Grecia: hotel con pick-up nella provincia di Tessaglia

La mia famiglia ed io,in arrivo da Atene,abbiamo prenotato due camere comunicanti in questo hotel,per due notti,come appoggio per la visita delle Meteore. Purtroppo,le nostre considerazioni sono negative su ogni fronte. Accoglienza fredda e scarna. Ambienti comuni rinnovati non proprio recentemente,ma diciamo,comunque,accettabili anche se privi di accoglienza e calore. La piscina non è’ stata da noi utilizzata.Quindi,non posso esprimere un parere. Per quanto riguarda le camere le definirei di una tristezza assoluta. Spazi piccoli ed angusti,mobili vetusti e trasandati.Il livello massimo di decadimento concerne il letto che era stato così tanto usato da essere sfondato e con doghe che scricchiolavano.Senza parlare della qualità delle lenzuola e delle spugne in bagno. In bagno abbiamo trovato qualche capello. Quindi,la pulizia risultava anche approssimativa. Noi abbiamo consumato una cena e una colazione e che dire il cibo era da mensa. Per nostra figlia celiaca avevano a disposizione pane e pasta,ma nulla in più. Presi dalla disperazione trascorsa la prima notte,abbiamo preso tutti i bagagli,benché ci avessero già fatto pagare due notti,e ci siamo trasferiti in una graziosa e accogliente e soprattutto pulitissima guest-house. A favore del responsabile c’è da dire che ci ha offerto la cena della sera precedente. In conclusione,direi che si trattava di un hotel di media qualità che,però’,negli anni,e’ stato solo sfruttato senza fare alcuna miglioria delle camere. Per noi sconsigliatissimo.

The Theatro Hotel Odysseon is located quite close to the road that connects all 6 monasteries in Meteora. This makes self-guided touring of the monasteries very easy (no need to hire a guide as it's super-easy to do on your own if you have a vehicle). There is private parking on-site at this hotel. The downside of the location is that is a rather long walk to restaurants in the town centre. The room was clean and well-maintained. Ours was the ”Madam Butterfly” themed room, which featured a very low ”futon - inspired” bed. Note this may be more difficult for those who have mobility challenges as it is very low to the floor. Otherwise, the furnishings we nice. We also had a private outdoor patio with a view of one of the rock pinnacles. Breakfast was good, and served in the restaurant area of the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. The wifi in our room was quite weak. We would stay here again if visiting Meteora in the future.

Classic hotel with all what a traveller needs, e.g: helpful staff, clean room. Refrigerator in the room, air-condition, which does not stop working after leaving the room. Good breakfast. Bed was too soft for me, but it is a personal preference. Good breakfast.

Molto buon hotel. Quando siamo in gallina. Il primo ufficio ci dice quando e dove andare. E introduce tutto il posto a noi. La radice è anche bello veder le montagne nella stanza. Andrò al bar per ordinare il caffè, il servizio mi ha detto che lo manderà alla stanza.Ottimo staff, ogni corpo sorriderà.Quando usciamo, perche' abbiamo perso una carta da camera.La bella signora mi ha detto di non preoccuparti.Non c'è problema. Hotel perfetto a Meteora.

Very disappointed as I spent quite a bit of time looking for just the ”right” place to stay in this magical area. This was a long awaited trip extensive trip through Greece (and Istanbul) and as stated, I took great pains to find just the right establishment in each place I visited. My stay in Kalambaka was to be no different. With only 2 short days, this was to be of quality, not quantity. While still be somewhat budget conscious, I was not going to settle for a bottom of the barrel ”economy room” someplace in the area. I wanted a warm and inviting room with a nice balcony to relax, have some wine, look up at the Rocks and ponder over my experiences that day after a magical and spiritual day of exploring the Monasteries. After searching and reviewing any hotels, bnb's (what have you), many the same price range, if not less, I landed on Toti. Close to everything (shops, town life, markets, scooter rental, and train station), but not ”right in the middle” of it all where it wouldn't be quite as peaceful. Had simple, but warm and inviting decor and an inviting and comfortable balcony, just as I wanted (...or so it was advertised). As I have learned over the years, I had contacted the establishment to confirm the room I was booking; size, style, amenities, balcony, view etc. Upon receiving their reply email, informing me there was no coffee pot/kettle, so I should buy breakfast (???), did have a nice balcony with meteora view, as well as advising me to look at the pictures of the room they had posted, as to show what to expect for the room I was booking. With that confirmation I went through with the booking. When I arrived and shown to the room I was in awe (and not in a good way), so much so I expressed as such pretty much the minute I stepped into the room. I was simply told it had what I booked (??). When I saw the ”balcony” I was even more so taken aback. It had a metal security door on a side wall that opened up into a ”space” that was more of an outdoor landing than a balcony. No more than 5x3 feet, a metal corrugated partition, and one plastic yard chair squeezed in. There wasn't even room for a table so they had a ”tray table” attached to the railing. While it did have a view of the Rocks, it was far from comfortable and relaxing as I had to squeeze around the door just to be able to get to the chair to sit down. Forget about being able to sit back and relax, as the only way I was able to stretch my legs was to shimmy the chair out a bit to be able to close the door (leaving me outside); which I was afraid to do without leaving a wedge in the door jamb for fear of getting locked out on said ”balcony”. (as the door, handle, lock etc were some subpar ”storage unit” looking type deal). So, after a quick debate with myself to address this with management in attempt to resolve and remedy, I didnt want to waste the minimal time I had dealing with this bs. I dropped of my bags and went to explore. Upon my late evening return, after an AMAZI

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Location is near the monasteries that we plan to visit. Our room has a balcony and a nice view. There's also a lift in the building, so we don't gave to climb the stairs with heavy luggage. It has a wide variety of breakfast spread. We arrived earlier than check in time, around 2pm, there's no one at the reception. We went back after lunch and were able to check in. Maybe we should have informed them that we are arriving earlier than 3pm.

L’accoglienza si è svolta bene questo domenica PM. Ci hanno rapidamente fornito le nostre chiavi dopo aver dato consigli sulle aree circostanti. Abbiamo anche preso il tempo di presentare la mappa della regione dei Meteori. Il personale è attento e sempre pronto a aiutarci o consigliarci. Ci è un'opzione per i pranzi a 7,50 euro. Possiamo lasciare il nostro veicolo davanti all'hotel. Le camere sono piccole ma molto ben attrezzate. La camera da bagno era impeccabilmente lavata. Ci sono un piccolo frigo, TV, ufficio... Ma il punto forte della camera (numero 5) è senza dubbio la vista che offre sui meteori. Il piccolo balcone è dotato di una tavola bistro con le sue due sedie, ideali per rilassarsi davanti ai majestosi rocciosi che ci dominano a pochi centinaia di metri. Le località sono tranquille, les chambres bien insonorisées. Il mattino, è possibile pranzo sul balcone, ma fatelo prima delle 8:00, ora in cui il Sole si alza sopra le rocche e inonda la terrazza di luce, ma soprattutto di calore in questi giorni caldi di luglio. A pochi passi dall’hotel, nel centro di Kalambaka, c’è una folla di ristoranti, negozi, farmacie, negozi e altri negozi. Per visitare i meteori, abbiamo avuto solo 15 minuti in veicolo; la strada passa attraverso il villaggio di Kastraki, dove ci sono molte taverne.

Camere molto ampie e spaziose, pulizia impeccabile e molta cordialità all'arrivo. Comodo e grande il parcheggio sia per auto che per bus turistici. La colazione a buffet ricca ed abbondante. Bollitore per the e caffè in camera.

Buona posizione, vicino alla fermata di autobus a buon prezzo! Non c'è alcuna inconvenienza di visitare Meteora, e il personale del lobby è molto amichevole! Mi sono riposato confortevolmente 😁

Αν θα μπορούσα να βάλω μείον σε αστέρια θα το έκανα... Ξεκινάμε από εκεί.. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ οποίος θέλει δωμάτιο στην Καλαμπάκα με τίποτα εκεί και θα σας εξηγήσω το γιατί..είχαμε κάνει κρατηση2 δωμάτια 2 ζευγάρια και μας εξήγησε πολύ ευγενικά η κοπέλα ότι επειδή δεν υπάρχουν 2πλα κρεβάτια θα μας τα είχαν ενώσει αυτοί πριν φτάσουμε.. Φτάνουμε στο ξενοδοχείο ανεβαίνουμε στο δωμάτιο που αντικρίζουμε ότι τα κρεβάτια ήταν 2 μόνα και ενω κατεβήκαμε να το πούμε η συμβουλή της ρεσεψιόν ήταν να τα κάνουμε μόνοι μας.. Χαχαχα πραγματικά γελοίοι οι άνθρωποι.. Συνεχίζουμε με το δωμάτιο :χνουδια και τρίχες παντού το 1 κρεβάτι ήταν να κοιμηθείς και να σηκωθείς σαν τελικο σίγμα διότι πρέπει να είχε 5μιση με 6 ταβλες το πολύ και το στρώμα ήταν τσιγαροχαρτο. Ο κλιματισμός του 1980 ενω έβγαζε πάρα πολύ ζέστη ήταν σαν να είχες δίπλα σου εργοστάσιο τόσο έντονος ήχος.. Το αποκορύφωμα το μπάνιο... Σπασμένα πλακάκια που ήταν κολλημένα και ετοιμανα φύγουν το τηλέφωνο του μπάνιου μισό σπασμένο που αν δεν προσεχές μπορεί και να κοβοσουν.. Και όλα αυτά ένα δωμάτιο με 50 ευρώ..αλλα πρέπει να παραδεχτώ ότι είναι αρκετά έξυπνοι οι άνθρωποι γιατί με το που μπαίνεις στο χοτελ πληρώνεις εκείνη την στιγμή γτ λέει αν ανέβεις πάνω και δεις το δωμάτιο θα φύγεις οπότε εξασφαλίζουν το 50ρικακι και μετά έχει ο θεός.. Με αγάπη το 206..

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ οποίος θέλει δωμάτιο στην Καλαμπάκα με τίποτα εκεί και θα σας εξηγήσω το γιατί..είχαμε κάνει κρατηση2 δωμάτια 2 ζευγάρια και μας εξήγησε πολύ ευγενικά η κοπέλα ότι επειδή δεν υπάρχουν 2πλα κρεβάτια θα μας τα είχαν ενώσει αυτοί πριν φτάσουμε.. Φτάνουμε στο ξενοδοχείο ανεβαίνουμε στο δωμάτιο που αντικρίζουμε ότι τα κρεβάτια ήταν 2 μόνα και ενω κατεβήκαμε να το πούμε η συμβουλή της ρεσεψιόν ήταν να τα κάνουμε μόνοι μας.. Χαχαχα πραγματικά γελοίοι οι άνθρωποι.. Συνεχίζουμε με το δωμάτιο :χνουδια και τρίχες παντού το 1 κρεβάτι ήταν να κοιμηθείς και να σηκωθείς σαν τελικο σίγμα διότι πρέπει να είχε 5μιση με 6 ταβλες το πολύ και το στρώμα ήταν τσιγαροχαρτο. Ο κλιματισμός του 1980 ενω έβγαζε πάρα πολύ ζέστη ήταν σαν να είχες δίπλα σου εργοστάσιο τόσο έντονος ήχος.. Το αποκορύφωμα το μπάνιο... Σπασμένα πλακάκια που ήταν κολλημένα και ετοιμανα φύγουν το τηλέφωνο του μπάνιου μισό σπασμένο που αν δεν προσεχές μπορεί και να κοβοσουν.. Και όλα αυτά ένα δωμάτιο με 50 ευρώ..αλλα πρέπει να παραδεχτώ ότι είναι αρκετά έξυπνοι οι άνθρωποι γιατί με το που μπαίνεις στο χοτελ πληρώνεις εκείνη την στιγμή γτ λέει αν ανέβεις πάνω και δεις το δωμάτιο θα φύγεις οπότε εξασφαλίζουν το 50ρικακι και μετά έχει ο θεός.. Questa casa degli ospiti è una gioielleria assoluta. Elena è un ospite fenomenale. Ci ha aggiornati alla suite junior che ha una delle migliori viste in tutto il mondo! La posizione non può essere battuta. Meteora è un luogo molto speciale nel mondo che tutti dovrebbero vivere nella loro vita. Grazie mille per tutta l'ospitalità. Lo consigliamo assolutamente a tutti i nostri amici e famiglia.

Classic hotel with all what a traveller needs, e.g: helpful staff, clean room. Refrigerator in the room, air-condition, which does not stop working after leaving the room. Good breakfast. Bed was too soft for me, but it is a personal preference. Good breakfast.
