The people working here could not be faulted - very friendly and welcoming. The place itself also presented well, with the room clean although in some areas a little worn. So, location - not bad. Outside the CBD, but frankly we are talking Adelaide so it's not that far out. It is basically an apartment block - no restaurant associated with it, so do not expect to be able to get dinner or room service, or for that matter a 'welcome drink' glass of wine if you are an Accor member. I did get some chocolate and two bottles of water, as well as a handwritten welcome note, so that was nice. On check in they did say that they normally do not service the rooms every day, but could arrange to do so if I wanted - and as I was staying for only three nights I said not to bother. Wifi - works, but not super fast (under 2Mbps down, 0.04 Mbps up). Maybe it was having a seniors moment whilst I was there, but be aware you may end up needing to use your mobile data for anything more than basic email. I had a room on the fifth floor - nice and large with two separate bedrooms either side of a lounge area, as well as a long balcony with some chairs and a table. As you walked into the room, the lounge was directly in front and to the left was the kitchen and to the right the combined laundry & bathroom. For a home away from home, this worked well. You can walk out the back and you are behind a Woolworths that is inside a small shopping area. There are a number of other shops in the centre from a cafe to BWS to a chemist - I wandered down and got some supplies from Woolworths to cover my dinner/breakfasts for the three nights I was staying. Outside the centre there was a restaurant or two and if feeling active, a McDonalds and other take away options about a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen had a full size fridge. It was clean and worked well, but there were some cracks on the inside. There was a bracket stuck to the outside of both the freezer and fridge compartment doors where no doubt they used to be connected to the external wooden door panel - but it would have been a little weird as the single wooden door would have meant when you opened the wooden door, both the freezer and fridge doors would open. Maybe that's why they separated them, or maybe it came from a different apartment. Anyhow, it meant that to access the fridge or freezer you need to open the large wooden door and then reach in the crack between the wall and the side of the fridge to grab the door and pull. Inside the fridge was a collection of those single shot UHT milk containers you could use when making tea or coffee, and speaking of which there was a nespresso pod machine with four unmarked pods (two gold, two brown - maybe decaf and normal? No idea.). The kitchen had a small induction top, oven & microwave oven, and dishwasher. The stove top did not work initially, until I found the separate power switch on the wall that turned it on. Siamo rimasti in un appartamento aperto, pulito, spazioso e confortevole, vi sono molte opzioni per mangiare vicino e anche supermercati a piedi. Siamo stati sorpresi quando siamo arrivati che non c'era parcheggio in loco (non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di prenotare o di dire che era necessario), ma c'era una possibilità fuori loco che ci ha offerto una breve distanza

Abbiamo bisogno di un posto per stare e non molto da scegliere nel Nord-Est, siamo andati a Sphères e è stato meraviglioso. Non è molto felice che volessero un deposito di 150 dollari per assicurarci di non rompere la stanza. Questo è un posto di classe per stare. La stanza era abbastanza spaziosa, era pulita e il letto e le mutandine erano meravigliose da dormire.La bagno era abbastanza spaziosa da prendere il mio camminatore.L’unica denuncia era il rumore in basso, perché avevano un diploma.

I miei genitori e io abbiamo prenotato per pranzo.Due di noi avevano la spalla degli agnelli e l'altro aveva Mulloway.10/10 per tutte le piastre e le piastre vuote sono tornate in cucina. I desserti erano ordinati - due di noi avevano l'espressione perfetta - un delizioso combo di torta treakle e caffè perfetto con delicate inclusioni come il miele di crisp. Il terzo membro del partito ha apprezzato la salsa di ghiaccio e di fragole che il giovane disgustava sul tavolo vicino e la cucina era felice di obbligare. Servizio amichevole ed efficiente, e la persona del bar ha fatto e eccellente gin e tonic per sottolineare un SA Gin per questo vittoriano. Tutto in tutti i migliori pasti alberghiero che ho avuto a Adelaide da molti anni e ritornerò su altri viaggi.

Il punto positivo è che l'hotel è pulito e il colazione era buono. Le camere sono molto date e sicuramente potevo fare con un rinfresco. Purtroppo ero in una stanza sopra la strada principale vicino all'intersezione. Il rumore delle luci del piede era udibile tutta la notte, come il rumore del pub e il rumore delle altre stanze. La stanza era spaziale, ma come menzionato il decoro era molto datato. In generale, è bello come un luogo per il crollo della notte, ma non mi fermerò di nuovo a meno che non migliorino la prova di rumore!
