeper was kind. I asked 'where are all of the people?" (since we were the only car in the lot!) he said many canceled due to the hurricane. When we returned from the wedding we were attending, the lot was practically full! I guess some who didn't have a reservation took a chance, many license plates were from out of state. I'm glad I booked at Amherst Inn. You won't be sorry you did either. PS You will be charged a $100 incidental fee (in case you damage the room) on your debit/credit card - don't be alarmed, I got mine back within hours of departing.
