We stayed at the Senator Hotel in Águilas from September 11th to 12th, 2024, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing for several reasons. Parking Issues We were told in advance that parking would cost €10 per day, only to be charged €15 upon arrival. The receptionist insisted this was correct, and while we reluctantly paid the higher price, it left a sour first impression. Bar Service & Cocktail Confusion The terrace bar experience was quite frustrating. We were initially told cocktails weren’t available, only to find out later that they were, but the staff didn’t know how to make a basic Strawberry Daiquiri. They had to look up the recipe on Google, and the result was far from enjoyable. On top of that, the prices on the menu were incorrect. This seemed like bad business practice to us. Disappointing Buffet The dinner buffet also had issues with pricing, which was finally settled at €20. The food quality was underwhelming; none of us enjoyed it, and most of the wine went untouched. The breakfast buffet the next morning was equally disappointing, with minimal offerings that were poorly stocked. The restaurant staff tried to replenish the items after we asked, but the whole process was slow and disorganized. By the time the food was restocked, what little we had on our plates had gone cold. Unreliable Elevators We had a member of our party using a mobility scooter, and the elevators were a constant issue. The doors closed too quickly, and on several occasions, they closed on the scooter. This was both frustrating and unsafe. Positives On the positive side, we were happy with the size of the rooms, and our request for a disabled-access room was met. The event we attended at the hotel was enjoyable, but after that, we were told the bar had closed and could only get drinks from a vending machine—another letdown. Final Thoughts Overall, our stay was not up to the standard we expected, and the frequent issues we encountered left us reconsidering our plans to return. The staff seemed indifferent to our complaints, and I can’t imagine how chaotic things would be if the hotel was busier. I hope the management addresses these concerns for future guests. I have sent a review letter to the hotel asking for comments but not received a reply

Excelente hotel,habitación amplia,colchón muy cómodo..Las comidas buenísimas y el desayuno buffet muy rico,no le falta de nada.No tiene comidas a mediodía pero por su buena ubicación en 5min andando estás en el centro de Lorca y tienes variedad de sitios para comer.La piscina buenísima y la limpieza y el trato de los trabajadores excelente.Hemos venido muy contentos y vamos a volver con la familia.

Strano hotel davvero! All'arrivo, è uno dei più belli edifici e approccio che abbiamo visto da molto tempo. L'hotel è stato costruito vicino al castello e è completamente in linea con il suo ambiente. All'arrivo, la zona di accoglienza è stupenda e il personale è utile e amichevole. Tuttavia, si è spostato rapidamente in collina, aprendo la nostra porta. La prima cosa che abbiamo notato è stata la cortina che si appoggiava sul suo ferrovia! È una grande stanza con un piccolo mobilio, e quello che c'era era un po' di tattina. Siamo stati delusi, quindi siamo tornati alla ricezione per cambiare le stanze. Molto lo stesso, ma le cortine erano buone. Questa volta la stanza si è profumata di drenaggio! Non ci aspettavamo mai un po' di lusso, forse il nostro errore, ma la stanza era piuttosto di base con letti duri standard, nessun cuscino sul divano, nessuna piccola eccenzione. L'edificio merita di meglio! La stanza era molto pulita e grande, ma non aveva fatto alcuna prova di lusso. Per un soggiorno di notte, è un posto fantastico e pulito, solo non aspettare una bella stanza in linea con l'edificio. Visualizzazioni fantastiche giorno e notte
