Portogallo: hotel con pick-up nella provincia di Distretto di Évora

We’ve been travelling for five weeks in Spain and Portugal and this is the first hotel we haven’t loved. The location is good…we walked to and from the bus station. Breakfast was really delicious but it was 8.5 Euros each on top of room in most other Portugal hotels, we’ve had breakfast included for similar price. We just didn’t love our room. I think maybe it hadn’t been upgraded yet. Even with air conditioner on the whole time, it only got down to 24 degrees. For us, the mattresses on top of the bed frames kept sliding off and pillows were really big & uncomfy. Also, it was 40 degrees there and there was no ice in the hotel no fridge in our room to cool down our water bottles. We ended up buying water in plastic bottles which we hate doing.

Moov è un hotel pulito, attraente e confortevole che offre parcheggio sotto l'hotel. Le camere sono piccole, ma confortevoli, con doccia e un bel colazione. Il personale è amichevole e veramente utile. Evora è una città affascinante che offre ruine romane, negozi e ristoranti e al di fuori della città, la versione portoghese di Stonehenge. Ci sono anche aziende agricole e tour di corco.

L'hotel è super centrale e dall'esterno piuttosto invisibile . All'interno è molto arredata e particolarmente bella è la piscina e l'aperto . Molto bella camera da colazione e molto buon colazione . Avevamo una camera con balcone e vista sulla piscina - molto tranquillo . È anche fantastico il garage profondo . In ogni caso, torneremmo.

This is a wonderful, unique hotel in Vila Vicosa. It's owner also owns one of the many marble quarries in the area and has made extensive use of Portuguese marble as well as marble from other countries in the décor of the hotel. Our room was the Arabe suite which was one of the largest, most opulent suites we've ever stayed in. Daily housekeeping was thorough and efficient and our bed was extremely comfortable. The daily breakfast was full of many different dishes, including typical European breakfast food, as well as pastries, eggs and sausage. Service at the hotel and dining areas was attentive and professional. The one issue, which seems to be unique to Portugal since I've never run into it before, is that one Nespresso coffee pod was provided each morning for free and each additional pod was 2 Euros each. Every hotel I've ever stayed in has always offered free in-room coffee. But, in the grand scheme of things, this was minor annoyance since coffee was plentiful in the dining area and included with breakfast.

A beautiful bulding, a splendid location with a calm and tranquil entourage. But: The hotel it’s not prepared for high season, food took ages, to be served, and almost everyday there was something missing on breakfast, due to sold out reasons. The worst FBM they choose to manage this hotel. If the restaurant it’s sold out for dinner, you will not have any chance to get food until 22:30, and the menu at that hour it’s resumed to 3 different types of toasts, that happen to me and my family. We arrive at 20:30 and we where starving, and they refuse to serve food until 22:30, after a bit of reclamation different food from a snack menu was offered. On one of the busiest days in the hotel, the pool bar was closed. It was bank holiday, and the hotel was full. It was a mess to get some food. The rooms are clean, and they are in old monastery rooms. Ours was a mess. We asked for two complementary beds, the most discomfortable ever seen. The room door did not work at all, at front desk they told us, they were expecting a new one. The door didn’t close unless with a key, We asked for an extra key, something normal for 4PAX in the same room, it did work, but only to open not to close from the inside. The bath room with beautiful local marble from the region, it was impossible to take a shower with get a bump in the head, resulting from the falling of the shower from its wall holder. They fixed it by reducing the water pressure, but from that moment on, it was impossible to regulate the water temperature. The cleaning team never left the enough toilet paper, almost every day we need to call for more. Finally the extra beds that I payed for my kids were with a thin mattress and a falling apart estruture with springs getting loose, and a sofa bed also falling apart, that we need to fix every day. One day we arrived lately and found the room door completely open, some one from the cleaning staff, left the door open after cleaning the room, lucky nothing was missing. At the end as compensation they offer a day of one extra bed, around 2,5% discount. The personal at the front desk were always very friendly, collaborative and sympathetic with us and all the events, that happen with us during the stay. It’s not enough being beautiful wen you’re are not efficient or even haven’t the conditions to receive your guests in conformity with the price you demand.

In generale, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno sorprendente. La proprietà è stupenda in una zona del Portogallo che è anche stupenda, circondata da colline, cork, vigneti e città di quaint. Questa proprietà ha così tanto potenziale, e il vino è molto buono! Il principale edificio è stato ben tenuto, e il percorso intorno al lago era meraviglioso. Abbiamo anche fatto il festival della raccolta, che era tra le più sorprendenti esperienze che abbiamo mai avuto, quando viaggiavamo. Il cibo e il vino erano deliziosi. Le attività sono state divertenti e sono andate in ritardo di notte. Le persone erano gentili. Ora i negativi le suite L' e Vista non sono mantenuti molto bene. Altre categorie di camere possono essere mantenute molto meglio, come la proprietà e l'edificio principale. Le bolle sono fuori, e hanno bisogno di una pulizia profonda e di un riparatore. Abbiamo dovuto cambiare le stanze durante il nostro soggiorno perché l'unità A/C non funzionava bene, le cortine erano sgombrate e la stanza aveva alcune questioni di pulizia. La seconda stanza era migliore, ma sembrava anche invecchiata, e per il punto di prezzo ci aspettavamo di prestare maggiore attenzione a questi dettagli.

Ottima posizione, ottima ricezione prestazioni . Quello che sottolinea è il caffè del mattino ( colazione) 10. Buona pulizia , nuove e accogliente strutture . Congratulazioni.

We spent a wonderful seven nights at the Convento in May. We booked directly with the hotel and requested an upper floor room (there are only ground level or first floor rooms in the new part of the accommodation) which we were given. It was quite far from the reception (room 149) but was quite a big room with a balcony looking over the countryside and sun in the afternoon which was fantastic (and pushed up our daily steps quota!). The location of the hotel is perfect for those looking for a peaceful break. Évora is easily reached by taxi (average about 10€) but it's also worth giving the two on site restaurants a try. Be aware that it's best to reserve well in advance and the more informal Italian option wasn't open every night during our stay. The bar also does food but the one night we used this we had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive (not so much of a problem in the wonderful surroundings of the Convento, but still...). This is overall a 5 star property but there were some aspects which we thought required attention. As others have mentioned, you will need to book a time slot for your breakfast. There seemed to be frequent coachloads of mainly American tourists who all took breakfast during the earlier slots so you should bear this in mind. It didn't really bother us but we had to take a slot nearer to 09:00 every day which might be an inconvenience for some. We requested a kettle for our room as well as cups but had to ask three times before they were delivered to us. Towards the end of our stay we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary bottle of the house espumante. We really would recommend taking one of the wine tasting sessions and the short guided tour of the Convento. Apart from the fantastic location, the superb grounds and pool plus everything else we have mentioned, the 'fifth star' at this accommodation is definitely the staff who were always smiling and ready to help/offer advice when needed. L'hotel è nel paese non lontano dal centro di Ewula, molto grande, molto buono, e un parcheggio gratuito è sufficiente.Molti turisti sono stati alloggiati.Ascoltare il rumore degli uccelli di mattina è molto piacevole.Il colazione è ricco di dolcezza.

Che sorpresa meravigliosa è stata di rimanere nella Casa Morgata Sporo a Évora per il nostro gruppo di 15 persone. È stata una fantastica esperienza. Le camere, la sala che ha servito per il colazione, la varietà e la qualità dell'offerta di colazione, tutto è stato eccezionale. E devo anche ricordare la disponibilità e la simpatia del personale, in particolare nella persona di Joni Pisco che è stato ineccessibile. Grazie a nome di tutto il gruppo.

Siamo stati a Evora per un giorno e siamo stati molto accoglienti. L'hotel ha davvero spiegato tutto molto bene e gentile e ha segnalato i punti più importanti su una mappa per noi. La camera era ben arredata e bella. Il letto potrebbe essere un po ' troppo morbido e la camera leggermente luminosa ma tutto in tutto davvero fantastico ! Anche il colazione è molto piacevole.

Abbiamo avuto una bella permanenza in Evora e abbiamo prenotato l'hotel MouraSuits. L'ingresso era molto amichevole e abbiamo potuto anche prendere la nostra stanza più di quanto indicato. L'hotel offre un parcheggio extra, quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi di fermare la nostra auto. Abbiamo avuto una camera superiore per 2 persone con vista sulla piscina. Il bagno è bellissimo dotato di una doccia pioggia. La piscina è stata anche piacevole fredda, ma non troppo fredda. Il colazione era un sogno. Possiamo ordinare il nostro pasto d'uovo senza un premio, ci sono stati diversi succhi freschi, formaggio e taglio di salsa, bagagli, ecc. - Torniamo comunque.

Lovely old hotel that we found ourselves getting lost in.We ate as a large group of cyclists in the restaurant and all really enjoyed our meals.Pool environment was very relaxing Only slightly negative comment was shower water not very hot.
