I have stayed in this hotel quite a number of times and consistently the quality of my stay has been high. This time was no exception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were spotless and had everything I needed. The WiFi was complimentary and worked really well. The signal was strong and stable. There was one thing that I'd like to see changed though. You need to register every day, but the login process is confusing. After you've agreed to the terms and conditions and clicked on the button to get the free WiFi, another window pops up and it wants to know things from you. This is however not needed to sign up for the WiFi and seems to be purely for marketing purposes. By clicking on the right link, you can skip it. The room was not all that large, but the space was definitely adequate. There was more than enough space for my clothes and other things. The water boiler plus complimentary tea and coffee was convenient, just as the very large safety deposit box that easily fit my 15” laptop, plus other belongings. The work desk was small and especially with a regular chair, not suitable to work at for a longer period of time. The TV was small and had a limited set of channels, but that was not so relevant for me. A detail, but really useful, is that there are sufficient power outlets and at the right place. This makes it very easy to charge your devices. The bathroom was on the small side, but fully functional and the water pressure from the showerhead was more than sufficient. Only minor thing that I've noticed in the past too, is that it requires some engineering creativity to keep the showerhead in the right position. This should definitely be improved. It is annoying and unnecessary. Last, but not at all least, was the breakfast buffet. I really enjoyed it. This is mostly a continental style buffet, but with an amazing amount of choices, including various types of fresh and very tasty breads, yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, juices, cereal, etc. This is a great example to other hotels how to serve a healthy, yet delicious breakfast.

Di fronte al centro test DSH, perché ci vuole molto tempo per entrare nella sede, è anche troppo tardi per andare all'esame dopo aver dormito fino alle nove, e poi fare colazione, puoi vedere la situazione fuori dall'aula d'esame, e puoi andare al piano di sotto dopo essere entrato nel locale. È molto adatto venire ad Aquisgrana per sostenere l'esame dsh. Scarpe per bambini. La configurazione dell'hotel è abbastanza soddisfacente.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days while helping our son move to Aachen from a different part of Germany. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is only a 5 minute walk from the train station, and about 15 minute walk to both our son's new apartment in the Frankenberger neighborhood and also to the old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Panayoti who spoke very good English and explained all the charges on our hotel bill clearly. The breakfast offered a variety of healthy choices and fresh baked goods and was reasonably priced. The hotel felt very safe both in terms of Covid precautions and security at night time when returning late. The only thing I felt was not quite up to my expectations were the flat pillows and firm beds. I prefer fluffier pillows and a softer bed, but it was comfortable enough for the length of our stay. When I return to Aachen, I will not hesitate to book a stay at this hotel again.

I loved the location. Not a bad walk from the train station and heheh you are just at the edge of the good stuff- an old German restaurant next door, the Cathedral a block or 2 around the corner. The bar wasn’t as appealing as some as the other Motel Ones I’ve been too- a little more business feeling. But I’ve come to love the color and decor scheme of this chain. Always super quiet and serene.

Ho avuto un bilancio DZ (108) per strada nella CE. Era estremamente rumoroso in una finestra aperta e in aria entrano gas di scarico e calore da fumatori passati. Poiché la stanza era nella CE, tutti possono guardare. Quando si chiude le finestre è quasi tranquillo. Il migliore è prendere una camera al cortile, se possibile. La mia conoscente aveva nella camera 107 (anche budget-DZ). Ha avuto una porta balcone al cortile. Buono per fumatori :-) La camera era pulita e la dimensione era ok. Gallo da doccia e fiocchi sono disponibili. Colazione: 4 varietà di salsa, 2 varietà di formaggio, pane e pane, marmellate e nutella. Ci sono anche ingredienti per un minimo musli: flocche di avena, flocche di grano naturale e cioccolato. ---- uova cotte in duro e yogurt. A questo scopo è una macchina da caffè davvero deliziosa con diversi caffè da scegliere. Altre bevande sono anche disponibili: succo d'arancia, succo di mela, latte e tè. Tutto in tutto un buon colazione per un hotel a buon prezzo. In 10-15 minuti si cammina a piedi presso la casa di dominio/consiglio. La ricezione è occupata solo da 14.00. Non è possibile effettuare l'iscrizione precedente.

Questa è la nostra prima permanenza in un hotel di Valk e io comincio con le cose positive. 1) Il personale del lobby e la colazione sono molto amichevole e utile.2) Quando siamo arrivati, abbiamo avuto un'altra stanza dopo una denuncia senza alcun problema. 1) Abbiamo una stanza in cui il telaio aveva dei padri neri che sembravano sporchi. 2) Il letto nella nuova stanza era sul lato che si trovava di fronte a un passo di un parco vacanze, che era stato indossato dai pesi pesanti nel tempo e non è mai stato ripulito. Ho risolto questo problema temporaneamente, girando il secondo mattress molto spesso. 3) La mia moglie e io non siamo riusciti a guardare le nostre vecchie foto digitalizzate e i video corti (TV ha un porto USB) perché la televisione ha chiuso tutto in modo che non potevamo nemmeno guardare la TV. Nel letto e nel muro c'erano molte parti grosse e spesso di polvere. (vedi foto) Queste camere sono molto buie anche con tutte le ”luci” attorno e per caso ho notato questo perché ho usato il mio flash la notte. 5) Il signor Valk ci ha inviato un buono per un drink di benvenuto che non specificava alcun periodo di validità; quando era sete l'ultimo giorno abbiamo deciso di usarlo e siamo andati al lobby e abbiamo mostrato questo buono, e la risposta era che era valido solo all'arrivo. Quando ho detto alla signora che questo buono non ne aveva menzionato nulla, ci ha detto di prendere una tazza di caffè dove abbiamo appena fatto colazione un'ora prima. Questa prima conoscenza (in olandese? ) con i vostri hotel Valk era freddo e non ci ha piu' fatto.

Anche se non ci aspettavamo che le nostre camere fossero nel Castello stesso, l'alloggio nei moderni blocchi era corporativo e disgustoso e, sebbene descritto come ”deluxe con balcone”, non avevano visione della vecchia pila o di qualsiasi altra cosa di particolare interesse. Per essere onesti, sono rimasto in più interessanti Travel Lodges nel Regno Unito e ho pagato la metà del prezzo. L'intero posto ha oso la medicrittura, dal cameriere di check-in che non ha fatto alcuna raccomandazione su come sperimentare il Castello che, in effetti, è stato sigillato a il nostro bagno, che non aveva luce naturale o aria e doccia nel bagno. Tutti molto deludenti. Il pranzo nella vecchia Milla d'acqua è stato disgustato da un ritardo di 25 minuti prima di vedere un menu e distanze estremamente lunghe tra i corsi che abbiamo messo sotto la mancanza di personale della cucina o forse la mancanza di menù inglese, entrambi sembravano plausibili. Il cibo stesso era di alta qualità/medio range, anche se certamente non gourmet o di buon cibo. Insomma, i vini Limburg non erano inclusi nell'elenco, ma un numero molto limitato di bottiglie provenienti dal vigneto migliore promosso nella regione erano disponibili per il vetro su richiesta. Il servizio aveva i suoi guai, come chiederci cosa volevamo bere prima di essere stati forniti un elenco di bevande/vini, ma è stato generalmente caratterizzato da uno sforzo sincero di fornire un servizio attento. Abbiamo scelto di non avere il buffet per colazione a 23 euro a getto e, sebbene il direttore di check-out abbia riconosciuto verbalmente che non avevamo partecipato, in qualche modo ha incluso un articolo sulla fattura ”consegna di colazione esclusa”. che ha aggiunto 46 euro alla fattura (sì, aggiunto) che abbiamo scoperto solo quando siamo pronti a partire. È assolutamente stupido e un simbolicamente adatto per finire la nostra avventura sbagliata a Kastel Vaalsbroek.

Quattro notti, la prima di cui nella suite di Natale. Molto ambienti, con in ogni stanza un albero di Natale, vari guirlandi con luci, soggiorno separato con schermo piatto e Netflix, bagno con doppio tavolo da lavare l'uno contro l'altro. Molto spazio per la cabina ovunque, doccia pioggia, pannelli infrarossi, e una camera da letto spaziosa, tutto bene, ma la domanda se potessimo avere due letti separati, è stata risolta negativamente. In suite abbiamo dovuto togliere ogni volta 7 punti, che erano quasi inaccessibili nella camera da letto. Un AB era stato così utile e poi il bagno con la porta di vetro, chi inventa qualcosa del genere? Anche abbiamo mancato un piano Oid nel doccia. Shampoo e sapone dovevano essere messi sul pavimento, per il resto tutto era buono, la stanza normale era spaziale, di nuovo con schermo piatto e Netflix. Bella bagno, qui un piano. Il buffet per colazione era stato esteso con per ogni cosa, la cena era anche buona, solo dovevamo chiedere sempre frittelle, perché indipendentemente dal numero di piatti principali, avete ricevuto solo un piccolo bicchiere di frittelle.

This is a very nice place and probably we would stay again. It is in a historic building and that comes with certain quirks. The biggest thing to know is it’s not for people who are physically limited. You don’t park near the entrance and there are no elevators to the room. Everything has steps and there is no assistance offered, so unless you get a ground floor room you are toting your bags up the narrow steps. We are fully able so it wasn’t a problem. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff generally very nice and helpful. It’s a bit odd though as it combines high luxury with low frills, such as no help with bags. They seemed a bit understaffed. The food is great but expensive if you dine in. Not unreasonable for the food but high for every day dining. Overall the stay was very good but a bit on the expensive side. One oddity was we wanted to stay an extra night ( we emailed a few weeks ahead and got no reply) and when we inquired as we checked in were told they had a room but they couldn’t book us at the front desk we had go online. We decided to move on.
