Hotel in zona ሰሚት አደባባይ, Addis Abeba

Kefetew Guest House was our landing point for two days after arriving Ethiopia. Genet is a well-seasoned host, having lived and managed restaurants extensively in the U.S. before returning to her country of birth after the death of her father. As we were traveling with our two teeen daughters, we were covering a family room in the first floor. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was excellent with ample of hot water. What sets this guesthouse apart, however, is the quality of food. Genet and her kitchen crew manage the perfect fusion between traditional Ethiopian food and dishes that are more easy to the Western palate. As traditional food is healthy and tasty, you will get used to it very fast, but if you travel with children, Genet's kitchen is a very good starting point from a culinary perspective. I would also like to remark that we left two suitcases at Genet's house for a charity to pick up in the following days. Not only was this not a problem to Genet - she even gave us an update once the goods were collected. Kefetew Guest House is located at CMC road, which is quite a busy road leading to the airport. At night however, the neighbourhood is quiet. You might however get an early wake-up call by the muezzin of a mosque situated nearby. To us, this was not a disturbance, as we considered this an exotic increase of our vacation experience. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We would like to add the following general observations which we found helpful at the time of our travelling through Ethiopia (April and May 2023). These observations are not related to above review, but should considered as additional input for readers considering to travel to and in Ethiopia: 1. At the time of this writing, Ethiopia still suffered from the consequences of two years of Covid and 16 months of civil war. Tourists were still scarce, therefore we were both regarded as a source of potential business and as a welcome change in perspective. The Ethiopians we met were friendly, open and curious. We responded friendly and open ourselves, but remained firm when things got too overwhelming. 2. The majority of Ethiopians are orthodox Christians with a minority of Muslims. Although people are tolerant and friendly, they take their religion seriously. When visiting churches and mosques, the tried to treat these institutions with utmost respect and dignity, also with our dress attire (no tank tops please). If visiting a church on Sunday, we would recommend buying a white shawl to cover shoulders and (women) head, they cost almost nothing, make a good souvenir and earn you the respect of other churchgoers. Most of the churches have guides eager to explain paintings and structures - and bear in mind: If a curtain is covering an entrance or a painting, it is there for a reason and not as an invitation to boldly go where no tourist went b

Fatti sentire i benvenuti dal personale della reception disponibile. Le camere ei letti erano molto confortevoli e molta acqua calda e bollitore per tè nelle camere. Prendi i tappi per le orecchie se hai il sonno leggero poiché i cani locali abbaiano durante la notte. Buona varietà di cibo per la colazione e le omelette erano fantastiche. Il servizio del pasto serale era lento perché a corto di personale, anche se siamo stati informati quando siamo entrati per cena. Il cibo era ok ma non eccezionale. Non abbiamo usato il centro benessere o la palestra, ma hanno un bell'aspetto. Nel complesso, un buon soggiorno ad Addis Abeba e molto vicino all'aeroporto.

Ho ospitato con la mia famiglia e la nostra esperienza è stata fantastica. La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona, vicino ai principali punti strategici della città. La ricezione e l'ospitalità di tutti i dipendenti dell'hotel è stata eccellente. Siamo arrivati solo, Sirak, il direttore dell'impianto, ha messo a disposizione un funzionario che ci ha accompagnati gentilmente e senza alcun costo, in un negozio telefonico locale per risolvere la nostra connessione a Internet. Il funzionario è rimasto con noi fino a quando non siamo stati ascoltati e è stato l'intermediario tra noi e il funzionario della società, che ha facilitato molto la comunicazione. Tutti i membri del South Gate sono stati molto sollecitati e collaborativi per qualsiasi situazione in cui erano stati richiesti. Ogni volta che ci dirigevamo alla reception per chiedere qualche informazione, ecc, ci offrivano un tè o un caffè mentre aspettavamo la risposta. L'appartamento molto confortevole e ben attrezzato e la pulizia, impeccabile. Infine, vale la pena sottolineare che, alla nostra partenza, il signor Sirak si è occupato di ottenere un taxi (pagato per l'hotel) per trasferirci all'aeroporto, cosa che non era incluso nel nostro pacchetto, è stato un gesto molto gentile. Super consiglio questo posto per chi visita Addis Abeba.

Il personale è così caldo, fa svanire qualsiasi problema, consiglia la visita e sempre li per una conversazione amichevole o giocare con il nostro bambino nel foyer. Le camere sono super pulite, letti grandi, acqua calda e internet che è sempre lì. È vicino all'aeroporto e un taxi a piedi dalla maggior parte delle principali attrazioni della città. Localmente sono alcuni belli ristoranti, un'area di shopping e un sacco di negozi di caffè. Voglio solo ringraziare tutti i dipendenti per il loro benvenuto e ospitezza di nuovo, tutti voi ha fatto il nostro viaggio molto più speciale.

Il tetto dell'hotel di Adswa, le strutture sono complete, basso basso, non può essere esposto a tutte le esigenze, il modello di camera è in direzione e configurazione, le strutture sono nuove, l'hotel è un ristorante cinese completo, il ristorante del primo piano e il secondo piano contiene bagagli, c'è un spa cinese, e la sala fitness del tetto può guardare il panorama di Ads, C'è un campo di calcio accanto a lui per vedere il gioco.

E'molto bene che le condizioni sanitarie in Africa possano essere così.Per i turisti cinesi, non c'è acqua calda è un grande problema.La posizione geografica è buona, vicino alla strada e segue dal punto di uscita della carta turistica.

Buona gente e camere pulite, il cibo che forniscono è eccellente si può provare a ingerire felefel che lo fanno così bene, se si ha un problema in hotel si può parlare direttamente con l'amministratore sarà felice di risolvere questo problema.
