L'hotel è molto carino, situato a 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria diretta a Shinjuku. Il personale è gentile. La colazione offre molte opzioni, l'onsen è pulito e non era affollato la sera. L'unico problema è che la nostra camera era così piccola che non potevamo muoverci.

Prenotato questo posto per una notte, e si è piacevolmente sorpreso con le strutture e l'ospitalità che ci sono state date dal momento in cui siamo entrati fino al momento in cui siamo partiti. Mi piace come anche un semplice soggiorno in questo posto mi ha fatto sentire rilassato e un po' di detox dal suo bagno di merda al colazione che ci hanno fornito. Ci è stata data anche la possibilità di scegliere le ”bambole” ogni notte che dovevamo rimanere qui, e anche le attrezzature extra per noi sono soap. La notte del nostro soggiorno, ci è stata offerta anche la ”bar di benvenuto”; Dove possiamo miscelare e scegliere le scelte dell'alcol che avevano messo in guardia (ma solo per una tazza). Tuttavia, l'unica cosa che si è verificata è che non c'era molto da offrire quando ci siamo recati, perché penso che gli ospiti precedenti avessero gettato la maggior parte dell'alcol; quindi quando siamo arrivati, ci sono state solo bottiglie vuote e due scelte da scegliere. Sarà bello se il personale potesse farli salire e permettere a tutti gli ospiti di avere una scelta equa la prossima volta, ma mi aspetto di restare qui la prossima volta che visito il Giappone.

Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

Araki Kousen Ryokan was absolutely lovely and felt very welcoming for our family. This was our first stay at a ryokan in Japan, and while we were initially a little worried it might feel old or uncomfortable, it was actually very clean, cozy, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home, even helping us secure a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. The onsen was relaxing and the water temperature was just right. Breakfast was a highlight as well—delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and a wonderful way to start the day together. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return with our family again.

Great staffing with great service. Able to catch multiple free shuttles from/to Wado-Kuroya station. I just have to make a free call through the Trip.com app to contact the hotel, although the staff speaks little English, we were able to communicate using google translate, make sure to use simple language to make it easier for everyone if you are only English speaking. Train at this station is not frequent so best to plan ahead. Only to improve on is i wish we have bigger room for 4 people with the price we were paying. But overall it’s a nice traditional Japanese Ryokan.

Booked this hotel for overnite stay while on the way to Nikko. The are is quiet at night time. The room is just a standard Japan hotel room, though size is bigger compared to those in Tokyo downtown area. The hotel spa (or onsen) is actually few mins walk away (and need to go up to footbridge to cross the road). We drove to the spa mainly because there is a restaurant that we could have dinner. As we arrived late, we didn't try the onsen there. The spa looks good and staff there is very nice.

The public Bath onsen is really relaxing The quality is basically the same as those paid path house outside I will definitely come again Although the location isn’t too close to the main train station, but it’s a close walk for around 15 minutes.

foreigners beware.  the bald headed guy with glasses at the reception is a terrible host. he declined to offer to show us to our rooms and help us with our luggage.  he also did not help with the luggage when we asked for help with our luggage out when we checked out. when we checked out he was also not friendly to help with taqbin. luckily familymart was kind enough to help us with our taqbin luggage
