Hotel pratique pour sa proximité avec la gare, le parking est assez petit et les meubles dans les chambres auraient bien besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement. Le quartier est calme donc on y dort bien ! Le personnel est accueillant et sympa.

Gli hotel che ho prenotato per questo viaggio d'affari erano tutti fantastici! Le camere erano spaziose e pulite, e si trovava a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Nantes, il che è stato comodo dato che non avevo molti bagagli. La posizione sembrava essere in centro città; ho visitato un centro commerciale lì vicino e ho trovato diverse gioiellerie di stilisti. I gioielli PRIEUR erano costosi e bellissimi – assolutamente fantastici! Devo assolutamente consigliare la colazione! Inizialmente pensavo che fosse nella media e avevo pensato di mangiare fuori; tuttavia, era troppo presto la mattina e i negozi non erano ancora aperti, quindi ho fatto colazione in hotel. Era davvero superba! Avevo anche una vista su un ”albero tricolore” proprio fuori dalla finestra della mia camera – lasciate che ve lo mostri! 👀

I stayed at Oldegar Hotel and overall had a positive experience, especially thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. My room was normal and met the basic needs for a short stay. The location is perfect — it’s close to the tram and the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It’s also within walking distance of the botanic garden, which makes the area even more pleasant and convenient. My room was on the 5th floor, and since the elevator only goes up to the 4th floor, I had to walk one floor up. Despite this, I managed to carry my luggage down myself when checking out. At the beginning of my stay, the elevator was temporarily out of service. Although it was inconvenient, the staff genuinely tried their best to resolve the issue. They immediately contacted the maintenance team and kept guests informed. One male staff member even helped me carry my heavy luggage all the way up to the 5th floor — I was truly thankful for his kindness and effort. Throughout my stay, every staff member I met was friendly, attentive, and willing to help. Their attitude made a challenging situation much easier to handle and left a very positive impression.

At arrival we were welcomed by Anthony who helped us entering the street of the pedestrian zone and the parking lot. Fortunately there were still parking spaces , there are 10 in total, if available it is free. That’s a plus! What a service. He helped us check in show us around. When our safe has a technical failure he sorted a solution providing a new one. The hotel is in the middle of the centre 2 minutes from La Cigale. Good breakfast with self service nespresso coffee and the best madeleine. What disappointed me was the inappropriate frugality of the amenities. Why one bottle of 500 ml mineral water while we are with 2 persons? How much does this cost? And used Rituals toiletries from previous guests? Seriously in a 4 star hotel. When questioning they came with 2 new mini bottles but in the end give me one new bottle to replace the half used one. Why so stingy? When informing it was because of sustainability and to prevent waste. A good cause but why bothering using mini toiletries at all and not change to use only large bottles of refillables? It feels a bit half-hearted and unable to choose between customer service and thriftiness.

The location is perfect - within a 10–15 minute walk of almost all the main attractions (30 minute walk to Les Machines de I'îIe), making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The rooms are comfortable, and the hotel has beautiful lounge areas, both indoors and outdoors, where it's a pleasure to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also loved the complimentary Nespresso coffee and tea available in the lobby. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is its extraordinary staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, incredibly helpful, and exceptionally professional. Their kindness, attentiveness, and sincere desire to make every guest feel cared for were evident in every interaction. It's rare to come across such a remarkable team, and they turned a lovely stay into a truly unforgettable experience! We left with wonderful memories and heartfelt gratitude. Thank you to everyone at Hotel de la Cité for making us feel so welcome—we can't wait to return!

Ero a Nantes per il gioco della Coppa del Mondo Rugby tra Giappone e Argentina La posizione è buona, il benvenuto dal personale è buono e il colazione è stile caffettiera. Quando sono arrivato mi è stato detto che avevo prenotato due camere che certamente non avevo e questo è ancora in discussione con Trip! Ho fatto un volo presto la mattina seguente e ho prenotato una telefonata al mattino alle 3:00 e un taxi per le 4:00. Non ho mai ricevuto la chiamata del 3° mattino, ma mi sono svegliato presto per scoprire che uno dei miei voli era stato cancellato, quindi sono andato in ricevimento per cancellare il mio taxi, come la mia compagnia aerea mi aveva ripreso in un volo successivo. Sono arrivato alla ricezione alle 3:30 per trovare inaspettato. Finalmente ho trovato un puliziatore dal servizio di proprietà Emliss che parlava molto basilare inglese e non parlo francese. Dopo aver provato a spiegare che volevo cancellare il mio taxi, ha parlato con qualcun altro, ma non parlando francese, non riuscivo a capire cosa sta succedendo.

What to say… An amazing location with great service and beautiful bedrooms. First, the castle in itself is just amazing, with its building architecture and its interior design with art collections… gorgeous. Our bedroom was the Île Sacrée Miyajima bleu and gold symphony… with outside balcony and intimate deco… superb… Second, the service, everyone was perfect, smiling, helpful and courteous. One note: no one proposed to take our suitcases from the car, which I would have expected from a 5 stars hotel… Third, the cuisine at the restaurant was actually not my favorite cup of tea. But it is obviously a very updated one, and both service and quality of ingredients were great. The breakfast and its buffet was very high quality. Price wise, obviously not a cheap location, but expected for the 5 stars ranking and the beauty of our stay. After a flight of 13h + a train of 3h , it was a sophisticated and resting break where we will come back.

The room and hotel was really clean. It is located in an accessible location. Walking distance from the train station. The staff were all really friendly and very helpful. Checking in and checking out was really easy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Something I really appreciated that they are really environmentally conscious. Just something for everyone to take note will be that toothbrush and toothpaste is not offered. Also, some small things that could be better would be that the railing for the towels seem to be coming off. However, these were really minor issues that we faced.

We stayed here for 3 nights, this is part of our business travel and the staying was good! Reception desk was very helpful and we had great breakfast services there! It is good experience to stay at Nantes, the location was just cross the door to the train station. perfect location. Meanwhile the living room is equipped with a lot of shared space for co-working, perfect!

When i arrived at the hotel reception there was a sweet lady that explained to me everything I needed to know about the amenities and the accommodation. That's a big plus from me. Very close to F.C. Nantes stadium, if someone is interested. The room was medium size with almost everything you might need. The bathroom has all the amenities but the shower room was a bit downsized. The only big disappointment from my point of view was the lack of air- con ( they have just a fan that doesn't make any difference when it is 36 degrees outside).
