Staff super simpatico, hotel muito sossegado mas um pouco datado.

Struttura pulita ed accogliente, nonostante sia un po' datata. Camera comoda, funzionale e spaziosa. Personale gentile e location centrale ( ad Albufeira ) - direttamente sul mare ed in piena movida - tanto da poter fare tutto a piedi. Unica pecca il bagno, vecchio e senza doccia (c'è solo "il telefonino" - peraltro "fisso" - in una vasca improponibile ). Ovviamente, noi abbiamo noleggiato un'auto per visitare tutto il fantastico ed unico Algarve. Numerosi, economici e caratteristici i ristoranti in zona ( da evitare quelli dozzinali sul lungomare e da preferire quelli tipici nel centro storico ). Ottimo rapporto prezzo / qualità, in linea generale. Consigliatissimo ( senza alcun dubbio ) !!! Ci torneremo alla prima occasione utile e - dunque - a presto ( speriamo ) ..

Se ti piace sentirti degradato e stare in un posto che rispecchia una cella di prigione, questo è il posto che fa per te. Siamo arrivati ​​dopo aver viaggiato per oltre 12 ore per essere accolti da un manager molto arrogante ed energico alla reception. Dire a ogni persona che soggiorna nella struttura (4n.) che era necessario versare un deposito cauzionale di 150 € prima di entrare nelle camere. Qualcosa che non è mai stato spiegato al momento della prenotazione del viaggio. Sono state inoltre delineate norme rigorose sul rumore e sul "divertimento", anche se il viaggio era basato sul golf e non sull'aspetto della vita notturna. Ci hanno dato due camere nel seminterrato dell'hotel che per esperienza sembravano stanze dei lavoratori. Erano entrambi molto semplici e scuri e non offrivano l'atmosfera di un hotel per le vacanze. Con nostra grande sorpresa, l'hotel non offriva aria condizionata, anche con un caldo di 34 gradi. Ogni notte la porta dell'hotel era presidiata da un manager molto scortese e arrabbiato che ti faceva entrare e uscire dall'hotel a sua discrezione solo dopo le 22:00. Anche la colazione che fa parte dell'accordo era pessima e sembrava che fosse stata masticata da un gorilla prima di essere calpestata da tutte le 20 opere dell'hotel. Non lo consiglio 🤦‍♂️ L'unica parte positiva dell'hotel è stata la gentile signora dietro al bar che ha fatto di tutto per assicurarsi che ci divertissimo perché dopo tutto avevamo pagato per essere lì 👍🏼 Non lo consiglio e condanno completamente il modo in cui siamo stati trattati. Cella di prigione molto altro da offrire 💩

Very nice apartments, absolutely spotlessly clean, yes bathrooms are outdated but so clean, lovely reception staff, great location. Will definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed it. Great size apartments. Within walking distance to old town, fabulous pool area.

Arrived at hotel with no idea what it was like, old dated place but clean and tidy. Very inconspicuous entrance hard to see, but near to old town. Stayed for 7 days very quiet, had a nice pool, with adequate sun beds. Nice polite staff. No eating or drink facilities. A major problem was the fact that we had to pay 150 euros each on arrival. Me at 75 yrs of age and my nephew and friend both middle aged, total 450 euros. When asked why, was told it was policy in case of damage. We were hardly going to run wild but our ages and minimal protest fell on deaf ears, ie no money no room. We had money returned on departure. Not a good welcome and in my mind unnecessary especially for a family arriving with a set budget.

Clean hotel with 24hr reception, you will need €150 refundable cash deposit which *********** don't tell you about. Balcony with garden view, kitchenette was well equipped, clean and functional, there was no corkscrew to open wine bottles (Portuguese don't do screw caps) no spatulas or non stick frying pan so fried eggs were a disaster. TV, dining table & chairs and 2 seat sofa bed in lounge. Beds comfortable but bathroom was looking tired, that said shower was hot & powerful. Pool area was lovely with views of garden and the sea, pool was clean and warm. Lots of parking outside, bars, restaurants ATMs and supermarket all within 20 meters. Old Town 10 mins and The ***** 15 mins walking distance. Aldi, Lidl and Pingo Doce all nearby. Would use this hotel again.

Was concerned after reading some of the reviews here. We had been booked into a Studio Classic room by OnTheBeach which was not what was requested, but that’s another story. We had the room upgraded to a sea-view balcony single bedroom and was very glad we did. The views are amazing. The room was perfectly good for a 3-star hotel. A little tired in places but very clean and regular cleaners every day. Hotel was being repainted while we were there and will look great by the time the summer season starts. We stayed at Easter so the pool bar wasn’t open and the pool, being unheated, wasn’t something we used but we did spend time on the loungers each day and enjoyed it. Staff very friendly and helpful, kitchenette was well stocked with cutlery and crockery. Emergency situation caused by lack of a corkscrew was swiftly resolved. Location is also unbeatable if you want to spend time in the Old Town - 10 minutes walk puts you in the main areas, and yet you are far enough out that it’s peaceful at night. Some amazing restaurants just out the door and Tuk-Tuks and Taxis ready to take you to the ***** if that’s your thing. Only downside really is the plumbing. The noise from a tap running or toilet flushing in the next apartment is very loud. So your sleep will depend on your neighbours. Actual ambient noise between apartments isn’t bad in any other way. Loved our holiday, would certainly go back.

Definitely not 3 star . Antiquated bathroom and kitchen facilities, there was actually a plank of wood locking sliding patio door ,very poor cleaning, we were in ground floor apartment , not a good choice as rodents could be seen roaming around garden area at night, manageress and reception staff were arrogant and rude ,had problems getting cash deposit returned on safe, Probably one of the worst apartments I Holidayed in a very long time.

We booked this last minute as we wanted a little 4 night break away. We were looking for something close to the Old Town but that wasn’t ridiculously expensive for the purpose we wanted it for. Well what a pleasurable stay we’ve had. The hotel is extremely clean, our room size was perfect and equipped with everything we needed including the small little extras like a hair dryer and iron. -We chose to do Self Catering although I believe you can have bed and breakfast. Cute little pool bar when you can have ice creams, cold and hot drinks, snacks and small lunches. This is open 9.00-18.00. The pool is extremely quiet and the surrounding around the hotel are also very quiet, which was perfect for what we wanted! The staff are all friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond. I’d like to mention the lady who’s sweeps and mops round the pool in a morning and who works behind the pool bar is lovely and very hard working! She needs a pay rise! Less than 10 minute walk down to the beach but lots of amenities and shops just outside the hotel. Would 100% stay again!

Large apartments. Nice pool. Close to amenities. I asked for lateral sea view which I could not see. Rooms 108/109 not very good as kept awake by a neighbor's yelping dog in the private properties next door.

This is our second visit to these apartments. We opt for the views across the pool to the sea. The apartments are large, good balcony, separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and what appears to be a laundry room at the rear. Everything works. Plenty of storage space. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. Location, about 10 min walk to beach, but there is even an escalator for part of the walk to the beach and restaurants. There are plenty of smaller restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance. Staff are very helpful. It is looking a bit tired in places, but VFM it is excellent.

This is our 2nd visit and was pleased to see the rooms had had a makeover. We love the fact that it's quiet and the staff are so friendly. The pool and surrounding gardens is just lovely and then you have the sea view. The rooms are so spacious and had everything we needed. Location is great. We are already looking to return again soon. I never understand why someone feels the need to photograph a missing tile or a bit of dust under the bed. It's a 3 star hotel after all and I thought it had a lot of good points.

Extremely Rude threatening manageress who told us to leave when we listed complaints Shower that flooded everywhere. cracks and holes in walls Weeds in gardens Toilet seat that had to lean on your back as badly fitted & cut my child’s back etc

One star purely for location. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the room was disgusting, hair and dirt all over the floors, we were put in room 1 which was in the basement next to where the cleaners would shout/ store there equipment. We had mains boards and Wi-Fi boxes in our rooms which constantly lit up. Our balcony doors were kept closed with planks of wood! When we complained we were told to pay for an upgrade or stick with it. We paid to upgrade because it was that disgusting. I do not believe this is a 3* hotel, maybe 30 years ago but definitely not now. Also no facilities to shower, so if you have a late return flight you have to use the dirty cold showers by the pool. Will never return or recommend this to anyone.
